Every New Year brings with it fresh hope, a sense of achievement; a kind of new beginning. It is sometimes difficult (as it used to be for me) to correlate the changing of a number on an arbitrary calendar with anything real or emotional but that is not what I observe in practice. When one is in the "field", as it were, of life, being here, experiencing all that is thrown at us personally as well as collectively, one cannot fail to be enthralled by the sheer togetherness of it; that we are after all, rich or poor, better or worse, good or evil, in it together. That is a powerful thought and one from which it is hard to escape.

So, I too would like to associate myself with the sentiment of good wishes to everyone and like everyone, keep vigil in anticipation of major earth changes for the betterment of human kind; may we witness it together.

It is certainly an auspicious present, heralding an equally auspicious near-future. Despite the subjectivity inherent in the designation of a "new year" in the context of an eternal and ever-present Now, witnessing the manifestation of our collective dream of what can be shall be an event, no matter the outcome. We are light, the future is light, beyond all fears, all hopes, all expectations. Blessings and thank you for this moment, this thought, this Truth.
