Can anyone point me to information regarding the political situation in Iraq? How many U.S. personel really remain? How many mercenaries? How much violence is still occurring?

Iraq government said get outta dodge by the end of the year ... so who really knows?

we have perminant installations there, we will never be gone... they might say "all combat troops have left Iraq" or some other trickery.. they'll just call us "peace keepers" at that point... or "transition facilitators"

its comical really.
