I can't believe I actually just heard this song on popular radio. Just when I was still trying to get used to hos, pimpz, bitches and effing

I got a hangover, wo-oh!
I've been drinking too much for sure
I got a hangover, wo-oh!
I got an empty cup
Pour me some more

So I can go until I blow up, eh
And I can drink until I throw up, eh
And I don't ever ever want to grow up, eh

:rant:What are they feeding teens' ears nowadays?

Especially families with children are better off without TV or other uncontrolable media broadcasters. Raising your kids decently sure isn't made easy nowadays...Respect for those who take the challenge and cope.

Why, it sounds like the unofficial anthem of the late Roman Empire.
Of the very, very late late Roman Empire. You know, just before it threw up and blew up for one last time. :)

Maybe that isn't such a bad thing, after all. :-)

I thank God my older brother introduced me to all sorts of rock, jazz, blues, folk, instrumental and classic music, when I was just a kid. Since them, Iīve never had a radio. I donīt even mind turning any radio on, because I know it will not sound good.

Itīs really impressive how good/bad music can influence the personality of a kid.

I canīt really imagine a bright future for human kind, when I think of all these kids listening and watching all this crap 24/7/365.

I donīt have any midget yet, but when I get one, Iīll make sure to introduce him/her to whatīs best in terms of all kinds of art. ;)

Cheers.

Raf.

Sort of reminds me what I said to my kids when the Cheeky Girls song came out, Smack my Bum! In fact it's probably the same script different lyrics all through the ages . . . :)

Just heard this, this morning: Rianna singing, "Hey rude boy, can you get it up"? People from the 50s would have gone into shock after hearing such on the radio. I'm no prude, but it's just not appropriate for a 12 year old demographic.

Oh, well I was even more shocked when she sang I might be young but I'm perfectly good at it, sex in the air I don't care I like the smell of it.

To me that sounded like an ad for paedophilia.
