Solid,
Thanks warlock
Synchronistic for me. Just yesterday I was commenting to my coworker how ridiculous it was that so many radio stations would spout the current unemployment rate like it was the weather report.
Sleep, sleeep, sleeeeeeep, it's all ok unemployment went down by 1% percent this month.
ckuckle ;)

Heh yeah I know precisely what you mean, the majority of folks are seduced by lil tiny statistics like that. What alot of people fail to realize in regards to that number which I'm sure you're aware is job creation. The jobs created in that same time frame fell from 600,000 to around 100,000, and unemployment fell, so its fairly easy to understand that either two things are happening, either people just said 'screw it' or they are no longer receiving benefits and still cannot find work.
* Liked the article btw.

In response to the article in question, I will offer this. Being American, I generally understand the culture pretty well. I would say that many are observing what has happened in gov't and the nearly useless protests and rallies against what "our" (and I use the term loosely) gov't is doing. What you don't see or hear much about is how brisk the gun shop and shooting range businesses are. Many Americans believe in speaking softly and carrying a big stick!

Yeh, carrying a big stick that, hopefully, will be used against the right enemy. Not other people in just as bad or worse shape than they are.

100% in agreement my friend!
