Cold Fusion at Home Depot?

Andrea Rossi, the new father of cold fusion, which is actually a Low Energy Nuclear Reactor, hopes to have his E-cat air conditioning and thermal energy in millions of homes by the end of 2012 and is in talks with Home Depot for distribution, according to a recent interview on coldfusionnow.com

“To work in this field you have to be absolutely non-reactive towards controversy,” said Rossi on the Ca$h Flow show with James Martinez. According to Rossi it was the research of Pons and Fleischmann that sparked his passion for cold fusion. He carried out thousands of failed attempts but “something like instinct” kept him going until he achieved his goal.

Rossi, a no-nonsense character adds, “This is the only thing that counts. I absolutely do not care about all the meaningless noise that surrounds this kind of work.”

He expects the units to be available at Home Depot in the fall of 2012 at a price range of about $1,000 to $1,500, will last about 30 years, and can cut the price of household energy by about one-sixth. The unit pays for itself within months.

Rossi encourages the existing workforce to be actively involved in E-cat installation. The E-cat can be installed in parallel with existing heating systems and Rossi’s corporation will work with existing contractors that already maintain your residence.

Wow, This is Bliss, maybe just maybe the cabal (Featuring Godzilla) is falling apart as we speak. I'm sure Wade Frazier's gonna love this.

Thanks Onawah Dr.Rossi said they had working prototype generators, I pressume that is them in the vid ??

I assume that is one of the 1mw generators running...

These types of systems are actually very simple, a heat source, a heated medium (water usualy) a turbine & a gen. set... same as all of our large scale power plants, we've just found a cheaper heat source.

Now if this is combined with the new alloy that converts heat to electricity I see some fantastic increases in efficency :)

Multiferroic Material A new multiferroic material begins as a non-magnetic material then suddenly becomes strongly magnetic as the piece of copper below it is heated a small amount. University of Minnesota
A new alloy with unique properties can convert heat directly into electricity, according to researchers at the University of Minnesota. The alloy, a multiferroic composite of nickel, cobalt, manganese and tin, can be either non-magnetic and highly magnetic, depending on its temperature.

Multiferroic materials possess both magnetism and ferroelectricity, or a permanent electric polarization. Materials with both of these properties are very rare; check out this explainer from the National Institute of Standards and Technology if you’re interested in the electron orbital arrangements that cause these phenomena.

Sounds so good! If I wore a hat I'd take it off for Dr Rossi! God I hope this will be manifested all around the world. What are the implications on society? Do the people become richer in every way as a result of the innovation? What are the logistics involved here? One sixth of what we pay now for Gas and Electricity. We could be spend the savings there on world travel etc..

Presumably, although there was another video embedded in the article which I could not get to work, and which I think gave a better idea of what the individual units will look like.

I just heard this interview with Gerald Celente where he mentions the rumor about Home Depot buying the patent for some sort of cold fusion device, it's at 6:20 m into this video.

True cold fusion is a knowen fact to occure on the earth but it will never be marketed. If it were the control of power would lost. Sadly I think greed will prevent it from ever reaching the public until all other options, that make more money, are exhusted. That is unless system is completely reworked!!!!! :(
