New Zealand losing its independence under Key

December 9, 2011

Another political mystery as a man who has spent little of his adult life in his supposed native country, suddenly surfaces and wins a national election. John Key of New Zealand appears to be the counter part to Obama’s sudden appearance in the US. I don’t believe in coincidences and the idea that yet another charismatic political figure rises up out of nowhere about the same time Obama did and suddenly is the darling of the political set in New Zealand, just as Obama was here in the US, doesn’t seem quite so coincidental to me.

This video on YouTube was released before Key won the last election. New Zealand would have done well to have paid attention to it. What is laid out in this video is your future under Key, obviously a man well connected in places other than New Zealand.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6IAZro0f3es&feature=player_embedded

Key won a second term as New Zealand’s Prime minister, which does not bode well for New Zealander’s. Key, well known for his willingness to imitate oppressive laws and regulations rolled out in the United States, especially those that target the abundant independent agricultural sector in New Zealand, has made clear that he will work with the US to finalize a corporate government-to-government free trade agreement that will include nine Pacific countries.

This agreement should further destabilize all the national economies involved opening the door for complete corporate takeover of all businesses, trade and finances and most especially ending domestic agricultural production in favor of centralized big Ag corporate monopolies.

Key is also attempting to dispense with the 25 year ban on nuclear warships from theUS, attempting to convince New Zealander’s that it will increase their defenses to allow the US warships access to New Zealand ports. To make sure the US has a firm military presence in New Zealand, a contingency of Marines will take up residence in New Zealand this next year for reasons no one is willing to talk about honestly.

Now that Keys is back in the top position, it is expected that extensive mineral exploration and exploitation along with offshore oil drilling will be opened up despite the extensive environmental damage to land and ocean as a result of last months spilling of around 400 tons of fuel near the North Island port of Tauranga when a cargo ship ran aground.

Keys focused his campaign on the economy and says he will bring the country back to surpluses along with paying down New Zealand’s national debt over the next three years. Keys intends to do this by selling off interests in four government owned energy companies and Air New Zealand; assets that actually belong to New Zealander’s and which are not the sole possession of the government. You can liken this to selling off your neighbors farm so that you can make the payment on your farm.

Again, with Keys following the US example of privatizing profits while nationalizing losses, New Zealander’s will be the big losers. The assets Key is planning to parcel out were bought and paid for by the people of New Zealand. Those same people will not see any monetary gain from the sale of those assets, but they will be made to shore up any losses incurred as this government, like so many others, squanders their national wealth and then sells off what little is left to foreign investors and global corporations leaving the New Zealander’s with no national assets and living on land that no longer belongs to them.

Key, a former banker with Merrill Lynch and stockholder in Bank of America, will make sure that the New Zealand government does not interfere in the activities of the World Bank. Key will be instrumental in the total international takeover of New Zealand’s assets.

Key is already trying to sell off Kiwibank and the recently re-acquired railway system. Many are predicting an immediate rise in home foreclosures and soaring food prices as Key turns the economy and finances over to the World Bank for exploitation. It is also feared that gas prices will rise and New Zealand will slide into third world status in public health.

Education will most likely be further reduced to produce the most illiterate generation in recent history, making the population far easier to manipulate and control as basic education dwindles.

Just as in the US where water mismanagement is used to convince the public that nuclear power plants are the only option left, New Zealanders will soon find themselves with sudden and unexplainable water crisis of one kind or another and nuclear power plants offered as the only solution and these will of course be built, owned and managed by American corporations.

It is apparent that whatever happens in the US is not only mirrored inCanada, but in New Zealand now, also. The chances are slim that the same activities by all three governments would happen simultaneously without a behind the scenes plan. New Zealander’s have joined the ranks of US and Canadian residents in being forced to choose between Evil #1 or Evil #2. In the end, its all just evil.

New Zealander’s, just like Americans, have allowed themselves to vote for the “evil of two lesser’s”. Neither party actually represents the public and is instead, controlled and working for international banks and bankers along with multi-national corporations which have a vested interest in deconstructing states for corporate interests and profits and a furtherance of the corrupt influence and control of the central banking system that is steadily destroying the US.

And they have passed codex alimentarius - one more reading before its law (thanks to Kate Wilkinson - member for Rangiora)

What is the Food Bill?

- A Government Bill introduced to Parliament in May 2010, which has since passed its first reading and been through a Select Committee review. It is awaiting a second reading as at 20 July. It may be enacted in the near future.

What are the problems with the Food Bill?

- It turns a human right (to grow food and share it) into a government-authorised privilege that can be summarily revoked.
- It makes it illegal to distribute “food” without authorisation, and it defines “food” in such a way that it includes nutrients, seeds, natural medicines, essential minerals and drinks (including water).
- By controlling seeds, the bill takes the power to grow food away from the public and puts it in the hands of seed companies. That power may be abused.
- The bill will push up mainstream food prices by subjecting producers to red tape and registration costs. Food prices are already rising due to increased energy costs and commodity speculation, while effective disposable incomes are falling.
- Growing food for distribution must be authorised, even for “cottage industries”, and such authorisation can be denied.
- Under the Food Bill, Police acting as Food Safety Officers can raid premises without a warrant, using all equipment they deem necessary – including guns (Clause 265 – 1).
- Members of the private sector can also be Food Safety Officers, as at Clause 243. So Monsanto employees can raid premises – including marae – backed up by armed police.
- The Bill gives Food Safety Officers immunity from criminal and civil prosection.
- The Government has created this bill to keep in line with its World Trade Organisation obligations under an international scheme called Codex Alimentarius (“Food Book”). So it has to pass this bill in one form or another.
- There are problems with Codex also. Codex will place severe restrictions on the content of vitamins, minerals and therapeutic compounds in food, drinks and supplements etc.
- The Food Bill means that non-Codex-complying producers can be shut down easily – thus it paves the way for the legal enforcement of Codex food regulations. Producers will be denied registration (which is discretionary) if they do not keep to Codex food production rules.

Oh, he is a nasty piece of work to be sure and he plays the mainstream population of New Zealand like a well strung violin. For all my distaste for his smug, arrogant grin I do have to admit he has a certain amount of charisma and plays the part of a velvet glove very well.

The whole lead up to this election played so smoothly it almost like it had been planned. We had the tragedies of the Pike River Mine disaster and the Christchurch earthquake which let him be seen as the brave steward who lead the country through dark times but then towards the end of his first term the country could come together in celebration when the All Blacks won the Rugby World Cup on home soil. I've long maintained that bread and circuses in Aotearoa translates to beer and rugby. It all just felt too perfect.

John Key has repeatedly and quite openly sold the country to US intelligence and corporate interests while kicking those in our society who are the most vulnerable. On winning (or being given by TPTB) the most recent election he claimed that the National government now "has a mandate" to go through with the sale of five billion dollars worth of state owned assets and to push through their increasingly draconian welfare reforms.

People seemed to so quickly forget that while he was at Merril Lynch he was known as 'The Smiling Assassin' for the cheerful way he went about firing people.

The one glimmer of light in all this is that it at least seems to be prompting some people start working together on a more grass roots level; strengthening their community networks and trying to support each other locally.

I'm only afraid that things will get a lot worse before more people start operating like this; realizing what is being done to them and resisting.

*sigh* I guess that is always the rhetorical question we ask the masses: "Just how bad does it have to get before you people wake up?"

Thanks for the post Jackovesk.

I know this is a little off topic, but there was a scandel which involved an Israeli who was killed in the earthquake, and was found with mulitiple passports on him.

http://www.stuff.co.nz/the-press/news/christchurch-earthquake-2011/5311500/SAS-patrolled-near-suspected-Israeli-spies

This is not the first time this has happened. The samething happened in 2004.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2004_Israel%E2%80%93New_Zealand_spy_scandal

The reason I bring this to the thread is because the in 2004 scandel the Prime minister at the time, Helen Clarke, made an international scene about it, whereby in the 2011 scandel John Keys swept it under the rug. I would have thought that because the israelis had been caught a SECOND time, red handed that Keys would have kicked up a stink.

I just need to point out that im not pro Helen Clarke, I think all politicians are nothing more that Bankster managers.

I just want to make a little addition here, slightly in response to the Hobbit trailer thread (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?37362-The-Hobbit-trailer-is-out-...) but I didn't want to derail that thread as it seems better off serving for people to enjoy their entertainment.

However, there is one incident from John Key's first term that stands out in my mind as particularly sour. It goes like this...

The The International Federation of Actors and the Screen Actors Guild had discouraged their members from working on The Hobbit due to the producer's insistence on non-union labour. In response Warner Bros threatened to shift the production to Eastern Europe (where the workers might be easier to exploit). This lead to closed door discussions between John Key and Warner Bros executives resulting in 1. A direct change to New Zealand labour laws 2. Warner Bros were given an addition $10 million tax break in addition to the $60 million already promised 3. The New Zealand Government agreed to contribute $13.4 million to the film's marketing costs.

The worst part of this for me, though, was the demonstration of New Zealanders marching on Parliment demanding them keep The Hobbit in NZ. This occurred on Labour Day, a national holiday to celebrate the institution of the eight-hour working day, instigated by Wellington carpenter Samuel Parnell in 1840 by organizing other workers to stand up for their rights. The majority of those in this protest were employees (or should I say contractors) of Weta Workshops - responsible for all the special effects in LOTR and just about every other film made in New Zealand. These workers were there at the insistence of Weta head honcho Richard Taylor in what amounted to workers campaigning against their own rights on a holiday that is meant to celebrate worker's rights.

On one hand this shows the absolute bare-faced collusion between out government and American big business. I'm pretty sure Warner Bros are not suffering for lack of cash and really need the New Zealand people's tax dollars to help them out. The other hand shows the total manipulation of people to work against their own interests and pretty much piss in the face of the struggles that have gone before.

I know quite a few people involved in the New Zealand film industry and I'm glad that they have jobs, but the price seems high as those jobs come with increased hours, decreased pay, and no guarantees when they can be fired on a whim. A well spread aphorism for they how the American film industry described New Zealand workers is, "Mexicans with cellphones."

Of course he is killing the country, so the bankers can pick off our assets for chicken feed! The worst thing is the NZ sheeple love participating in their own destruction! The amount of people supporting each new law/scenario lowering NZ wages is astonishing! EG, watching the news on TV3, journalists were asking people in the street "Who'd they'd vote for?" 2-3 people answered National because raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour would "cut the number of jobs!" This is insanity - studies have shown raising the average wage in some highly unionised American states, does NOT mean employers shift to lower-wage states. I truely think the NZ media is involved in a conspiracy to only report the views John Key wants, and ignore the rest.

Finding a well paid "middle-class" job is almost impossible unless your family is connected, so young NZ people face being wage-slaves and being fired within the first 3 months of every job they may get. You can guarantee John Key has another 20 tough laws up his sleeve and will feign surprise when the Euro & $US colapses. Then he will say "NZer's have to take a pay cut" and the sheeple will protest in the street supporting wage cuts, so jobs don't "go to China" - then 5 years later the jobs will go to China anyway (like Fisher & Paykell did). Yay sheeple, you've all got the Stockholm Syndrome!
