I certainly recommend it.
The premise of the book is the documentation of Carlos practicing in his energy body in order to pass through the gates of dreaming which will ultimately allow him to control his dreams. Though they are not dreams, they are a world just as real as our waking one...except it is a world conducted in the energy body instead of the physical.
The topic of inorganic beings comes up as well. The mutual exchange of energy between the organic and inorganic. Though this in and of itself puts you at the mercy of the inorganic being when it needs something from you. There are many examples within the book that show why Don Juan has always been put off by the inorganic beings. Kinda sounds like summoning "daemons" or reptillians..............
I digress.
I personally have the hardest time remembering my dreams...I used to have o.b.e's, wicked vivid and epic epiphany dreams, travels to other realities with a guide though being unable to control myself.
Needless to say my friend always gives me an elbow in the side and says, "Dude! You're missing out on like a third of your life." Though the book itself states that passing through each gate took Carlos months and months and months. Kind of uplifting....I guess I gotta stop smoking though.
Kind of a random post for which I apologize. Just wondering if anyone else has read the book or has any input on the concept of dreams, the ability to control oneself during them, and any inorganic beings one may have encountered and have established a relationship with.
P.S. It's funny because someone said to me if you can do that why would you ever want to wake up? (Like the movie Vanilla Sky) The next day I'm reading and it explains how the old school sorcerers made it a point to never really wake up in the "waking world" hahaha.
They eventually reached a point through manipulating and sustaining their perception in order to move out of the human world into a whole different form of reality in which energy is moving at a different speed than our own. This accounts for bleed through of reality, the idea of dimensional beings, so on so forth.
Oh yea, Don Juan states that the old school sorcerers were around 10,000 years ago and were at their height 3,000 years ago. Atlantis........among many other civilizations of the past.
