After one Missouri baby died and another one in Illinois was stricken with a rare infection, officials in Missouri are testing infant formula to see if there might be a link between the cases.
Ten-day-old Avery Cornett of Lebanon, Mo., died Sunday of a cronobacter sakazakii infection. He had been fed Enfamil Newborn formula, produced by Mead Johnson Nutrition. Missouri health officials say a second baby in the state was infected with the same bacteria in the past month and recovered
