View Full Version : What if there were no aliens?

I just wanted to get a feel for what other forum members think about this.

What I am asking you is if you think your perceptions would change if there were, in fact, no greater civilisations than us (as depressing as that sounds). That we were a random biological accident.

I am here because I have a deep seated interest in the subject and have had for many years, but in that time alternative theories have presented themselves which require careful study.

Could, for example, what are seen as UFO's be in fact time travelling future humans or even less weird, they may just be black projects.

It does look like the potential for life to evolve on other planets is probably pretty high but those lifeforms might take on any number of weird and wonderful forms and we might still be unique.

So tell me your thoughts...is intelligent life a figment of our vivid imaginations or are we really being visited by extraterrestrial beings.

Seems like an awful waste of space.

Erm you should be asking if ETs are real and on this planet. The way you are asking it is liek if their is life elsewhere in the universe besides earth.

The galaxy is full of life ... just the possibilities in numbers is staggering. Billions of stars billions of planets etc etc... there is just no possibility that life is unique on earth. Now if they are here visiting us is a totally different Q.

Personally i dont care if ETs are here or not. The existance of these UFO (whoever is making them) is enough to shatter the current society/economy/science. So its enough for me to change this planet to a better reality.

Even if we never meet aliens EVER... will this change the fact that we can have free energy that can change the face of this solar system? I am not talking about earth only ... if they (PTB) let us evolve we will expand to cover all this solar system easily. If they lets us we will stop poverty and wars ... we will make life worth living for. WHY? Because i think humans are not evil. We are raised "as evil - selfish" beings so they can control us.

Last remember than in the galaxies time the sun is a new star... there are stars out there that had planets orbiting them millions of years before the sun even was born. So no greater civillizations etc is a dream lolol

I think you raise an interesting point ... but whatever is seen as ufo's ... something is going on (most likely to me both terrestrial and non-terrestrial technology).

Besides I don't like the term alien ... time and space seem to be more and more the same thing ... so time-travelers and space travelers are probably the same thing anyway.
Perhaps even more dimensions are involved ... I think we should rather talk about 'other beings'.

I think off-worlder is the pc term these days. I've had proof IMO, anyway that they are real. Unless govrnement agencies can read random people's minds that is, which I doubt.

I see your point ArtyCarl...actually there is no evidence is there? but there is no evidence for God either and yet I retain a certain faith that both exist. We see things in the sky and there are many photos and videos of blurry objects. If it wasn't for the fact that I've seen craft three times in my life, I wouldn't believe it myself! ..I saw them though and till the day I die, I'll believe that they didn't come from Mother Earth..I don't know where they came from however.

Remember that most folk don't believe in ET's and yet it seems to be coming to a time that they can hardly deny the evidence...pyramids..HAARP and so on.

Common sense says that there must be others out there.
My feeling also is that we possibly came originally from other planets.
There are so many mysteries unexplained, pyramids being a major one.
The civilization of that time in Egypt could not have, to my understanding, built them.
Even today we could not have lifted some of the heaviest cut stones in Egypt.
Crop circles, Im not sure of, in that we have the technology to make them from satellites, however cant see why our "lot" would bother.
I would like to believe that ETs made them.
I doubt that ETs are going to rush in and rescue us, or even if it would be necessary, but who knows.
We have to get our own act together.

I don't think we are alone - this vast multidimensional universe is probably brimming with beings

I'm not so certain ET is here yet - but ghosts and discarnate spirits for sure

once our ancestors here on earth perhaps were pretty advanced - but then something happened that made mankind start again from scratch

Like graybeard said its common sense and i will also add its just a matter of math, think of the infinity of our universe,of course that there must be others similar or like us out there somewhere, there is no question in my mind there are other beings on this planet as we speak, but i dont believe for one sec that the good ones will ever show up and do anything to interfere with our own evolution, seriously folks this is none of their business and i am sure there are some rules in the higher levels that wouldnt allow interference, now for the negative ones they dont care for rules nor follow them so they do whatever their agenda is,we need to learn what it means to be responsible once and for all,for our actions as a whole because all the human race does is point fingers at others blaming this and that for whats happening today, when the bottom line is we created this mess we allowed it we let ourselves be controlled lied to and never lifted a finger to do anything to change it,so i suggest if your looking for a change stop sitting on your butt and look inside you, thats how it all starts change within because this reality is a reflection of our collective inner rotten state, this solar eclipse will help us give a little bump in that direction, but we need to stop being lazy believing things will change out of nowhere, because that wont change a thing,if you really want a change BE the change!

Much light to all of you my friends.

Take 7 Phd's as one grain of sand..we however live on a 50 mile beach, infinite consciousness, only a person with pride and selfishness would in fact, see no greater civilisations than us .

Thinking we may be alone in the universe is like Pacific islanders, hundreds of years ago, believing they're the only people in the world.

We'll never find the Aliens because they hide in plain view for ALL to see. If you don't believe me just look in the mirror.

Silly really to even think that we are alone!!!

Wrote this a few years back...

Are we alone? Common Sense tells us not!! ;-)

'Can you imagine the size of our Universe???? Bet you can't.

Ok lets start with planet Earth and how long it would take for light to reach us from from the Sun.First of all the sun is 92 Million miles away. Speed of light travels at 186000 miles per second. The Suns light particles takes 8 minutes to get to Planet earth!! YEP just 8 Minutes!! Bloody quick hey...

Now for that light to get from one end of our galaxy to the other it would take 100.000 YEARS! THAT’S HOW BIG OUR GALAXY IS. That’s a friggin a big Galaxy hey!!...Ok still with me??

Now lets imagine that Planet Earth is the universe on a much smaller scale. Imagine one small grain of sand. Just one small grain on a beach somewhere or floating around in the sea. Imagine the the millions of beaches we have here on planet earth and how insignificant that small grain really is compared to the size of Earth!! The small grain of sand is lost amongst the sheer size of the Planet. Still with me?...

Now to get an idea of the enormity of our Universe. Just imagine that small grain is just one galaxy and that every single grain on this Planet represented another Galaxy. Can you imagine how many Galaxies we have in our universe. Yes there are billions and billions and billions. And still this a very small estimated depiction of our Universe.

Are we alone? NO... OUR UNIVERSE IS TEEMING WITH LIFE. AN ABUNDANCE OF LIFE MUCH MORE THAN YOU CAN EVER IMAGINE!

Interesting question to let the mind think about! Nevertheless so illogical & and so far away from what I'm feeling and experienced since I was a child, but this is just my personal opinion! :-) I'm very sure we are a dna-mix of different aliens. No proof for this statement, except my inner feeling!

I am not suggesting we are the only form of life or even intelligent life. Indeed now that we can see that there are other planets revolving around other suns it is truely unthinkable that we might be alone in the universe. Personally I am convinced that life is abundant out there but are they really visiting us or have we ourselves created that.
My question was triggered recently by Avalons home page article on the anniversary of Roswell. 60+ years on what do we really know. Technology has moved on incredibly and I guess the majority of people around the world believe we are not alone but evidence is sketchy.

In an infinite universe there must be infinite possibilities. So yes, at least one of those UFOs is being piloted by pink poodles.
