Hey I'm 50 and I think in a large way you are right. But I have to say I said the exact same thing about the older generation too. A lot of the people in the group you describe are from the sixties and the Viet-Nam war era. There is a large percentage of those folks that are agreeing with most of what you are saying. They were at least exposed to different ways of thought during that era. If anything things went kind of backwards in the eighties and have never really recovered. Don't forget there are lots of us out there who have been thinking and raising awareness about these issues for a long time. Really what we are complaining about is a Juggernaut that has been in operation for thousands of years so we should expand our scope. Thanks.

Thank you for your insights Guaxini. I am a firm believer that before our soul energy chooses to come to Earth and inhabit a body for learning purposes, we choose not only our gender, race, and parents, but the country we are born in as well. All of these choices (and many not mentioned) factor into our evolution as an independent soul as well as a species. With that said, I am of the strong belief that a very high percentage of us who chose to be part of the Avalon community are awakened to the fact that change is needed and can/will occur through us. Those of us who chose to incarnate in the USA are planted here for a reason.... to assist in the awakening of mass consciousness to elevate the planet to a new/higher level. I do understand your frustration, but please take into consideration we may be volunteer souls, choosing to plant ourselves in this country to make a difference.

You've actually helped me answer a few of my own personal questions so many thanks. Although I was born in the UK, I knew from an early age (probably before I even hit double digits) that I had to get out of the country. I had a perfect family and very happy childhood but it was the broader sense that I didn't like the 'control' in the UK. Something just wasn't right for me. And I knew that I would live in Canada for some reason. It just made sense. There are more details but your post really hit home so to speak in terms of our purpose. Might not have figured out everything yet but a few more pieces to this very big puzzle fell into place :)

I also want to mention that I can understand and appreciate the same pain as Guaxini in terms of the terrible cost of life we've seen in the middle east. It's heartbreaking and senseless.

And yes, the mainstream media has put out a very controlled message, in the US and UK and other parts of the world. This is being done by the powers that be and feeds into their agenda and control of the masses. At this moment in time I personally feel it's very important to watch the mainstream media. To understand what their motivations are and what their next steps will be. It's quite interesting to see how they're trying to manipulate the public. And unfortunately succeeding for the most part. But I cannot generalize; I have wonderful friends all across the globe that I care for dearly. Some are awake and most aren't but they are all bright lights in this world.

It's easy to be angry and I've been there too. Not angry against a particular country. But angry by what is so obvious and clearly happening in front of our very eyes goes unquestioned. Well, there were quite a few of us that didn't agree to go to war. And the guys who did, had no say in whether we did or we didn't. The people don't make any decisions there, and I can't think of many places where
the people do make the decisions, or are honestly represented.
I've been to a lot of very lazy and very self-serving places.

If ordinary Americans had known more than the 'be afraid' pap they were fed, they would have disagreed.

I was in NY from 9/12 for a couple of weeks just helping out the guys doing the nasty work, and the initial polarization in that city was about community and brotherhood and forgiveness.

That's what you want. That's what a city needs to learn.

Thanks to all for adding to this thread. I was curious as to how PA members would respond to this unconstitutional bull**** the govt is using against it's people. Well i will have to agree with Guaxini on this. I think what you are pointing out is happening in every country. Who is it that is letting the bankers take over Greece? There must be Greek people who are taking part in this? I attend many protests for antiwar
I am an advocate against government corruption and the NWO
I have enjoyed more than once sitting in a jail cell as a result of being arrested at political protest in attempts to stop war crimes by Canada.
I take public stands to demonstrate that I do not agree with war.

I am an info warrior and spread information to others.
I will not kill another human or join in war for the profit of banks
I volunteer my time to help out at soup kitchens as well as volunteer my time to help homeless people.
I donate money to other countries to help ease of hunger and suffering of others.

I don't eat meat.
I do NOT support our troops!
I would think that I am a greater part of the solution rather than the problem.

Thanks again for your responses and I would like to add again to this thread now ! I personally am ashamed of my corrupt govt. and all the useless authority figures : military,police,religious,etc. I grew up in a society where if you do'nt cheat you cannot compete. Everywhere you look everything is corrupted by TPTB. I'm a rare bird that has been ostracized for speaking the truth as I see it since childhood as a military brat. I realised at early age most all authority figures were full of **** and lying to me whenever I questioned their self proclaimed authority and who gave them that authority. Most all US people fear our govt. and police ,and know the game is rigged, and they will lose. They shut up and walk quietly because they are afraid to say anything and stand up for themselves. My honorable discharge is a useless piece of paper and my ticket to FEMA prison now. Those of you that want a peaceful solution and are'nt willing to fight and stand up for yourselves will be easy targets for TPTB to control. We all have to make a personal choice: man-up or cower and accept a beating. Just think for a minute how if the slaves had guns- slavery never would have happened. Do you all want to live as slaves or fight back to remain free to live as each sees fit to live their own way??? We can all hope for the best outcome, but you better prepare yourself for the worst imaginable outcome in the very near future. Thank you all for allowing me to vent here on PA!!

Well the only way for any of us to see if our fellow man really has woken up or care about what is happening in the world is at the voting / rallies etc. So far in Greece not even 50% is taking part in the rallies but more than 70% is actively going on strike against the austerity (not the real problems i know). In the next elections we will see if we have matured as a country or not (if there are elections ... ).

About the USA people ... well OWS has some thousands ... and i believe the people that are against these rallies are more than the OWS people. If you guys have any other info plz share it with us. From alex jones interviews i saw a 30% of the people actually saying that its a good thing to have army in the streets o.O
