More good news: I can't wait for the press conference tomorrow!

PRESS RELEASE TORONTO, ON., CANADA- 19/12/2011

ECONOMIC THINK TANK CONFRONTS THE GLOBAL FINANCIAL POWERS IN CANADIAN FEDERAL COURT.

RESTORE THE USE OF THE BANK OF CANADA FOR THE BENEFIT OF CANADIANS AND REMOVE IT FROM THE CONTROL OF INTERNATIONAL PRIVATE ENTITIES WHOSE INTERESTS AND DIRECTIVES ARE PLACED ABOVE THE INTEREST OF CANADIANS AND THE PRIMACY OF THE CONSTITUTION OF CANADA

Canadian constitutional lawyer, Rocco Galati, on behalf of Canadians William Krehm, and Ann Emmett, and COMER (Committee for Monetary and Economic Reform) on December 12th, 2011 filed an action in Federal Court, to restore the use of the Bank of Canada to its original purpose, by exercising its public statutory duty and responsibility. That purpose includes making interest free loans to municipal/provincial/federal governments for “human capital” expenditures (education, health, other social services) and /or infrastructure expenditures.

The action also constitutionally challenges the government’s fallacious accounting methods in its tabling of the budget by not calculating nor revealing the true and total revenues of the nation before transferring back “tax credits” to corporations and other taxpayers.

The Plaintiffs state that since 1974 there has been a gradual but sure slide into the reality that the Bank of Canada and Canada’s monetary and financial policy are dictated by private foreign banks and financial interests contrary to the Bank of Canada Act.

The Plaintiffs state that the Bank of International Settlements (BIS), the Financial Stability Forum (FSF) and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) were all created with the cognizant intent of keeping poorer nations in their place which has now expanded to all nations in that these financial institutions largely succeed in over-riding governments and constitutional orders in countries such as Canada over which they exert financial control.

The Plaintiffs state that the meetings of the BIS and Financial Stability Board (FSB) (successor of FSF), their minutes, their discussions and deliberations are secret and not available nor accountable to Parliament, the executive, nor the Canadian public notwithstanding that the Bank of Canada policies directly emanate from these meetings. These organizations are essentially private, foreign entities controlling Canada’s banking system and socio-economic policies.

The Plaintiffs state that the defendants (officials) are unwittingly and /or wittingly, in varying degrees, knowledge and intent engaged in a conspiracy, along with the BIS, FSB, IMF to render impotent the Bank of Canada Act as well as Canadian sovereignty over financial, monetary, and socio-economic policy, and bypass the sovereign rule of Canada through its Parliament by means of banking and financial systems.

A press conference will be held on Wednesday, December 21st, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. to answer any questions the media may have of the Plaintiffs at: 637 College Street, Suite 203, Toronto, Ontario.

This is a very important development in my view.

But too bad the issue is before the courts. The issue is really a political issue but the major parties will not touch it.

The only party that had put this issue on its platform was the Canadian Action Party founded by Paul Hellyer, former deputy prime minister under the Trudeau government. The Canadian Action Party never really got off its ground. It was infiltrated and destroyed from within before it could even start breathing. It still exists but has been put on the shelf and you never hear from it.

Too bad.

Here is a news release from the Canadian Action Party. At the bottom is the link to get further updates.

The Canadian Action Party’s first pillar is Monetary Reform. Specifically the utilization of the Bank of Canada as it was intended when it was Nationalized on August 15th, 1938 by than, Prime Minister William Lyon MacKenzie King.

The Bank of Canada, unlike the Federal Reserve in the U.S., is wholly owned by the people of Canada. It had been used in the past very successfully to fund infrastructure, social programs, health and education for the benefit of all Canadians. It was used to bring us out of the depression; it funded our WWII effort, built highways such as the McDonald-Cartier freeway, public transportation systems, subway lines, airports, the St. Lawrence Seaway, our universal healthcare system, and our Canadian Pension Plan. Unfortunately, since Canada adopted Milton Friedman's theory of Monetarism in 1974, Canada has gone through the private banking sector to finance its needs causing the federal debt to increase nearly 3000%.

This continual and deliberate decision by the Government to no longer use the Bank of Canada to its full maximum benefit of Canadians is the thrust behind a court case that has been filed in Canadian Federal Court by COMER ( Committee on Monetary and Economic Reform) , one of our Party’s long time supporters.

The Canadian Action Party fully supports, and encourages all Canadians to support, William Khrem and Ann Emmett of COMER in their efforts to finally get an answer from our Government on why they no longer utilize the Bank of Canada as is intended for the benefit of all Canadians. We encourage all Canadians to attend the Court proceedings and make your support for the Bank of Canada known to our Government.

We want our BANK BACK and CAP suports COMER in their efforts to challenge the Government in Federal Court.

The full Statement of Claim in this Case can be found at:http://bit.ly/BOCcourtchallenge

The Canadian Action Party is preparing for its National Convention in August 2012 in Ottawa. This event will begin with a birthday celebration for the Bank of Canada on August 15th. All Canadians need to remember that we are fortunate that we own a National Bank. It is now the time and our right to make sure the Bank of Canada is being used for our benefit.

Case updates will be available as they occur at http://CanadianActionParty.ca

Sincerely,

Christopher Porter

Get this out on social media, email it to friends and family etc. This is probably the most important thing that's happened in Canada to date as far as the current global "Revolution" is concerned. Get people fired up about this, make the media pay attention. Write your MP, tell them you support wholeheartedly the concepts behind this lawsuit and want to see them pushing this agenda forward in parliament - why are our tax dollars going to interest payments when interest-free capital should be available to the people by law for important projects? If they do not support this they are not doing their jobs. This needs to become an issue.

Paul Hellyer: Still Trying to Change Monetary Policy

by Steve Paikin Sunday December 4, 2011
He may be 88 years old, but one of the most legendary ex-politicians in Canadian history is still trying to have an impact.

Paul Hellyer won his first election in the Toronto riding of Davenport in the 1949 federal election. At that point in our history, he was the youngest MP ever elected.

Hellyer and I ended up at the same event a year ago, and I asked him why he ran for office in the first place. His answer: "I wanted to change monetary policy in Canada."

Sixty-two years later, he's still at it, trying to change fiscal and monetary policy in Canada.

Former Canadian cabinet minister Paul Hellyer, flanked by former U.S. President Jimmy Carter and former first lady Rosalyn Carter.

This picture was taken in Plains, GA in April, 2011.

Hellyer has had one of the most fascinating and controversial careers in Canadian political history. His first cabinet post came in the Liberal government of Louis St. Laurent. But he also served in Lester Pearson's and Pierre Trudeau's cabinets. In fact, he ran against Trudeau in the 1968 Liberal leadership convention, and, after switching parties, against Joe Clark in the 1976 Progressive Conservative leadership convention.

He also eventually left that party and started one of his own.

Given the depths of the Great Recession the world now finds itself in, we thought it might be interesting to have Hellyer come to our studios to share his views on how he'd change fiscal and monetary policy. You may not find many economists on Bay Street or Wall Street who agree with his prescription, but that's never stopped us in the past from offering our viewers a chance to hear differing views.
