Such a claim falls apart because many of her critics are themselves white, especially former followers. The claim is even more striking because of the racism in some of the imagery and words used by Crowther and her “tribe.” In one trip to Sweden, Crowther spoke about the alleged superiority of Swedish people over all others. Crowther frequently claims all Native elders, or even all Native people, are supporting her, waiting for her, and depend upon her and her message even for their very survival. Of course, nothing could be further from the truth. Most Natives never heard of her. Those that have are strongly opposed to her.
Wow, I can't believe she's still doing this and people are still going for it. She had something, when she first came out. Maybe it was her smile. Or the idea of her. But the chorus being raised against her to include her family is nigh overwhelming at this point. Smh.

Well she's certainly leading her flock down the primrose path. I remember being pleased by her creation of the "Tribe of Many Colors". I thought that was a move in the right direction. It was finding out more truths about her as well as more information about how the so-called Rainbow Tribe movement was pretty monochromatic that led me to write about that particular phenomenon and the dangers it represents (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?27571-The-Gathering-of-the-Rainbow-Tribe-New-Age-delusions-and-rude-Awakenings). I guess as we reach the apex of certain energetic cycles more and more "false prophets" will lead more and more astray.

How do we know that the information at that link is authentic?
There are lots of websites like that that claim to be exposing hoaxes, but are hoaxes themselves.

This information is in many more places than this website. Keep searching. I know that the native communities in N. America, particularly in the SW, have been very vocal in denouncing Keisha.

Perhaps, but the Native American tribes disagree about a LOT of things, and there are lots of disagreements within tribes as well as between tribes.

Well, have fun doing your own personal research on the topic! I`ve done mine and am satisfied that this article generally states the case. It would be nice if she were not a fraud. If you do decide to search, please share what you find here. :)

This is tricky for me because on the one hand I want to know why people are speaking against her or against her message. On the other hand, I have learned something extremely important about myself - that I am quite sensitive to negativity. What a conundrum. I only recently found Little Grandmother, and I have been reminded of many positive things from her. For one, though I have never thought of Earth as mother or Gaia like many do, she reminded me that this planet that we inhabit does provide everything that a human being needs to live (as a mother does). I hadn't thought of it that way either. Someone had seen a 6 minute video she did about having hope and not feeling fear about the shift of energies we all are going through. I needed that hope, and I needed (apparently) a reason to stop fearing what's coming even though it is unknown. I watched more videos, and I found something I can hold onto. Hope that things just might be okay. That being said, since I am a very sincere "seeker," and I am driven (by some force I cannot identify) - almost to the point of losing my mind sometimes - to find truth, I have been sucked in by a few theories that wasted precious time, abused my trusting nature, and ended up putting my confidence in the toilet.
Thus...the conundrum. I don't really want to watch any videos that kill my mood lol. No, I don't want to spend my time researching and reading and thinking and being...something that will get inside and gnaw at my positive energy until I'm a wreck. That's what ends up happening.
So, to those who believe her to be a hoax, is there anything you can share that would just let me know why? If you don't mind, it sure would save me stepping on a land mine, so I'd appreciate it alot!!!

It does not matter to me if she is a hoax or not.
Obviously, it is never a nice thing to be tricked into thinking something was true when it was not, but this simply gives an opportunity to learn.
I don't want to repeat myself: http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?8937-New-age-deceivers..Keisha-Crowther
I listen to Keisha Crowther. Up until recently I never had a bone to pick with her information or delivery - but the recent round of talks gave me pause for thought. Whereas previously her material was passing the discernment filters, recently one or two items got "stopped at the door". At this point I wondered myself if her "channel" had been compromised.
One item in particular was when she stated going on about the Gulf being all dead - and projecting an aura of hopelessness. I am not saying the situation is not serious, but it is not hopeless. This view, is my own, and is not "fact" per se, I am just sharing how I reacted.
Does this make Kiesha a bad person? No. In the same way that Blossom Goodchild is not a bad person.
Love is her strongest message and it is that part of her message I personally recommend is the one to focus on.

I have to agree with you. In my limited experience with tribes of North America, there is sometimes extraordinary disagreement splitting them in two -- over political leaders versus traditional leaders, relationships with the federal government or the BIA (is that agency still around?), development of tribal lands, right on down to whether the Haudenosaunee Grandmothers should still be allowed to choose the tribal leader, if I have got that right.
So that's an important point, to me. There is probably not a great deal of agreement about her, and we are being presented with one side or the other.

Repeat yourself or not, I respect your choice to do either. I'll pass on looking into whether she's a hoax. The way I figure it, everything I've heard so far (that has come out of her mouth) wouldn't hurt anyone. If I stumble onto something that she says or does that causes harm, I guess I'll quit watching and listening. I will say this, though. It is absolutely awesome that someone will put her real name to something that shares hope and then puts it out for all to see. If she's a fortune teller that isn't backed by anyone in the entire world, I have to ask myself whether her message has done any harm. Is she telling everyone to drink the koolaid? That's good enough for me. You guys have a great day :)

I really loved Keisha when I first saw her. And she was i Sweden summer 2010 planting
a chrystal from the ancestors. Thousands spent a week with her, paying one thousand $
each. Lovely. When I realized she was a fraud I giggled and thought, so I was fooled
by that bimbo. Well, we learn, dont we? LOL
