Lensing effect. Pure and simple. Internal reflection, as the spot brightness of the initial flash of light...this overwhelmed the CR (contrast ratio, ie darkest to brightest) limit of the individual lens elements and the overall group of elements. this created a line of internal reflections.

like this light from the side...overwhelmed the lens group's contrast ratio limit. I'll show it hitting the lens and we'll look at the lens effect IN the lens itself:

it is called 'lens flare'. it is exceedingly common.

Count the reflections and you can see that this lens has between 5-7 coated glass elements. Which is about normal for such a lens.
