FYI:
"Israeli military officials have announced that about 50 percent of the Israeli conscripts refuse to serve in the army, a report says.

The announcement was made during a visit by a group of Israeli Knesset (parliament) members to a conscription center, Israeli Channel 2 reported on Sunday.

The Israeli military speculates that the percentage of refusals in the army would reach 60 by the end of 2020.

This is not the first time that the Israeli military is facing refusals to serve in the army.

In 2003, there was also an increase in the number of high-profile refusals in the Israel army.

The first instance of an Israeli soldier refusing to serve in the army was in 1954, when Amnon Zichroni asked to be released from military service.

Over the past few months, there have also been cases of Israeli troops abandoning their posts and complaining to their superiors about their harsh working conditions.

In July, four female Israeli soldiers quit their posts due to unbearable working conditions they faced in the army."

They are also having trouble with orthodox jews who have started trouble because of an event where women soldiers were singing.
The orthodox walked out, constituting disobeying orders.
I think they should have some system like in Germany, where if you don't want to do military service, you can serve in the ambulance service, the fire service or something like that.
Service to ones people is great, but military service isn't so good.

Hopefully the mind program is breaking down. There has never been a deeper assault on the minds of a people one would almost think nazi germany moved to Israel. Time to heal the trauma not perpetuate it. Best Wishes

ktlight, Amazing how the world isn't seeing the actual full story from behind the scenes. After all Israel is the purported epicenter of troubles isn't it. If I might add to the comments from everyone and I must say on here no one needs to be a genius when I say that right now if every soldier in the world said enough is enough and went home with out taking these corrupted orders from our controllers then where would that leave us as a whole. IMO Firstly the wars would stop and would be peace. Secondly those that give the orders would be in a whole lot of lonely hurt after seeing they have to do the dirty work and pay for it point blank.

I think right now the people of the world can do one better first. We can stop holding money as a tool they yield power over us all. It is just a belief system isn't it. I think the israeli people are waking up fast now to and this is a good sign the right ones are beginning wake. Cheers to the ones that now say NO!!! Good On Them!!! Chucky:whoo:

Hard to wage wars if no one shows up to fight them.

Even missles and drones require someone to push the buttons.

In the other thread about Norman Finklestein, he says Israel is the most militirised state in history, even more than Germany from 1871 (second Reich) to 1945 (third Reich).
That would take some doing.
And I think he is right.

Thanks for that.
I wholeheartedly agree and said something very similar here (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?35122-It-s-time-to-End-this-war).

Compulsory military service ended in Germany this year. :yield:

Yes! yes! As the old 60s placard read---" What if they gave a war and nobody came!?"

And then there's the 60s song "Universal Soldier".

You beat me to it. Showing our age, methinks. Yet I am hopeful as we see many of the issues of the 60's & 70's coming around again with the next generation. Maybe they can make greater success with 'instituting' People Power and End the War etc.
