Are we a Binary System?

Ancient Text talk about our SOL system being a binary system, even some modern contactees talk about this being a Binary System. Modern Scientist are starting to agree. What do you think? One reason given for why we here on earth can't see it anymore, is that our orbit was adjusted to only take on the radiation of the main sun because our planet Terra isn't capable of handling the radiation of two suns, so thus the second sun was hidden and blocked from Terra by adjusting the orbit to always be on the opposite side of the main sun. Thoughts?
