September 4, 2013 - In his second show back from a long summer off, Jon Stewart took on the "Groundhog Deja Clusterf@#k" that is the debate over military action in Syria. Stewart had a particularly good time ribbing Sen. John McCain for his unabashed iPhone poker play during yesterday's Senate hearings. "Hey, man, is this possible global conflagration interrupting your video poker time?" Stewart asked McCain. "You know what, Senator? Go. There's a rascal scooter and a bucket of quarters with your name on it over at the Golden Nugget... Instead of playing pretend poker in the actual Senate, go to an actual casino and pretend you know what the government should do."

Moving on to the pressing issues at hand, Stewart said "it's like even though we're a superpower we haven't figured out yet we don't actually have superpowers." He said the real problems started hundreds of years ago with some British man "drawing a map of a place he never had been to filled with people he never met, forming new countries with no attention paid to ethnic or religious tensions." This, of course, led to the return of John Oliver as "Sir Archibald Map-a-Lot III."

Oliver proceeded to redraw the map of the Middle East in order to fix the problems facing Syria. When Stewart questioned his "cavalier" decisions, Oliver shot back, "This is imperialism, boy! First rule is don't over think it. Second rule: don't think at all!" Things only got more outrageous from there, with Oliver clearly relishing his chance to step out of the straight-man role and go back to being the ridiculous Brit.

By the end of the bit, Oliver began playing poker on his phone, "because you are boring me, Jon. And this is what real gentlemen do. They play poker on their iPhones whenever they become inexplicably bored by something incredibly important."

September 9, 2013 - On Monday night, Jon Stewart rounded up all the latest insanity in the national Syria debate, from Fox News getting lectured by John McCain to Nancy Pelosi consulting with her five-year-old on the intricacies of global warfare. But Stewart still had one burning question: "What does the guy we're thinking of bombing think about us bombing him?"

He then proceeded to mock Syrian president Bashar al-Assad for his interview with Charlie Rose. When Assad cited American opposition to Syrian strikes, Stewart asked, "What kind of balls does a ruthless dictator have to cite public opinion polls?"

Stewart then brought on Aasif Manvdi to explain how the "limpless, beady-eyed" tyrant is really just on a charm offensive.

Revisiting UFO Sighting, Chicago O’Hare Airport 2006

November 7, 2006 was a gray, overcast day in Chicago, with temps around fifty degrees. Around four p.m CST, a ramp employee at Chicago O’Hare International was pushing back United Airlines Flight 446 from Gate C17 and spotted a UFO about 1,500 feet overhead. The employee alerted the flight crew and someone on board reputedly snapped digital photos of the object.

The object was disc-shaped, a dark gray, metallic color, about 22-28 feet across, and hovered over Gate C17 for at least five minutes before it accelerated at such an enormous speed that it literally punched a hole in the cloud cover so that blue sky was visible. It was witnessed by pilots, mechanics, and senior managers from United Airlines. Air traffic controllers had a conversation about the sighting, which was later released through a Freedom of Information request by the Chicago Tribune. Hundreds of ordinary citizens saw it. It was, after all, rush hour in Chicago.

Initially, the FAA was mum. And United Airlines denied that any of their employees had reported seeing the disc. Then, on New Year’s Day 2007, Chicago Tribune reporter Jon Hilkevitch, who covers transportation for the newspaper, ran a front page story about the sighting at O’Hare. His lead had come from Peter Davenport of the National UFO Reporting Center, who had received two written reports from witnesses at O’Hare and had posted them on the organization’s website.

Hilkevitch’s story garnered worldwide attention. He interviewed witnesses – credible witnesses, those who are trained to determine that an object is an airplane and not something else. And they were unanimous in their belief that the object they saw was not an airplane. They all said the disc was soundless, that it hovered over the United terminal for about five minutes, and that when it shot away, it punched a hole in the sky.

He was approached by researchers from major universities, hungry for information who had been stonewalled by the government agencies. He had been asked to appear on every major news channel, the media was hungry for whatever he had to say. In leaked footage before an interview on January 1, 2007 with the local CLTV news, Hilkevitch mentioned that United had now reversed their stance and admitted that employees had reported the sightings to them.

But the FAA was sticking to their explanation: It’s a weather phenomenon and they made it clear they wouldn’t investigate any further.

Major media outlets covered this story – MSNBC, ABC, CBS, CNN. Unfortunately, the guy we liked back then – Keith Olbermann – invited astronomer Derrick Pitts of the Franklin Institute to give his take on the event and Pitts basically wrote off the sightings to “holiday cheer.” Gary Tuchman of CNN interviewed “Joe,” a United Airlines employee whose face was shadowed. He said he had worked at O’Hare for awhile, described what he’d said, and stated it was not an airplane not like anything he had ever seen.

The problem, of course, is that none of the mainstream media boys knew how to approach this story.

Leslie Kean, journalist and author of UFOs: Generals, Pilots, and Government Official Go on the Record, revisited the case in her book. “The safety concerns of the United employees with regards to this incursion of restricted airspace were apparently of no concern to the FAA, which is tasked to protect our airspace and aircraft.”

In the video at the top of the post, Kean goes on to dismantle the FAA’s weather phenomenon theory. This woman was Budd Hopkins’ partner toward the end of his life and she knows her stuff. Her book is fascinating. And because she sticks to witnesses that the mainstream considers to be “reputable” – pilots, military personnel, aviation experts – it’s difficult to discount her basic premise: “In the meantime, to many observers of these patterns of denial, the official dereliction of duty regarding credible UFO reports remains almost as incomprehensible as the flying discs themselves.”

Every time I thought I found a video of this sighting, I received a message that the video had been removed by You Tube. I ran across one photo taken from Olbermann’s brief mention of this event, but it’s not too clear. So, in the end, we are left with more questions. And my question is this: If you’re going to hover above one of this country’s busiest airports, why not just land? It’s an airport, dude. Air traffic control will guide you in.

This was taken by Lazlo in Australia yesterday. I have nothing but respect for this man. He works hard almost every day scanning the skies with infrared and normal camcorders and it pays off. He finds some serious UFOs. Take this video for example. He follows the UFO, but its not making a contrail..so its not a jet.

Then the UFO stops near a cloud and decides to cloak itself, because they have telepathic sensors on their ship which alerts them to having been noticed by humans. This sensor can also transmit when they wish, as once stated by actor Dan Aykroyd, that he was woken up early hours, as if being called to come outside, but went back to sleep. This October, there's a Saturn/Neptune conjunction, and we may see some trouble in the stock market, he commented. In 2016, as the Pluto/Uranus conjunction ends, we should be headed into a bull market, he forecast. While it's too early to make solid presidential predictions, he noted that while Hillary Clinton's chart looks strong for 2016, Jeb Bush's does not.

The Ranch is a special place, and I think what James is doing there is great, but I have some questions re what he said about the Annunaki in that last vid.
He says that there are highly evolved, 8thDimensional Annunaki returning to Earth, that they have rid us of the rogue Annunaki including Enki and Enlil who remained here after their mass departure long ago, and that many of us are much too focused on events that occurred 450,000 years ago.
I just have to wonder, assuming this is true, if they are so highly evolved and helpful, why has it taken them so long to come back to undo the harm that has been done?
Were they unaware of what has been going on here since they departed?
Did they feel no sense of responsibility for the suffering their progeny has caused to the inhabitants of this vulnerable planet, until now?
And if so, WHY?
Even if the Annunaki who have been here all along have been removed, their legacy lives on in the minions in power who they have programmed to do their bidding, whether they remain on the planet or not.
It's no wonder that many earthlings are still focused on events that have occurred in the last 450,000 years, since the cause of wars, pollution, mind control, and the myriad other atrocities we are facing now can presumably be traced back to the Annunaki and their continuing influence and presence here.
They may have brought us many advances, but along with that, they brought their greed, insanity and aggression.
I doubt that anyone would be feeling we owe them a debt of gratitude, if what we know of the probable full history of the Annunaki on Earth is taken into consideration, nor will there be much willingness to place trust in them, and understandably so.
It seems kind of late for that.
I'm guessing that Giovanni may have some reservations about this as well, but I thought someone should voice these concerns, which I think are probably shared by many, and would be shared by many more if they were knowledgeable re these issues.

As you know i cannot speak for James, but here is my take ...

In regards to James video statements regarding the Annunaki (in a past and present tense) ... As he said the group of Annunaki that remained earthbound (for all essential purposes) have not acted (behaved) in alignment with the One 'universal law' ... Which (to my understanding) was pre-agreed in terms (with the galactic community) upon their arrival here to mine their planets much needed resource of gold. Note also James stated that these Annunaki who remained here fell (obviously seduced by their own self will) into an ego driven god complex state of being.

Hence commencing the dispute between the two Annunaki groups (on and off planet) into a state of perpetual war ever since... Let us (All) remember that in order for any higher dimensional entity (being) who volunteered (agreed) to descended upon this (once 4D) currently 3D planet... Maintaining a state of higher frequency was (is) a given and a must... Obviously these renegade Annunaki still refuse to reconcile this (their) flaw.

And even though it is most likely (in my opinion) these renegade Annunaki' did enhanced the gene pool of earth's (then) homo-sapien race ... Installing themselves as "god" types over this earth's domain (orchestrating and manifesting their complete controlled and influence over our earthbound human consciousness)... That within itself will be their eventual downfall... For if you believe (as me) in the wheel of karma ... These so called renegade Annunaki (here on earth) will still have to reconcile and deal with their breach (of conduct) with the larger galactic community as a whole ?

Finally ~ as James affirms in his video ... WE ALL (as spirit beings within human bodies) have the great opportunity (again) to forgive love and transcend (from this current sociopathic ego driven system)... Choosing to do anything but that would (in my opinion) be regressive in any spiritual nature.

Certainly true, however, at the risk of "letting the ego in through the back door", forgiveness is one thing, but trusting naively is another....
I hope mankind has had enough experience now at the hands of "gods" to know not to be so gullible.
Our ability to be forgiving, loving and transcendent will always be influenced by those with whom we align ourselves.
I am hopeful that we will encounter and choose better friends than the Annunaki, and find ourselves, as we begin resonating at higher frequencies, more able to discern and choose with wisdom, rather than in enthrallment...to anyone.

Finally ~ as James affirms in his video ... WE ALL (as spirit beings within human bodies) have the great opportunity (again) to forgive love and transcend (from this current sociopathic ego driven system)... Choosing to do anything but that would (in my opinion) be regressive in any spiritual nature.

The sky was in constant motion so I was taking pictures of the clouds rolling in. There were spots of showers coming down in the distance and bolts of lightening and then to the East it was clear blue sky. I was on my patio in my back yard under the patio roof. I took 10 -15 pictures in about 15 - 20 minutes. I was trying to catch a picture of the lightening so I was trying different settings on my camera. When I started to rain I went in, and did not look at he pictures until the next day.

That was when I noticed the one picture with the space ship looking disc in the sky. 2 of them where identical and the third was like it was behind a cloud and was not as distinct and the other 2. I thought how did I not see them when I took the picture yet they are plain as night and day in the picture. Everyone I have showed the picture to believes the same thing, that they were space ships from another planet. My theory is they were not visible to the naked eye and for some reason were picked up by the camera lens. I am going to send you some of the other pictures I took too so you can see how amazing the sky looked that evening.

CHINA has sent a military drone on what is thought to be the first mission of its kind in a significant show of the country’s determination to match America and Japan in the technology of warfare.

Japanese F-15 jet fighters scrambled from a base in Okinawa last Monday to intercept the unmanned aerial vehicle, which turned back towards the Chinese coast.

Although the drone flew in international airspace, officials in Tokyo said it had entered Japan’s air defence identification zone. Last year Japan scrambled its fighters more than 300 times to intercept Chinese military aircraft.

The Japanese defence ministry later released aerial pictures of the craft as it circled about 100 miles north of the disputed Senkaku Islands, known as the Diaoyu in China.

Aviation specialists identified it as a medium-range drone codenamed BZK-005. Capable of flying for 40 hours at 26,000ft, it is part of an expanding fleet ...

David Attenborough believes that the Yeti – or Abominable Snowman – may be real.

The world-renowned naturalist and broadcaster says he thinks the creature of Himalayan legend – which has a North American cousin known as Bigfoot or Sasquatch – could be much more than a myth.

“I believe the Abominable Snowman may be real. I think there may be something in that," said Attenborough, speaking today at a showcase of upcoming programmes on UKTV.

“There are footprints that stretch for hundreds of miles and we know that in the 1930’s a German fossil was found with these huge molars that were four or five times the size of human molars.

“They had to be the molars of a large ape, one that was huge, about 10 or 12 feet tall. It was immense. And it is not impossible that it might exist. If you have walked the Himalayas there are these immense rhododrendron forests that go on for hundreds of square miles which could hold the Yeti."

Attenborough, who was addressing an audience at the Saatchi Gallery to promote a second series of Natural Curiosities on the Eden channel, explained why the existence of the beast had not been proven up until now: “If there are some still alive and you walked near their habitat you can bet that these creatures may be aware of you, but you wouldn’t be aware of them.”

In an interview with Radio Times published today, the 87-year-old naturalist and broadcaster also reveals that even though he had a pacemaker fitted in June, he will never slow down his work commitments.

He says of the medical procedure: “It was no big deal. When you’re in your 80s, your heart gives you a funny five minutes every now and again and they won’t insure you unless you have a cardiologist to say that you can go on a long-haul flight. So I had to have the pacemaker.”

Sir David says he has also had a knee replaced last year – and is equally blasé about that operation.

Yesterday while rinsing an outside bowl used for fresh water for our house hold friends, i noticed (again) a white film around the edges of the bowl's lip... Note we rinse it out (twice) daily and refill, but upon rinsing the bowl out it has rendered up a bubbly and sudsy residue substance again ?

This effect appears to only happen when this phenomena occurs in our over head skies ... For the last two days of heavy spraying, everyone in the family has had some sort of respiratory complaint ... young and old ... No colds or flu ... Just problems like sore throats, dried sinus's, whizzing and upset stomachs ?

My intuition tells me there are no real benefits to any life form on this planet via this spraying atrocity !

World Turmoil & Giants

Author and researcher Steve Quayle returned to the show to discuss a variety of topics including world events, orchestrations of the Illuminati, and his investigation into the mysteries of giants and fallen angels. He spoke about the upcoming GridEx II, an emergency drill involving a simulated shutdown of the power grid and the Internet. Behind the scenes, particularly in the financial sector, he said he's heard things that don't add up about the drill, and expressed concern that the event might be used as a guise to carry out covert plans.

He suggested that a number of terrorist attacks such as the 7/7/05 London bombing occurred during a false flag event. Quayle said it's critical for people to recognize a false flag event, which he described as when a person or group creates an problem and then provides a solution which yields their desired result. Regarding the situation in Syria, he lamented that the US was supporting the rebels, because many of them are al Qaeda.

Quayle offered details about fragments of a giant skeleton that were found in Ecuador at a site named "Changaiminas" which translates from Spanish as "cemetery of the gods." A reconstruction of the fragments using a computer model was said to yield a human skeleton 7-times the size of a modern man, and 'spiritual archaeologist' Klaus Dona was involved in the research. Quayle remarked that giants are currently being reanimated and called forth.

Chemtrails Update

First hour guest, investigative journalist William Thomas shared updates on chemtrails. Though it was Thomas who first coined the word "chemtrails," he's now started to refer to the phenomenon as atmospheric aerosols or geoengineering, terms that have more credence in the scientific world. "We have admissions from a senior FAA air traffic control manager and radar technicians that there are US air force tankers leaving reflective particles in the sky," he said. Thomas believes that the US' geoengineering program has two ongoing aspects-- there's a military application for communications and communication disruption, and a climate modification plan involving the spraying of aerosols to stave off global warming.

Three years ago i received an invitation (a calling) to move out west ... my first stop landed me down in Arizona at what was to be my first encounter within an earthy vortex grid... Next i moved to Trout Lake and had numerous experienes at the Eceti Ranch ... i just recently moved to another one of this unique locations a top a small mountain near Spokane Washington ... The property was previously owned by the Catholic Church's Jesuit Order and the US government just happens to have a presence close by ... My experiences with this phenomena continues ...

If anyone doubts the complicity between the mainstream media and the titans of finance, one simply needed to watch Meet The Press with David Gregory yesterday. The seven plus minute segment started with David Gregory stating the obvious: An economy five years ago that was on the brink of collapse is now a high flying economy for the 1 percent and on the brink of collapse for the working middle class.

His guests were then-Secretary of Treasury and past CEO of Goldman Sachs Henry Paulson, CNBC mouthpiece and apologist Maria Bartiromo, and ex-Congressman Barney Frank. Most of the segment was the standard blabber of nonsensical statements on the economy.

There was Paulson stating that the economy is recovering but at a slow pace. He attempted to attribute that to a tax system that needed revamping. Ironically that is true but for a reason different than what Paulson would agree with. The economy needs a tax system that extracts more from those hoarding unearned money from capital manipulation that is not recirculated in the economy in the form of wages and reinvests it into the real drivers of the economy, the working middle class.

After Gregory enumerates the false excuses given by the titans of finance, the hoarders of America’s capital, he asks the important question: “Did Wall Street win in all of this?” Wall Street’s most verbose apologists immediately deflected. Maria Bartiromo said that we needed to get beyond the conversation of whether Wall Street or the bankers are evil. She said we need to talk about how you create sustainable growth. She said that would answer the issue of inequality because with growth comes jobs.

That was the most disingenuous answer possible. First, if one defines evil as knowingly harming a fellow human being, then evil correctly defines bankers and Wall Street. Secondly, of all the jobs that are being created or that would be created, the wages are normalized because of policies that allow outsourcing and because of the decline of the power of unions. In other words, the American worker is working for less and with little recourse or representation. This increases profits for the titans of capital which adds to income and wealth disparity even further. The American worker has not benefitted from their increased productivity. It has almost entirely gone to the top 1 percent.

The zinger of the segment however came from Barney Frank’s comment about the bankers. He said:

I do want to add one thing though to your question about those poor beleaguered bankers who have been forced to do so much to keep from not being able to pay their debts, that they can’t lend money. If they really are running businesses that are so stressed that they can’t do their basic work, why are they paying themselves so much money?

That statement left Bartiromo, Paulson and Gregory temporarily speechless with facial expressions that said it all. They were trapped and unable to speak to acknowledge the fact laid out by Frank. Their enslavement to the plutocracy was evident. Gregory had a nervous laugh as Bartiromo again deflected.

Scott Fahlman, computer scientist and typography genius, invented the smiley emoticon. But today's ubiquitous smiley had a few precursors. One involved a tongue, and the other involved Ambrose Bierce. Pick your favorite.

In 1982, Scott Fahlman decided to help computer users out by inventing a little sign that could let others know when they were joking. The smiley, :-), has taken the sting out of many a remark, and many variations of it have been dreamed up and circulated in tedious chain emails throughout the nineteen-nineties. Fahlman deserves credit for what is, in the end, a useful invention, but he wasn't the first to have the general idea.

Earlier versions have not been as visually or dramatically effective. A Reader's Digest contributor in 1967 reported that her aunt invented a sign, -), denoting a tongue being stuck in a cheek. She would put it after each tongue-in-cheek remark she made during a letter.

But a more notable, and much earlier, version of a smiley was invented by none other than Ambrose Bierce. Ambrose Bierce gained fame in the early nineteen hundreds for being a writer and a jerk, in (just barely) that order. He's most well-known for publishing The Devil's Dictionary, a comic dictionary that featured joke definitions. The book's definition of "felon" is, "a person of greater enterprise than discretion, who in embracing an opportunity has formed an unfortunate attachment." Its definition of "befriend" is "to make an ingrate."

Bierce suggested that people use a "snigger point," rendered as \_/, to let other people know when they were joking. Since Bierce wasn't making a suggestion, and generally sent the idea around as an unsubtle message to people he thought didn't "get" his humor, he missed out on a great idea. Given his motto - "Nothing matters" - it probably wouldn't break his heart to know that."

Don't know if this had been posted somewhere before, but I thought it really interesting:

Giant Indian Head discovered on Google Earth, in Canada.

When looking at Canada using Google Earth (free program) I found an area of land that resembles the shape of a face. Now this is not hills and mountains that formed a face, this is a face that formed the hills and mountains. Look, I SCW made the video so I apologize for its crudeness or lack of intro or music, but I like it plain and simple. The face shows a proud face of a male who looks to be in his late 20s or early 30s. There is a crown like object upon his head or even may be a headdress for a chief, but that would mean the Canadian indians in the area re direct descendants of an alien species. Is this all just coincidence? I think not. Look for these places to confirm is made on purpose by an intelligent species, not necessarily humans.

I'm very familiar with Pareidolia. But to be perfectly honest, IF this this is not a hoax, (ie, a visual overlay or something, and not something that is actually there on Google Earth - I dont have the prog so can't check right now) then I do not believe that this is Pareidolia, or any kind of natural phenomenon, such as a fluke of erosion, but something real, and deliberately created. Check the short youtube and see for yourself. I'd be interested to learn if anyone has more info on this particular case.

The History of Sealand

The Principality of Sealand is a unique little micronation with a colorful history. Located six miles off the eastern shores of Britain, it is one of four Maunsell Naval Sea Forts deployed by Britain during World War 2. It was originally called Roughs Tower, and was was used to monitor and report German minelaying in the waters off England. During the war, it was home to 150-300 personnel, radar equipment, two 6-inch guns, and two 40mm anti-aircraft autocannons. But after being abandoned by the Royal Navy in 1956, this artificial island on the high seas has been the site of a pirate radio landing pad, a takeover, a controversial declaration of independence, a coup, and it's own miniature war... Ed Davis, Police Commissioner That Led Boston Marathon Bombing Response, Resigns

BOSTON — Boston Police Commissioner Edward Davis, who led his department's response to the Boston Marathon bombing, is stepping down, a department spokeswoman said Sunday.

Davis gave his resignation to Mayor Thomas Menino and will hold a news conference Monday to discuss his future plans, police spokeswoman Cheryl Fiandaca said.

The decision by Davis to step down is perhaps not surprising. Boston is poised to have a new mayor for the first time in two decades after Menino opted not to seek another term.

A statement from Menino's office thanked Davis for his "tremendous work over the past seven years" and promised to work with Davis to ensure a smooth transition when new mayor finds a permanent successor.

Davis was thrust into the national spotlight on April 15 when twin explosions near the marathon finish line killed three people and wounded more than 260.

Along with Menino and Gov. Deval Patrick, Davis ordered a daylong, city-wide lockdown after the two bombing suspects were involved in a shootout with police.

Once suspect died following the gun battle, a second was later taken into custody and is awaiting trial.

Delivering the commencement address at the University of Massachusetts Lowell a month later, Davis said the bombing taught him much about police work – and the resiliency of human beings.

"I learned to think the unthinkable," Davis said. "I learned that the most horrific of circumstances can produce the most inspirational and heroic of actions, not just by one single person, but by hundreds of them."

Davis, 57, was appointed Boston's top cop by Menino in 2006. He previously served as the Lowell, Mass., superintendent of police.

Davis' departure comes just as the race to replace Menino kicks into high gear. A preliminary election on Tuesday will whittle a dozen candidates down to two for the Nov. 5 election.

While searching through NASA photos, I came across this Bat like UFO in the Mercury Mission MA-7 photos. This missions goals was to make 3 earths orbits before coming home. It was launched on May 22, 1962. We are looking at a very balanced looking craft from the top view. It stands out a lot from the clouds far below it. If you don't believe me, please check the NASA source in the link above. The coloration of the UFO is white to match the clouds for anyone looking up...but stands out because it so far above the clouds. SCW

Motorola dropped some jaws this week, when Advanced Technology and Projects Group chief Regina Dugan revealed the company’s tinkering on digital tattoos, week-long implanted electronics that could free you from the tyranny of remembering passwords. Dugan – a former DARPA head – described the tattoo as perfect for a wearables market targeting users that don’t actually bother wearing watches any more, instead turning the body into a walking authentication token. She also namechecked mc10, a company not unfamiliar to SlashGear, as the brains behind the flexible tattoo-tech, but just what’s inside?

Cambridge, MA, based mc10 calls the tattoo “epidermal electronics”, and has in fact been working on the concept for some years now. The idea is relatively straightforward: rather than rely on the user carrying a device, or remembering to strap one on each morning, the technology is temporarily bonded to their skin.

That bond has another advantage, since the responses of the wearer’s skin can also be used to collect health data. The tattoo is made up of various sensors and gages, such as for tracking strain in multiple directions (how the user is flexing), EEG and EMG (electrical impulses in the skeletal structure or nerves), ECG (heart activity), and temperature, as well as light and other factors. In total, it’s a mini-lab for your arm, the side of your head, or anywhere else on the body.

Like NFC chips, the mc10 epidermal electronics get powered up from an external electricity source, using the embedded wireless power coil. It’s a similar system to the wireless phone charging Nokia and others have implemented in recent handsets, and it powers the tattoo’s transmitter. That’s all layered onto a sheet of water-soluble plastic that gets laminated to the skin; in fact, it can even be disguised with a regular temporary tattoo pattern, opening the door to potential branding and such.

Once they’re in place, they’re incredibly resilient. The tightly coiled structure of the electronics means that, even if the tattoo is stretched or twisted, the connections won’t break. It’s also waterproof, which means that even if you’re swimming or in the shower, the tattoo won’t be affected.

However, epidermal electronics don’t just have to stop at being biometric keys for your laptop and your Netflix account. Studies using the technology have found that they can also track muscle movements around speech, when applied to the throat, potentially turning the tattoos into half of a wireless hands-free kit. Since you don’t actually have to speak out loud, it could pick up sub-vocal commands, too. Alternatively, they can even track brain signals with enough accuracy to control a computer, which might mean simply thinking about making a call and having your nearby smartphone place it. Similar sensors have been used to fly remote-control planes and drones, something mc10 is working on replicating with its more compact tattoos.

They were some of the possibilities mc10 co-founder Ben Schlatka spoke to us about last year, when we talked to him about the advantages of persistent sensing. The company is also working with the US army on embedded electronics in battlefield clothing, which could collect energy and convert it into electricity to power the gadgets soldiers carry.

“Imagine a kids’ fake tattoo that can sense how our bodies work: data from the heart, the brain, muscles, body temperature – even hydration levels,” Schlatka told us. “When a sensing technology conforms to the consumer and not the other way around, it can capture more insights for longer periods of time without discomfort or distraction.”

Motorola isn’t the only company intrigued. Back in April, mc10 announced it had closed a new $8m financing round, taking the company’s total Series C funding to $18m. Exactly which investors have come on-board is yet to be confirmed, though mc10 did say that it now has backers across its consumer, digital health, and medical devices divisions.

Whether Motorola will actually release a wearable using mc10 technology remains to be seen; the Google-owned company still needs to prove it has a solid foot in the smartphone market, though the new Moto X could address that. Still, it’s clear that the digital tattoo is capable of further breaking down the boundary between users and their devices. If Motorola can leverage that, alongside Google’s own ongoing research into wearables like Glass, it could be the differentiator the company needs from the increasingly crowded Android market, not to mention finally silencing the critics who doubted the wisdom of the smartphone company’s acquisition in the first place.

The No to Vaccination movement is given a great boost by UNICEF who - by sharing its report on the key informers and influencers behind the trend to not vaccinate children - has unwittingly exposed its own agenda.

Dr. Sherri Tenpenny was targeted in a UNICEF report on how parents are choosing to not vaccinate their children in eastern Europe. The studied web sites and social media to determine who is leading opposition to inoculations.

The study also aims to answer the questions of why parents are refusing vaccinations. Which concerns are greatest in the minds of those refusing inoculations was also addressed.

The working paper states parents are using social media to determine whether or not to inoculate their children. Blogs were also found to be a major resource for people critical of vaccine safety or effectiveness.

Analysis of Internet traffic related to inoculations was extensive. UNICEF was able to track keyword strings, volume of traffic, how the data was shared and more.

Critics charge the study tagged any group posting material critical of even a single medicine as "anti-vaccine."

The UNICEF report lead with a quote from Mark Twain "A lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes" Eluding that the vaccine information provided by Dr. Tenpenny was untrue

The reported identified several people groups they say lead opposition to widespread inoculations.

One of these is Doctor Sherri Tenpenny, a medical doctor and researcher who has often been critical of vaccinations. Doctor Tenpenny is also an author, having written books concerning the hazards associated with vaccines.

She is our guest on the show today. Doctor Tenpenny will talk to us about the UNICEF program and respond tot he hit report.

“Free Flow of Information Act” Targets Independent Journalism 15

The fact that the US Senate is now defining what a journalist actually is sets a dangerous precedent threatening the present marketplace of ideas that in recent history has been greatly expanded by the internet.

According to the text of an amendment sponsored by Senators Diane Feinstein and Dick Durbin to the proposed “Free Flow of Information Act” (PDF) that passed the Senate Judiciary Committee on September 12, only salaried journalists will be given the free press protections guaranteed to all US citizens by the Constitution.

Under such a law presumably only the news reporters and analysts employed by moderate-to-substantial revenue-generating news entities are regarded as “legitimate” journalists. This is because the Feinstein-Durbin amendment’s wording is especially vague on exactly what type of news organization the writer needs to be affiliated with to be able to comment and report freely.

The major concern with this move is twofold. First, it is fundamentally unconstitutional. The First Amendment unambiguously states that

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

If such legislation achieves passage free speech will be diminished as thousands of independent journalists conducting valid research into a variety of malfeasance and corruption by major institutions may be open to government subpoenas and legal action by those they investigate and report on. Further, such a law paves the way for Congress to formally license journalists, which is close to happening in the United Kingdom.

Secondly, this measure involves more than an oblique targeting of alternative news media and the extremely important work they do. As their coverage and analysis of incidents such as the Boston Marathon bombings and the unfolding Syrian crisis suggest, independent news websites have played significant roles in helping the public to better comprehend the underlying political dynamics and import of such events.

With this Constitutional framework in mind, acts of journalism indeed extend to all forms of political speech, for humans are by their very nature political beings. The ability to accurately observe our world and its many confusing facets can only be arrived at through an often discordant multitude of voices, information, and perspectives that comprise a free marketplace of ideas.

In the first half, author and journalist Jim Marrs talked about suppressed stories and conspiracies. He detailed secretive arms deals that the US and other countries conduct. Mars spoke about the JFK assassination, noting that both J. Edgar Hoover and LBJ were involved in suppression, alteration, and fabrication of evidence. He also reviewed Planet X or Nibiru theories, noting that there is possible evidence for an unknown planet in our solar system, based on odd orbits of remote asteroids.

In the latter half, former commodities trader and self described "gorilla economist," "V," argued that a group of 15-17 ultra wealthy families (whose worth is in the trillions) seek to manipulate global events to increase their power, and that of the banking system. Yet, while the banking cartels have accelerated their plan to erode the US Constitution, V suggested that they've underestimated the ingenuity of the average American, and the spread of free information via the Internet and certain media outlets. Within the next year, he foresees the cartels trying to use a "slow bleed" to bring the US economy to collapse with "stagflation" – high unemployment, rising prices, and zero growth.

New Never Before Seen Footage Of 9/11 Will Give You Chills

A new video surfaced on the internet and arrived just after the anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks. According to liveleak.com, the video features "never before seen footage in NYC on 9/11."

Some of the clips seem unquestionably accurate. These include shots of the thoroughly dusty streets that only explosions of 9/11's magnitude could create. Others feature confusing dialogue. We don't always see the speakers' faces, rendering subtitles necessary.

The video begins with a distant, fleeting shot of one of the towers after they was hit. Thick dark smoke poured steadily from the sides and top. The rest of the 14 minutes jumps from shot to shot of peoples' reactions to the explosions.

In some of the more chaotic scenes, commentary ranges from "Go home, go home!" to "It's terrorists attacks, it's terrorist attacks! They're blowing up the building!"

Other clips feature interviews with New Yorkers, some bewildered at the idea that the towers no longer stand while others wonder at the validity of the attacks and throw around speculations such as "inside job."

It's unclear as to whether or not the footage was compiled using various cameras, or how any of this footage was even acquired.

The results were published today in Science as one article in a five-paper special section on the Curiosity mission. Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Dean of Science Laurie Leshin is the study's lead author.

"One of the most exciting results from this very first solid sample ingested by Curiosity is the high percentage of water in the soil," said Leshin. "About 2 percent of the soil on the surface of Mars is made up of water, which is a great resource, and interesting scientifically." The sample also released significant carbon dioxide, oxygen, and sulfur compounds when heated...

NSA, Solar Patterns, UFO Radar, & Animal Mutilations

Investigative reporter Linda Moulton Howe discussed the recent release of previously classified NSA documents in response to an ACLU Freedom of Information Act request concerning surveillance, unusual solar patterns, an "impossible" UFO radar track, and mysterious cases of animal mutilations. The released NSA documents revealed that the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISA) made rulings which were highly critical of the NSA, and the judges said that not only had the NSA violated its own rules and the law, but had repeatedly misled the FISA court judges. Linda spoke with Gregory Nojeim, Senior Counsel and Director, Project on Freedom, Security and Technology for the Center for Democracy and Technology in Washington, D.C. who believes that these kind of disclosures may add impetus for legislative changes both in how the FISA Court works, as well as setting limits on the NSA's surveillance of US citizens. In her second report, she noted how the sun has been nearly free of sunspots when it should be at the height of its solar maximum intensity. In her interview with NASA solar physicist David Hathaway, he remarked that we're experiencing the weakest solar maximum in at least 100 years and that current data suggests that a spotless period could follow, similar to the Maunder Minimum of the 1700s. Though this might slow the warming of the Earth, it's unlikely to create a "little ice age," he said. Further info.

Retired Teton County, Montana Sheriff John "Pete" Howard spoke with Linda in her third and fourth segments. Teton is not far from Great Falls where the U.S. had a large underground network of Minuteman missiles. Howard said he saw a hovering UFO that produced a radar record that astounded the U.S. Air Force Colonel he was working with, followed by a dramatic encounter with government agents, who absconded with the radar scroll. Howard also talked about witnessing mutilated animals that veterinarians confirmed had missing internal organs without any excisions to the animal's body, implying the use of an unknown technology. There were also unusual cases where it became clear the dead, mutilated bodies had to have been placed by something able to lift and lower the heavy bodies. More.

Planet X Update

First hour guest, author and publisher Marshall Masters shared updates about Planet X, which he believes is an inbound object in our solar system that is actually more like a mini-constellation, with a brown dwarf sun at the center. He contends that there's been a deliberate effort to suppress information about Planet X's arrival, and that Robert Harrington, a former chief astronomer of the U.S. Naval Observatory, died before he could publicize what he knew about Planet X. Masters suggested we could see some kind of major effect by the end of this year which will scare people and wake them up to the reality of Planet X.

Evolutionary biologists consider humans to be an unevolving species. Some time in the last fifty thousand years, with the invention of culture, the biological evolution of humans ceased and evolution became an epigenetic, cultural phenomenon. Tools, languages, and philosophies began to evolve, but the human somatotype remained the same.

Hence, physically, we are very much like people of a long time ago. But technology is the real skin of our species. Humanity, correctly seen in the context of the last five hundred years, is an extruder of technological material. We take in matter that has a low degree of organization; we put it through mental filters, and we extrude jewelry, gospels, space shuttles. This is what we do.

We are like coral animals embedded in a technological reef of extruded psychic objects. All our tool making implies our belief in an ultimate tool. That tool is the flying saucer, or the soul, exteriorized in three-dimensional space.

The body can become an internalized holographic object embedded in a solid-state, hyperdimensional matrix that is eternal, so that we each wander through a true Elysium.

This is a kind of Islamic paradise in which one is free to experience all the pleasures of the flesh provided one realizes that one is a projection of a holographic solid-state matrix that is microminiaturized, superconducting, and nowhere to be found: it is part of the plenum.

All technological history is about producing prototypes of this situation with greater and greater closure toward the ideal, so that airplanes, automobiles, space shuttles, space colonies, starships of the nuts-and-bolts, speed-of-light type are, as Mircea Eliade said, "self-transforming images of flight that speak volumes about man's aspiration to self-transcendence."

Our wish, our salvation, and our only hope is to end the historical crisis by becoming the alien, by ending alienation, by recognizing the alien as the Self, in fact - recognizing the alien as an Overmind that holds all the physical laws of the planet intact in the same way that one holds an idea intact in one's thoughts.

The givens that are thought to be writ in adamantine are actually merely the moods of the Goddess, whose reflection we happen to be. The whole meaning of human history lies in recovering this piece of lost information so that man may be dirigible

.......This is not to suggest that everyone should experiment with mushrooms or other naturally occurring sources of psychoactive tryptamines. We should try to assimilate and integrate the psychedelic experience since it is a plane of experience that is directly accessible to each of us. The role that we play in relationship determines how we will present ourselves in that final, intimated transformation.

In other words, in this notion there is a kind of teleological bias; there is a belief that there is a hyperobject called the Overmind, or God, that casts a shadow into time. History is our group experience of this shadow. As one draws closer and closer to the source of the shadow, the paradoxes intensify, the rate of change intensifies. What is happening is that the hyperobject is beginning to ingress into three-dimensional space.

One way of thinking of this is to suppose that the waking world and the world of the dream have begun to merge so that in a certain sense the school of UFO criticism that has said flying sources are hallucinations was correct in that the laws that operate in the dream, the laws that operate in hyperspace, can at times operate in three-dimensional space when the barrier between the two modes becomes weak.

Then one gets these curious experiences, sometimes called psychotic breaks, that always have a tremendous impact on the experiment because there seems to be an exterior component that could not possibly be subjective. At such times coincidences begin to build and build until one must finally admit that one does not know what is going on.

Nevertheless, it is preposterous to claim that this is a psychological phenomenon, because there are accompanying changes in the external world. Jung called this synchronicity and made a psychological model of it, but it is really an alternative physics beginning to impinge on local reality.

The alternative physics is a physics of light. Light is composed of photons, which have no antiparticle. This means that there is no dualism in the world of light. The conventions of relativity say that time slows down as one approaches the speed of light, but if one tries to imagine the point of view of a thing made of light, one must realize that what is never mentioned is that if one moves at the speed of light there is no time whatsoever.

There is an experience of time zero. So if one imagines for a moment oneself to be made of light, or in possession of a vehicle that can move at the speed of light, one can traverse from any point in the universe to any other with a subjective experience of time zero.

This means that one crosses to Alpha Centauri in time zero, but the amount of time that has passed in the relativistic universe is four and a half years. But if one moves very great distances, if one crosses two hundred and fifty thousand light-years to Andromeda, one would still have a subjective experience of time zero.

At 14:55, Terrence McKenna talks about using hallucinogens and extraterrestrial contact as part of human relationship with the "other".
