Pure Intention.

There is the Ground, Path and Fruition.

The Ground is our pure consciousness.
The Path is the confused state we find ourselves in,
(which does not recognise our pure consciousness.)
The Fruition is the realisation that we are this pure consciousness all along.

So we are all on the Path. Our paths are individual and self created.
Being self created it is the cause of our suffering, which is held together by our emotions.
Once we recognise this suffering, and the cause of suffering,
the next step is the 'intention' to transverse this path.

A few days ago there was a thread on impure intention.
This post is looking at Pure Intention.
Most of the time, to be honest, we find ourselves somewhere in between.

Pure intention is a good seed of intent.
Now we must make the journey.
The journey is in fact going nowhere...it is merely being now here!
It is an uncovering.

Waking up to our confused situation is merely stirring in a dream.
The word 'Bud' means awake, and 'dha' means to be pure.
'Buddha' means awakened and having purified all karma.

We may get glimpses of lucidity, but this is not the complete picture: it has to be stabilised.
Pure intention will keep us on the path until we realise that our confused path
is the path of wisdom.

The very nature of negative emotions is wisdom energy.
Howeve, it gets distorted and claimed, and turns into impure intention.

Pure intention is the unceasing expression of compassionate awareness.

I felt myself stopping at a certain point during a meditation.... and I wondered after when I my physical was awake, if I was not yet ready...

I seem to be attached to emotion... although, Now I am aware of it, and I do want to let go, I have to practice at this very thing to move on.

Thank you very much for the light in your post. This is awesome stuff here. :)

Hello nex2me,

In that moment of of stopping, what is happening?
Do you need more energy, or is it more of a stuck feeling?

With regard to the emotions, at the very first instance, pure perception is being aware...
then it is aware of 'something'.
Let's say that this is something that is not liked.
So...a judgement has just taken place.

In that first instant, mirror-like wisdom was present.
It just reflected the situation.
This mirror-like wisdom then got attracted to something.
The pure reflection became dulled.
Ordinary consciousness took over and decided it did not like this something.

So, mirror-like wisdom turned into anger...it's that simple.

There a slightly different wisdom for every negative emotion.
Each wisdom reflects an aspect of pure awareness.
A lot depends on our temperament...

It is said that the stronger the emotion, the stronger the wisdom.
Most of the time we live in a grey area.

Tony

PS Noticing your emotions is brilliant: getting stuck in that noticing
can be a hinderance. There is so much more to understand!

A subtle but important distinction, Tony.

The ego likes to hang out anywhere it does not get noticed.
It can take up the position of the witnesss - the one who is watching the emotions.

Yes much to understand. Wisdom reveals all in good time :)

Our purest intention is silent love to those far and near, with no expectations.
Peace begins when expectation ends.

oh, and chocolate actually does work!

P&E, - I mentioned 'SES' to see if it resonated with you.

That stands for 'School Of Economic Sciences'

In particular the Strong 'Practical Philosophy School' which they were setting up/branching out into- in a big way in East End/London- way back in 1986.

From the philisophical resonance of your posts, I wondered if you had been/were a student of that school.

It certainly ring several bells with me, I was a student there (In South/UK) for 9 years. (1977-1986)

K.U.T.G.W. (To save you scratching your head--'Keep Up The Good Work'...lol!)

Hello nex2me,

In that moment of it stopping, what is happening?
Do you need more energy, or is it more of a stuck feeling?

Well to be honest, IDK... This was an intense guided meditation. Before I started the meditation, I was chatting with my friend. We were doing it together, side by side, in his garage sitting on a couch. It was cold and we were in separate sleeping bags to help with comfort and warmth. So we chatted, we are both very aware of this connection we have with the source field. I feel sorta like he's really teaching me... rather than he an I learning together. I feel as though, when the meditation started I was expecting to simply disappear from the physical. This is because I see it logical, to be honest. To the extreme... If Im made of all this vibrating energy, and My consciousnesses is holding the matter together, Who is to say I cannot command it to let it all go. I felt my legs and feet melt away, sinking deeper and deeper, like sand in a funnel or like a sandstorm. Meaning, I felt EVERY single vibration accelerate within my lower half of my body and I pictured myself drifting away. I am ok with leaving... at least my consciousness thinks so. So, I wanted this to happen to my entire body but, I felt as if there as something unresolved, stopping this washing effect. Usually, Washing as Im trying to describe it, occurs from the head to the feet. This came form the very ground I was resting my feet on.

I felt so so so grounded after. My legs felt so strong, like back in the day, when I was in the Army, running miles a day. I haven't felt that in a long time. I felt recharged. My chakra's I could see colors in my eyelids, as I meditated and though I did not see all of them, I seen the yellow, red, orange.. and some green. I feel that there was something in my gut or stomach, stopping this from continuing on up to the top. Which makes sense to me, as I have learned that one needs to unlock each chakra, at a time, and then they get them in balance.

I was deeply relaxed, and almost fell asleep. This state of being physically asleep, mentally awake, is exactly what I am referring to. I felt, after I woke back to a conscious state physically, I lost the rooting I had...

I did two 1 hr sessions back to back. I am in love... and only seek more to be honest.

Methinks the use of the word "intention" is a far less effective word, as one can have a specific intent within an overall intention. Your use of the words "pure intention" can still miss the mark, depending on specificity. For myself, it was necessary to be more specific and found that the use of the word "intent" forced the mind to focus more narrowly on an objective. After reading Castenada, that morphed into "unbending intent". One of the most powerful disciplines one can learn concerning the mind is focusing your attention and having an absolute intent.

If you want to know what "intent" looks like, take a look at Astrid's avatar. The eyes of the mountain lion, cougar will tell you all you need to know about intent!
