Have you ever wondered why on Christmas we cut down/carry evergreen trees inside our houses, decorate them with fancy ornaments, and place presents underneath them?
"So, why do people bring Pine trees into their houses at the Winter Solstice, placing brightly colored (Red and White) packages under their boughs, as gifts to show their love for each other and as representations of the love of God and the gift of his Sons life? It is because, underneath the Pine bough is the exact location where one would find this ‘Most Sacred' Substance, the Amanita muscaria, in the wild." -James Arthur, "Mushrooms and Mankind"

It turns out the pretty red and green decorations are based on the special time of year when pretty red and white amarita mushrooms were gathered and eaten ... which led everyone to have the experience of seeing God directly.

I guess it would not be unreasonable to see flying reindeer pulling a sledge! The amarita has featured on chrismas cards for a long time.

Searth for the video The Pharmacratic Inquisition. Some delicious stuff about this little mushroom and the church. Hmmm, look at the Pope's dress, shoes, and drinking cup. They all look like the little 'shroom in various stages of its life.

To be honest, we have been accessing the same knowledge as they do....in Mexico there are plenty of mushrooms, peyote, salvia divinorum or ayahuasca in south America that will show you a different view of life or the real connection with source, But they make it illegal for us to use, so they give us alcohol and toxic tobacco instead.
Lets all go back to nature.
Thanks for the info Dawn.

Thanks Conc. I did search for it and found the full version on UTube which I am posting here. You'll need Adobe Flash Player to watch it. (and if this is a problem you can find an 8 part version on UTube that you can watch without Adobe Flash Player- I'm not posting that version here)

Why on earth would a special interest group make something that contains lexicon-shattering and soul-awakening power illegal? Unless...
Pardon me for being vain, but perhaps it is that nature will only allow for a certain number of talented musicians.

The hallucinogenic fly agaric mushroom is
one of the favorite foods of the arctic circle
reindeer (domesticated caribou) in Scandinavia.
Reindeer are central to the lives of the indigenous
Saami peoples who herd them. The shamanic
traditions of the Saami include eating the mushrooms
and contacting the "Great Reindeer Spirit."
Ingesting fly agaric mushrooms can produce a
sensation of flying. It is thought that the 19th century
myth of Santa Claus may have its roots in older Saami
traditions.

The truth shall prevail. You've done it again Dawn. This is the second subject in two days that you have posted that has dropped my jaw to the ground. Is there nothing sacred and traditional left for us to cling to? :biggrin1:
I'm loading the full movie now to watch it.
This pic is somewhat staying on topic, but I couldn't resist posting it here. Mushroom House.

One writer suggests in 'sacred mushroom and the cross' that the name 'jesus' was the code name for the amanita muscaria.

The flying rednosed reindeer is said by some to be the constellation Orion which rises at dusk on Christmas Day - the red nose being the red supergiant Betelgeuse.

Amanita muscaria is more than just a hallucinogenic. As with a lot of nature's gifts, fly agaric has more than one purpose.
Taken as a medicinal in a tea, it is a purgative...clearing toxins from the body. Make a batch using a little more water, it can help you to relax, making you drowsy and help you to sleep.
If all you want is a hallucinogenic, psilicybin is your best bet.

it was my understanding that if you ingest dmt, there are enzymes which break it down and dont allow it into the bloodstream. maybe this particular mushroom has the ability to cancel out those enzymes during digestion?

I'm not sure if Fly Agaric contains DMT, but it does contain Muscimol. Dry the caps on the fire place. Grind them up and make a nice brew:) Make sure your sitting in front of the Christmas tree and put the flashing lights on.

If anyone is as starved for detailed information as I am, here is a lecture by the two authors who offer much more information. This is over 3 hours in length.

Wow good stuff! Ive picked liberty caps many times, I think opening this part of the brains opens new doors to mankind. This is in folklore all over the world..the mushroom is the doorway. It is the doorway to other dimensions. Thats a neat photo of Santa and the mushroom.
DMT is powerful, the Man who seen the double helix -DNA was on DMT at the time he saw it. People who have seen fairies, snakes, elves have been on DMT. Ive encountered myself fairies and elves while on my trips many times.
