We may see the ground work being laid for a new crisis and vaccine scare campaign as a Chinese man has recently died from H5N1. The story below:

Chinese bus driver who tested positive for the H5N1 bird flu virus died Saturday in a city bordering Hong Kong, health officials said, in the country’s first reported case of the disease in humans in 18 months.
The man surnamed Chen died in the wealthy southern city of Shenzhen, provincial health officials said. Shenzhen is separated by a small river from Hong Kong, where thousands of birds have been slaughtered after two were confirmed to have the virus last week.
During the month prior to his fever, Chen, 39, apparently had no direct contact with poultry and did not travel out of Shenzhen, a metropolis of 10 million people.
H5N1 rarely infects humans and usually only those who come into close contact with diseased poultry. But among those infected, nearly 60 percent die, and scientists are closely watching the virus for any signs it is becoming more easily transmissible from human to human.
Chen developed a fever on Dec. 21 and was hospitalized on Dec. 25, city and provincial authorities said in a statement. Health Ministry experts confirmed on Saturday that he was infected with H5N1, the provincial health department said.

Linking this story to the WHO we see:
WHO "deeply concerned" by mutated birdflu research
By Kate Kelland | Reuters – Fri, 30 Dec, 2011
LONDON (Reuters) - The World Health Organization issued a stern warning on Friday to scientists who have engineered a highly pathogenic form of the deadly H5N1 bird flu virus, saying their work carries significant risks and must be tightly controlled.
The United Nations health body said it was "deeply concerned about the potential negative consequences" of work by two leading flu research teams who this month said they had found ways to make H5N1 into a easily transmissable form capable of causing lethal human pandemics.
The work by the teams, one in The Netherlands and one in the United States, has already prompted an unprecedented censorship call from U.S. security advisers who fear that publishing details of the research could give potential attackers the know-how to make a bioterror weapon.
The U.S. National Science Advisory Board for Biosecurity has asked two journals that want to publish the work to make only redacted versions of studies available, a request to which the journal editors and many leading scientists object.
In its first comment on the controversy, the WHO said: "While it is clear that conducting research to gain such knowledge must continue, it is also clear that certain research, and especially that which can generate more dangerous forms of the virus....has risks."
H5N1 bird flu is extremely deadly in people who are directly exposed to it from infected birds. Since the virus was first detected in 1997, about 600 people have contracted it and more than half of them have died.
But so far it has not yet naturally mutated into a form that can pass easily from person to person, although many scientists fear this kind of mutation is likely to happen at some point and will constitute a major health threat if it does.
Does this seem fishy? I dunno really. I think crumbs may be getting laid for a possible scare tactic or a real release. I'd keep my hands washed if I were you all, but our mom's always told us that anyway.

hey US that article sure could rattle some bones and help some very elite people with the "human problem" they pretend to have.
I dont see anything in there that i could make positive..
Do they have to make the virus easily transferrable from human to human so they can then go ahead and attemp a vaccine?

Hey Benny,
I would think anything that get's out already has an "anti-dote" for it, but if they don't want us to have it then too bad. As for a vaccine, that would be the whole reason for it to get out imho, just like the past scare that they were discovered to have a very big problem with the vaccine batch. Bill interviewed jane burgermeister about it, and it caused quite a stir. Look up the story if you don't know it yet.
It's all fear porn and get you sick porn. I won't be getting any vaccines for it and neither will my children.
I wish I could add more. I shared it because I found these two stories coming out now interesting timing.

How is one guy dying considered a pandemic, doesn't there have to be a certain percentage of deaths in a short amount of time, or cases to be considered a pandemic? Fearporn indeed.

.......... their work carries significant risks and must be tightly controlled .......
Now there's the understatement of the bloody century !!!!! I just love their language - "Deeply concerned" !!
There wasn't too much paranoia here over "bird flu" 2 years ago, so we'll have to see what happens. Thanks for the info US, nothing on the radar here as yet

yes i seen the interview US and all interviews..
i understand that is why they make the vaccines.. just asking why they have to make it transferrable.. do they come out and say they are doing it because they need to make a vaccine?
what positives can they draw from making it even more highly contagious?
the WHO issued the warning, meaning they are making themselves look like the hero if they vanquish the process's the scientists are going through with engineering it.. they also come out and say it needs tighter control.. so they are sitting on the fence as well..
if an outbreak gets out they can use these statements to say we told you so.. and by making these statements and letting the scientists continue, will they let the virus walk out the door knowing their back is covered?
questions are not for you to answer US :) just general ones for all of us..

My post was that I am saying that this will be the new annoucement from the WHO just like they did the last time. I apologize if my title upset you. I am not saying it is a pandemic, but that is the next step and I doubt it will take them long to do so. We shall see.

It didn't upset me, I was laughing.
Maybe: "Alert about a potential incoming pandemic alert:"

Yes, much better Anchor! I suck at writing headlines. I'm better with writing actual copy. I should run all my crap by you first and just ask you for a catchy headline.

Just over flu here and it was week of hell let me tell ya. Was talking with a relative in New England who works in public health and the CDC sent out a bulletin saying that the new flu strain going around is a muted form of avian strain. Very contagious and airborne. Be prepared.
