Two seemingly unique events took place recently in the island nation of Papua New Guinea.
PNG current leader Peter O'neill has suspended the governor-general of PNG for failing to declare him Prime Minister over long reigning PM Sir Michael Somare

Whilst hours later in the same country, a magnitude 7.1 earthquake struck PNG 200km outside of the capital Port Moresby.
