I remember hearing about these other faces a few weeks ago when that story kicked off about Hoagland and some other guy called Gary. The images were seen in the TV show UFO files.

Has Hoagland given an explanation? Are they simply faked props for a show? Are they real?

Im curious.

I have read this case. I dont think the Cydonia photos are too compelling, the resolution is poor and so is the shading. i think more photos need to be produced.
Was their an ancient civilization on Mars? Possible. Mars is billions of years old. Some claim Mars was closer in the solar system to the sun then it is now.
Currently i think their is no life on mars. the atmosphere is too cold and is made of toxic gas like carbon dioxide.

If you don't feel comfortable with Hoagland (understandable), try the late astronomer Tom Van Flandern's book.
Dark Matter Missing Planets & New Comets, chapter 24: New Evidence for Artificiality at Cydonia on Mars.

There will also be similar material at his website, metaresearch.org (http://projectavalon.net/forum4/metaresearch.org)

Thanks I have seen this Mars presentation before and it is very good , Tom Van Flanders and Bryan O'leary present a convincing case for the The Mars
anomalies and probable extra terrestial civilisation....There have been many threads on this and my view at present from the info put forward is their
is human activity on Mars from 'black projet' bases .There is speculation to whether the Annunki are still present either on Phoebos or elsewhere on the planet.
also claims that indiginous Martians have lived underground for thousands of years and are connected to an anciant Earth/Mars galatic civilisation,,,
Plenty of speculation as usual and NASA/JPL smoke screens as per their instructions from the government per the 'Brookings report'...
But wheres there are lies!!! The Truth will always out eventually...Steve

sorry, only just viewed the video!

Great to see those two wonderful men again - they have both passe don since.

INterestingly, this press conference, like the Disclosure conference, happened just a few months ahead of 911, and no doubt lost its impact for the same reason.

Currently i think their is no life on mars. the atmosphere is too cold and is made of toxic gas like carbon dioxide.

There is compelling evidence of flowing water, vegetation, manned, operational power stations and transport systems on mars. Insiders say tptw have gateways to get there, and remote viewers have described the insides of the power stations as well as the inhabitants and their activities.

I think this one is one good example...

Cydonia is basically a city and even if the face is an accident of shading the entire complex of pyramids and ruins is pretty convincing proof of ancient civilizations.

carbon dioxide is a lifegiving gas, rather than toxic for many living organisms.

So, has noone got any info regarding Hoaglands response to these images?

What puzzles me about Cydonia is this. Van Flandern bases his scientific analysis on the predictions about the face base on the first photos and predicting what would be seen on the later ones. If it was a face, then secondary facial features would be detectable, i.e. the nose would have nostrils, the mouth lips, etc. These were the features that led to it being 100 billion billion to one against chance that the structure was artificial.

Then Hoagland weighs in with his face as city scenario. A ruined city may look like a face, with nose and mouth etc., but it doesn't need these secondary features as well. Van Flandern's notion of artificiality is as a face, not a city.
