This UFO was discovered in a NASA photo which was shared from them to ASU (Arizona State University) for research purposes. These photos seem to have less editing than the ones they post to the net for the public to see. This UFO appears to be unique in the way that its unlike anything I have seen before other than the Apollo 20 UFO in Deporte crater...yeah, I reported about Apollo 20 mission 6 years before the movie or book ever came out. I have about 400 New York best seller authors following me on Facebook so I guess one of them stole the idea. I wrote a chapter about the Apollo 20 mission in my book "UFO Sightings of 2006-2009," published back in 2009. SCW

The military was too vague in their claiming that the sighting was caused by them. If it really had been them a more detailed explanation would have been given. For instance what aircraft were causing it, the number of soldiers involved, bases involved, and so on. They didn't therefore this is a cover up. Also, in the photo I enhanced the image and found another UFO that was not visible to the naked eye. SCW

News states:
KIMA looked into it and found out a lot of you were also getting in touch with the UFO Center. Calls came in from Yakima, Zillah, Toppenish and Sunnyside.

We got some answers from the Yakima Training Center. The center says the lights were coming from some military exercises.

"There were a lot of people, the whole block was outside and lined up you know. At first everyone was like, kind of had the same reaction, 'oh no way it's this, that'", said JR who watched the whole event.

The Yakima Training Center says the lights were either coming from illumination rounds or military beacons that can reflect light when it's foggy. - KIMA.

White House Ghosts Continue Working During US Government Shutdown

The US Government shut down at the beginning of October while political parties argue over policy leaving many government employees wondering when their next regular paycheck will come, but to best of our knowledge, the shutdown has not affected the half dozen or more ghosts reportedly haunting the White House halls.

The home of the US president is known for its historical hauntings as much as it is known for being the place where political decisions are made. At least a dozen people have died in the White House since its completion around 1800, including two presidents and several presidential family members. Several of those who died at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue are allegedly haunting it to this day, as are several others with White House connections including David Burnes, the man whose property was taken in 1790 so it could be built... An abandoned, believed haunted, NASA launch site you can actually visit

Launch Complex-34 is a decommissioned launch site at Cape Canaveral believed to be haunted by the ghosts of three astronauts who tragically died there on January 27, 1967. Astronauts Gus Grissom, Ed White, and Roger Chaffee perished almost instantly after a fire completely engulfed their Apollo I capsule.

The launch complex broke ground in 1960 and served as the launch site for the Apollo program's launching of Saturn I and IB rockets through 1968. The Apollo I capsule was being tested for launch when the tragedy occurred. To this day, some NASA employees and visitors to the abandoned launch pad have claimed to hear screams and an overall dark feeling when near the pad. According to local lore, at one point NASA even stopped allowing visitors to the site due to "strange occurrences." Today you can pay your respects on an official bus tour.


UPDATE: Due to the government shutdown, the bus tours are closed until further notice. But the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is still open during regular operating hours.

Aerospace Company Develops Drone That Can Fly Continuously For 5 Years

MORIARTY, N.M. (CBS Las Vegas) — An aerospace company has presented its design “atmospheric satellites” that fly at 65,000 feet and provide drone-like services such as live-mapping and monitoring narcotics trafficking.

Titan Aerospace recently offered the Solara series of such drones: which can fly continuously for nearly five years, charging its own battery high above commercial aircraft through the use of solar power. The larger Solara will be 60 meters wide and have the ability to carry about 250 pounds.

Cruising speed for the Solara is about 65 mph, and the unmanned craft will have an operating range of over 2.8 million miles...

Power surges 'cripple NSA data centre'

Electrical supply problems at a National Security Agency data centre have delayed its opening by a year, reports the Wall Street Journal.

Power surges at the giant Utah centre had ruined equipment costing almost a million dollars, it said.

The technical problems had also led to lengthy investigations that had meant its opening date had been pushed back.

The Utah plant is one of three the NSA is building to boost its data gathering and surveillance capabilities.

Over the past 13 months, 10 separate electrical surges have occurred at the data centre in Bluffdale, Utah, according to the Wall Street Journal (WSJ), which is reported to have cost $1.4bn (£872m) to build.

Each surge had burnt out and wrecked about $100,000 worth of computers and other equipment, it said.

The Bluffdale facility is more than one million sq ft (93,000 sq m) in size and its power costs are expected to top $1m (£622,000) a month, according to the WSJ.

The NSA had been supposed to start using the data storage and analysis centre in October 2012, it said, but this had been delayed by the damage caused by the power surges and a six-month investigation into their cause.

The WSJ added it had seen technical documents indicating experts called in to find out the cause had rowed over whether the problem had been fixed.

It said civil contractors were confident the problem had been solved but a special US Army engineer investigation team had said the cause was "not yet sufficiently understood" to be sure that it would not happen again.

The amount of surveillance that the NSA carries out has come under scrutiny in recent months thanks to whistleblower Edward Snowden.

He leaked documents allegedly detailing its activities including the Prism programme that garners data from web firms including Google, Facebook, Microsoft and Yahoo.

In addition, the NSA has been found to be gathering data on phone calls made by US citizens.

Note as you should (already) know i cannot personally answer your questions in regards to the author's (Nick Redfern) posted article here (http://mysteriousuniverse.org/2013/10/where-are-the-ufos/) ... But i will say Nick is an excellent writer, who i admire very much and who is well known in the areas of ufology and cryptozoology (the study of hidden animal lifeforms) ... And i will also say i posted this (his) article, because i happen to agree with the main thrust of what he is expressing within the article ... For i have seen and met my fair share of individuals who "strut around flaunting their egos like pompous peacocks, and engage in petty and pointless arguments" ... And as far as his statement and your question "Even today’s reports of abductions don’t come anywhere near the figures of the 1980s and early 1990s." (not sure that is factual?)" i tend to agree with his abduction assessment as well ... For Nick's (documentation) is well respected in regards to his (own) fact finding in details ... And most importantly to myself (and from my own experience in talking with numerous witnesses (so called abductees)... i tend to agree that the majority of reported abduction cases most often seems to have occurred prior to the year 2000 ?

Choices & the Mind

A doctor of psychology and metaphysics, Eldon Taylor, discussed choices people make, and the mental processes behind them. What goes into our life decisions isn't always authentic or original, and can stem from messages in culture and the media, he noted. Research shows that some 90% of our decisions are made from the subconscious mind, he said, and "there's a script going on in our subconscious, and that script includes some self-serving biases," which have a foundation that's built out of our habits. Sometimes we make decisions out of anger, or the result of compensatory or compliance mechanisms. For instance, if someone gives you a gift, you feel like you owe them something.

"People get stuck because they see implicit boundaries, they see limitations when limitations aren't there, and we began that process when we're really very young," Taylor remarked. In our world, there's so much disenchantment, anxiety, and uncertainty, that "I think the most important thing you can do today is bring people's attention to the fact that they don't have to live that way," he continued. There are simple things people can do to empower themselves to deal with whatever circumstances they encounter in a healthy, happy way.

By becoming mindful of our limiting beliefs, and "self talk," we can work past illusory ways of thought, and reach higher potentials, he suggested. Dr. Taylor offers a set of subliminal programs called "InnerTalk" to help people re-program problematic patterns and behaviors. But one way to immediately improve one's well being is to start helping other people. By making a difference in the lives of other people, you quickly find merit in your own life, he suggested.

Federal Reserve & US Economy

First hour guest, webmaster, activist, and talk show host Michael Rivero spoke about the state of the US economy, its monetary system, and the Federal Reserve. Regarding whether the debt ceiling should be raised, there's a fundamental question behind that-- "if the Constitution gives to the US government the authority to make and issue public currency without interest, why for the last 100 years has the US government borrowed all the public currency at interest from a privately owned central bank?" he asked. The historical irony is that America fought a revolution to be free from this kind of predatory banking, Rivero added. He believes that a major crash of the US banking system is an inevitability, and people should be prepared.

Scientist foresees lab-made alien species

The scientist who led the effort to map the human genome says we'll soon be able to use 3D printers to create alien life forms right here on Earth.

In his new book Life at the Speed of Light: From the Double Helix to the Dawn of Digital Life, John Craig Venter says if a space probe encountered extra-terrestrial life, it wouldn't necessarily need to bring it back to Earth for study.

"The day is not far off when we will be able to send a robotically controlled genome sequencing unit to other planets to read the DNA sequence of any alien microbe life that may be there," writes Dr Venter.

"If we can beam them back to Earth we should be able to reconstruct their genomes. The synthetic version of a Martian genome could then be used to recreate Martian life on Earth."

If this is possible, says Dr Venter, so is the reverse – alien societies could use printers to make synthetic human beings.

Another application of constructing life in the lab would be making synthetic biofuels and disease-resistant crops, as well as modifying human genes to extend lifespans and increase brainpower.

Dr Venter's company was the first to create synthetic life, successfully implanting lab-made DNA into a bacterial cell and getting it to reproduce.

"My greatest fear is not the abuse of technology but that we will not use it at all," he writes in the book.

Elephants are such amazing creatures.
I saw this on Facebook today and posted it on the Beautiful Nature Pics thread, but I think everyone should see it if they haven't already. so I'll post it here as well.

THE ELEPHANT'S JOURNEY TO PAY RESPECT, BUT HOW DID THEY KNOW?

Lawrence Anthony, a legend in South Africa and author of 3 books including the bestseller, The Elephant Whisperer. He bravely rescued wildlife and rehabilitated elephants all over the globe from human atrocities, including the courageous rescue of Baghdad Zoo animals during US invasion in 2003.

On March 7, 2012 Lawrence Anthony died.
He is remembered and missed by his wife, 2 sons, 2 grandsons, and numerous elephants.

Two days after his passing, the wild elephants showed up at his home led by two large matriarchs. Separate wild herds arrived in droves to say goodbye to their beloved 'man-friend'. A total of 31 elephants had patiently walked over 12 miles to get to his South African House.

Witnessing this spectacle, humans were obviously in awe not only
because of the supreme intelligence and precise timing that these
elephants sensed about Lawrence's passing, but also because of
the profound memory and emotion the beloved animals evoked
in such an organized way: Walking slowly, for days, making their way in a solemn one-by-one queue from their habitat to his house. Lawrence's wife, Francoise, was especially touched, knowing that the elephants had not been to his house prior to that day for well over 3 years!

But yet they knew where they were going. The elephants obviously wanted to pay their deep respects, honoring their friend who'd saved their lives - so much respect that they stayed for 2 days 2 nights without eating anything.

Then one morning, they left, making their long journey back home.

Note as you should (already) know i cannot personally answer your questions in regards to the author's (Nick Redfern) posted article here (http://mysteriousuniverse.org/2013/10/where-are-the-ufos/) ... But i will say Nick is an excellent writer, who i admire very much and who is well known in the areas of ufology and cryptozoology (the study of hidden animal lifeforms) ... And i will also say i posted this (his) article, because i happen to agree with the main thrust of what he is expressing within the article ... For i have seen and met my fair share of individuals who "strut around flaunting their egos like pompous peacocks, and engage in petty and pointless arguments" ... (not sure that is factual?)" i tend to agree with his abduction assessment as well ... For Nick's (documentation) is well respected in regards to his (own) fact finding in details ... And most importantly to myself (and from my own experience in talking with numerous witnesses (so called abductees)... i tend to agree that the majority of reported abduction cases most often seems to have occurred prior to the year 2000 ?

Saying that ... Personally from my own take of these matters... i do believe that the seeing and witnessing (of these varied kinds of experiences) has most definitely morphed into a much more broader and complex phenomena in and of itself ... An example (say) of just witnessing objects in the sky ... For i am realizing (finding) with each passing day... One intriguing account followed a woman named Michelle from England whose three-year-old son made a rather shocking revelation. A WWI-style biplane was passing overhead one day when the young boy proclaimed to his mother, "That sounds like the plane that killed me," Harold said. The three-year-old provided details of his life with another family in London, visiting a pub with his girlfriend and finally dying in an apparent aviation-related explosion at home, he explained. Harold believes the story hints at the reality of reincarnation.

Another eerie tale centered on a boy named Gabriel and a most unusual Ouija board. The planchette was removed from its black silk cover and as soon as Gabriel touched it the box containing the board began to rattle, Harold recounted. Gabriel's spiritual adviser pulled the board out and set on the floor, where it promptly began crawling around like an inchworm, he added. According to Harold, Gabriel threw the board into a fire where it remained unscorched until the planchette was also thrown into the flames. Harold related the account of an experiencer named Jim, who was approached by a strange laughing man who told him, "Today will be the day." Jim heard and saw the phrase at various times throughout the day, culminating in seeing it written next to a grim reaper figure on a t-shirt belonging to an accident victim, he said.

Harold reported on two similar sky anomaly accounts. One from a female teen on vacation in Dayton Beach, Florida, who, along with her brother, claimed to have seen a castle made of clouds in the sky. They could see every brick, the drawbridge chains and window shapes, he disclosed, suggesting it may have been a military experiment. A similar sighting happened in New Mexico, where a man witnessed a highly-detailed eagle appear in the clouds, he added. Harold also conveyed the tale of The Roadhouse Saloon, as well as a story about a picture that would not stay on the wall. The photo was of the entire family and every time it fell from its mount someone within it would die in a matter of weeks, he revealed. After six times the elderly owner of the picture finally took it down for good, he said.

The remainder of the program featured Open Lines. Appearing in the third hour, actor Patrick Dennis Flanagan phoned in with a brief update on an upcoming independent horror movie he's starring in called Jake's Road. In the final half hour, George played a recording of actor Christopher Walken's dramatic reading of Edgar Allen Poe's The Raven."

"In the first half, John B. Wells was joined by Stephen Kizner, award-winning foreign correspondent, for a discussion on the extraordinary lives of John Foster Dulles and Allen Dulles, two immensely powerful brothers who led the US into a series of foreign adventures which are still shaking the world today. He explained that the brothers commanded tremendous power because John Foster Dulles, as Secretary of State, would use his position to depict various foreign regimes as hostile to America while Allen Dulles, directing the CIA, would simultaneous work on covertly engineering the downfall of these 'rogue' states. According to Kizner, this methodology proved successful in causing regime changes in Guatemala and Iran as well as spawning the United States' entrance into the Vietnam War.

Kizner suggested that the brothers' proclivity for pushing America to intervene in global affairs was influenced by two aspects of their early life. Being sons of a preacher, he said, the boys were taught that "good people have to go out into the world and crush evil." Additionally, Kizner noted their decades of employment with the law firm Sullivan & Cromwell, which represented the foreign interests of American multinational corporations. As such, he surmised that "they came to think the interests of the American corporations were the interests of the United States." Ultimately, however, Kizner observed that this intervention on behalf of short term economic goals led to a "terrible long term effect" on America's relationships with various nations around the world in the modern era.

In the latter half, Jeffrey Phillips and Anthony Antonello talked about the case of Adam Kokesh, an Iraq War veteran who was arrested for posting a video of himself loading a shotgun at the Freedom Plaza in Washington D.C. Phillips detailed how Kokesh had previously been arrested several times at political protests, culminating in his July 4th demonstration of civil disobedience. For the crime of openly carrying a firearm in Washington D.C., Kokesh was arrested, denied bail, and has been held for the last 97 days, including over 80 days in solitary confinement. "It's become apparent that it's something personal," Phillips observed, "they don't like his methods and they're definitely trying to suppress him."

Reflecting on the current state of affairs in the United States, Antonello lamented that "tyranny has come to America." He lauded Kokesh for sacrificing his own freedom in order to alert his fellow citizens that "this government has been hijacked by people who do not have the best interests of Americans or humanity in mind." He noted that Kokesh has declared that he will not accept a plea bargain for the charges against him and plans to "put it in the hands of jury nullification" in the hopes that his peers will disagree with the nature of the laws he is accused of breaking. Should Kokesh be found guilty, however, he faces five to ten years in prison for his protest."

hi Giovanni, like most shows, I became a fan long after the thing had ended. i'd just moved out to California, didn't know a soul, and on most nights would spend long, unhealthy periods of time;) watching x-file repeats while sipping cold Guinness. I look back upon that period fondly, and have waited eagerly for the next installment in the movie series.

note: I had no idea Gillian Anderson was a Brit (at least originally. I believe she is an American citizen now) I just recently saw her in a movie called 'shadow dancer', and as I was watching an interview in the 'added features', she seemed to be affecting a British accent. she played British in the movie, and after i saw the interview I immediately lumped her in with all the other idiot americans that spend 5 mins on british soil and start speaking with an accent. I was profoundly relieved to find out I was wrong.

I have a feeling this next one will be amazing.

"A leading spokesperson on the dangers of genetically modified foods, Jeffrey Smith, offered an update on GMO foods, and their connection to health problems and disorders. He reported that we're currently in 'Non-GMO Month,' an outreach campaign to raise awareness about GMO issues, and encourage shoppers to make non-GMO food choices. Smith is one of the organizers of the GMO Summit, a free informational broadcast, featuring a panel of experts, researchers and activists taking place October 25-27, 2013. He noted that while Proposition 37, which would have required labeling of all foods containing GMOs was defeated in California, a similar ballot measure next month in Washington state has better prospects.

There are two major traits to GMOs-- they create their own toxic insecticide (BT) in corn and cotton, and (found in far more crops) they don't die if sprayed with an pesticide like Roundup. "Now, if we just look at the characteristics of these two toxins which are in the US diet, that could explain the gastrointestinal problems that people have," he pointed out. Smith suggested that the explosion of gluten sensitivity, and related disorders could be connected to consumption of genetically engineered foods. More here."

"In the latter half, author and former submarine Captain in the British Navy, Gavin Menzies, shared his latest discoveries about who discovered North America, and how amazing journeys of the Chinese pre-dated Columbus. Columbus sailed from Spain using a map that was received from China in 1434 which accurately showed the placement of the Americas, and he was not on a discovery mission, but acting as an administrator on behalf of the King of Spain, Menzies argued. There have been constant voyages to the Americas dating as far back as 40,000 BC from Asia and the Eastern Mediterranean, he continued, adding that simple ships from southeast Asia and China took advantage of the currents. As evidence, he cited how human remains were found in a bog in Florida dating back as far as 9,000 years, and they had DNA that comes from eastern Mediterranean people.

There were some 6,000 voyages between the Americas and Asia, and many plants and foods indigenous to the Americas were brought back to Asia, he said. Between 1405 and 1424, Admiral Zheng He made continuous voyages to the Americas, but toward the end of that period the Chinese Emperor overextended their country's resources, and all further sea voyages were curtailed, Menzies detailed."

Something odd going down at sophias and elijahs school.last week it was evacted.the whole school.for some kinda gas leak.gas tank i gather.not peep inthe paper in albia.not one thing posted on the schools homepage.today the fith grade only was evacted to a small church for most of the day.only the 5th grade.my sons third grade class is right below them.it was evacted because of a strong chemical smell??i didnt even get an email notice on it today.and still nadda info sent home or anything beeing said..my fatherlaw is a retired teacher.he is a bus driver and he doesnt even know whats going on...sorry gio.thanks for letting me vent.just needed to get this out.now back to the ranch..and hope ya didnt mind.truth always.william and tribe.
