This is indeed disturbing:

Oath Keepers has learned that federal agents recently visited a Latter Day Saints (Mormon) Church food storage cannery in Tennessee, demanding customer lists, wanting to know the identity of Americans who are purchasing food storage from the Mormons.

This incident was confirmed, in person, by Oath Keepers Tennessee Chapter President, Rand Cardwell. Here is Rand’s report:

“A fellow veteran contacted me concerning a new and disturbing development. He had been utilizing a Mormon cannery near his home to purchase bulk food supplies. The man that manages the facility relayed to him that federal agents had visited the facility and demanded a list of individuals that had been purchasing bulk food. The manager informed the agents that the facility kept no such records and that all transactions were conducted on a cash-and-carry basis. The agents pressed for any record of personal checks, credit card transactions, etc., but the manager could provide no such record. The agents appeared to become very agitated and after several minutes of questioning finally left with no information. I contacted the manager and personally confirmed this information.

So why do federal agents want to know who is storing away long-term food storage? [Oath Keepers] suspect it is for the following reasons:

1. DHS/FEMA wants to know which Americans have food storage so the federal government can at some future point confiscate that food. Just as with lists of gun owners, compiling such lists is the first step toward future confiscation.

2. DHS wants to identify those Americans who are “switched on” and squared away enough to actually store food for coming hard times (such as during an economic collapse). That population of awake, aware, and prepared Americans poses a “threat” to whatever DHS and its masters have in store for the American people, and as Joseph Stalin so ably demonstrated, one of the easiest ways to subjugate defiant people is to confiscate their food and starve them into submission.

This, together with the news that Haliburton-subsidiary KBR is now seeking sub-contractors to outfit “emergency environment” centers – the FEMA camps – (see this link to the internal KBR document, "Project Overview and Anticipated Project Requirements", that was sent (leaked) to Alex Jones: http://static.infowars.com/2011/12/i/general/kbr-doc.pdf) is definitely “not good”.

As Infowars reported [last night], a document sent [them] by a state government employee confirms that Kellogg Brown & Root Services are looking to activate camps built for FEMA and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers across the United States.

This follows the Senate’s passage of Section 1031 of the National Defense Authorization Act which allows American citizens to be snatched off the street and held in detention camps without trial.

“They” are definitely ramping up for something. But what?

And why are Americans still asleep as the Nazi state emerges from within their formerly free republic?

Selene, this is an excellent thread. i can catalog people from my work in retail, (no pun intended). there is the elderly crowd that is just happy that their sociable security checks are coming in on time so that they may buy a new toaster....... there are the elderly that are awake and angry because they have no avenues to vent their frustrations so they flip back and forth from sleeping to awakeness..... there is the middle age crowd that does the same as the elderly..... they are confused, angry, ill at ease, but they don't know why. there is the younger crowd that is sooooooo into buying that 70" lcd hdtv and all of the great toys to continue gaming on..... and then there is another crowd. it's hard to give them a name. they are definitely asleep, arrogant and mostly living on subsidized monies. out of these groups only a small percentage from each are awake and aware enough to follow the slope down the rabbit hole. it amazes me everyday what i've seen with the attitudes and arrogance of the local community where i live. i keep trying to awaken everyone, giving them substantial areas to visit and learn from. there is so much information that some people just don't want to deal with it. there are also people who still genuinely believe that our government is doing what they need to too watch out for us all........ god help us with that!

the only thing i can think to do is too keep pushing the envelope. keep talking and observing and trying to help. it is quite the dilemma, because at the end of the day, i find myself exhausted, irritated, and wishing sometimes that i never woke up either.

Interestingly, Oath Keepers has pulled the story on their site because their source is no longer willing to cooperate.

Interesting indeed, Angelight.

Since the story was confirmed in person to Cardwell by the facility manager himself, it sounds very much like someone has been threatened.....

Thought for the day, from former Supreme Court Justice William O. Douglas:

"As nightfall does not come at once, neither does oppression. In both instances, there is a twilight when everything remains seemingly unchanged. And it is in such twilight that we all must be most aware of change in the air however slight lest we become unwitting victims of the darkness."

William O. Douglas,
Former U.S. Supreme Court Justice.

All prayer and blessing to the American people. It is in such as this, that the world hangs in balance.
