Ok, is this weird? Have we debunked this yet? I find the footage fascinating as it shows something which seems to change in pixels, granted it is the sun as seen from earth, but I have never had a dot like this appear on my camera when shooting the sun.

This is quite amazing, and I'm open to hear lots of info on it. Someone said it was Venus..I have my doubts there, but let's hear what you think. It's funny how it looks like an eye. Is this a sign? Are we in the days of Noah? Planets don't move as this thing did. It's very interesting, and appears to land.

You all really need to watch this. It has some very interesting images of something going on with the sun and moon. Odd

The guy is falling off his trolly. He seriously needs to do a course in optics, if he can pass the entry test.

edit:

The dark dots "in front of the sun" ARE ! the sun.

It's caused by what I think is called digital inversion, by the sensor. The direct light of the sun is so bright that it takes the sensor right off it's digital range scale and the sensor records a digital value that is inverted, i.e. 1 divided by the number. I may not be exactly correct about how the maths works but I'm very familiar with this phenomenon with Analog to Digital converters of various types.

Early computer sound cards did exactly the same thing when recording analog sound that got too loud and went off the digital scale in the converter. A very loud and nasty crackle would occure, and if you looked at the wave shape on a monitor you'd see that the wave had completely flipped negative at the point where the signal got too loud. Later audio converters have included firmware that auto-limits the sound to keep it in the positive scale.

The video camera he's used seems to not be able to do that with light levels.

The bright blobs of color to the right of the volcano are simply ( or not so simply ) caused by optical internal refraction within the elements of the lens.

There are no anomaly's on those footage with the sun. All I see is the sun. The poor guy thinks its an object in front of the sun when its the sun itself, lens flares and clouds. One unidentified object in the sunset image that flew away like a bird but due to the mega-low quality it can be ANYTHING.

I had to turn the audio off due to embarrassment about hes comments regarding something he apparently have no knowledge about which is photography and videography.

I would never ever take anything serious posted from that person after looking at that =) My personal oppinion!

so, the thing flying back and forth after the sunset is part of the sun as well? I think there is more to it. I'm not saying this guy's take on it is correct, but it appears more than a video issue.

The thing flying back and forth is most likely a bird. It could even be an insect because it's very out of focus so it's probably not far away from the camera. it could even be a bit of fluff or something like a floating plant seed of the parachut type ( like a dandelion seed ). I wouldn't like to say exactly what it is but it's very blurry so I think it's quite close to the camera.
