Hey avalonians,
I can't remember what thread it was, but there was a discussion about the the internet going down and loosing information treasure troves like avalon.
Someone suggested starting to print out and file all of the best information on the avalon forum. Due to the Size of this forum, a task like that would amount to a lot more ink than most people are willing to spend.
Here is the solution.
I am not promoting any particular company, cause there are many that now offer this equipment. It takes a bit of a tech savvy mind to get this to work, but it's well worth it.
Installing a continuous ink system like this will decrease your printing costs by roughly 97% so you can print off the entire avalon forum without filling the ink cartels coffers.
This vid is youtube private (in case mods have a proplem with the pic),
and is a conversion for my canon MX882

If anyone would like to do this. Google your printer name and code with the words continuous ink system (ciss).
If anyone wants to do this and needs help just message me.
I'd be glad to help
I absolutely love this gadget. No more low ink cartridge warnings all the time ;)
