"I remember, growing-up and watching racists cartoons and stereotypical films with "humble" Chinese characters. Americans are so hopelessly racists, and only exalt themselves, at the expense of their ethnic minorities, and other nations who are not European. Today, China owns America and their military will put these racists in their place. It is long overdue, and the world is waiting breathlessly.

Well, if they own all the shopping malls, someone would think that.

Hello dear friends. Just to throw a wrench in the system of who has the biggest and best one. :hand:
We might consider the following.
All the humans of this earth should be considered as equal, not one country or language or colour or religion or economical status (rich or poor) should over see the rest of the world.
When are we going to learn how to get along, the day we will heaved learned that we will be able to do wonderful thing together.

All the humans of this earth [are] should be considered as equal. This I agree with, with the one amendment.
When are we going to learn how to get along. The day we face ourselves and wake up.

The raison i did not say this with your amendment is then (and i do understand and agree with your amendment) i dont think we have completed the crossing of that path yet.
Many humans of different countries would try to sale their added value from their point of view and would not even consider the overall unconditional value of all humans of this earth.

I do know where you are coming from, NFH. My feeling is that if we insist in our minds that we are all equal, it will be true. I am coming from the place where I know that I am the world and the world is me.
I am wondering, though, if the americans can do it like the chinese.

What facts did you present? Its about quality not quantity. I don't get this video, so ... they march like robots meaning they are stronger? If China was so strong why do they continue to copy our technology? They don't even have a viable stealth fighter. Or an aircraft carrier, when we have 10+ Nimitz class carriers, and the new Gerald Ford class rolling out into the sea. Terrible video.:bathbaby:

I think the strength has to do with numbers. At the end, it stated that the women alone in the army outnumber the entire USA population. And the marching, I personally think it takes some effort to do it with that precision and speed.

What do numbers count for when a single drone could take out an entire battalion? What do numbers count for when they can't get off their mainland? What do numbers count for when we have air superiority? Naval superiority? As I'm sure alot of us are aware, America loves war, we've been fighting people for a long time; we've gotten incredibly efficient at it, I'm not bragging but it is true. Shock n Awe has become something we are take pride in. The new Apache helos, the new thermobaric munitions, AC-130 spooky gunships, new drones, new carriers, we have incredible technology. China has potential and the capital to put up a hell of a fight, maybe they wont actually be motivated to become superior until they engage in a conflict. Afghanistan/Iraq conflicts just seemed like a testing grounds for new weapon systems.

China's economy is unsustainable. They will eventually run out of the fossil fuels to continue the production of all the billions of cheap little gadgets that we all buy for cheap money. To maintain this they need to keep the costs of fuel down and have a never ending supply... This is not environmentally possible, as we are all aware. China could postpone their own disaster by using their own vast land holdings for sustainable industry... but every thing they do is not based on this premise. Unfortunately, the meltdown of China will be a disaster. Already most of their population is in poverty... hard times on the horizon to be sure. Also to add to this, the spending power of the economies they depend on to buy their exports had ended. China may have the worst impending crisis on the planet. Something to think about.
From the Heart,
Wormhole
Ps. I neglected to mention that they are also going through a serious housing bubble as we speak.

I don't consider it Anti American. But the way you worded it was general and a sense of revenge. I think at this point in history, most of us on this forum are trying to see past the conflicts of ego and who deserves this and who deserves that.
Its hard to forgive, but its the only way to reduce all the fighting and wars that seem to be brewing. I don't consider Strong in general terms. It happens in the details of individuals lives and choices. Country verse Country just convoluted how interesting and caring people are. Tribe mentality has got to go, IMO. :)

Define own. It is a common misconception to think that China 'owns' America, alot of people think that China owns a majority of the US National debt, but it isnt true, and even if it was, the US National Debt does not limit the ability for the federal gov't to function. Truth is; it is the American people who own most of the debt, among various other foreign nations. The numbers differ slightly between who is asking but China owns around 6-8% of the US debt, but it isn't as if they can just call in that debt one day. It is built into the securities that they purchase that it will take between 20-30yrs for repayment.

America hasn't really been in a real conflict with another country in a long time, a real theater of war between America and another country now a days would be absolutely frightening. china cannot successfully invade the usa because it lacks the necessary air and sea power to get its foot in the door and transport the multitude of its troops in a expedient manner.

Who cares really? Are all Americans racist, surly not. Are all Americans shallow, no. Are you, probably not. So why get offended?
Instead of the word Americans the term corrupt American Government would be a better way to describe it. And seeing that democracy is a farce, the ordinary American cant even be hold accountable for what the backwards governments do.
So lets not divide ourselves with this utter nonsense. It sounds like a very childish game of who has the longest ...

Shallow? well that's always possible i guess, if you judge me then so be it!
impressed, nope. I'm making a comment on reality from a person involved in the militaryindustrial complex since 1999; my effort here was to add sanity, perspective and reality to the conversation.
America (USA) will probably not openly invade Iran, the militia is a pain in the ass there, I expect covert missions to do most the work, but a serious public propiganda campaign will need to lay the foundation of "public support" (this is already underway).
I have "learnt" a lot from history & I know that what we are witnessing now is the flailing of an empire in decline, much like britan, rome, etc before it.. the over reach is... well over, now we start to crumble from the inside while still trying to support our global empire (enforced through the petro dollar and our MASSIVE military)
So lets not divide ourselves with this utter nonsense. It sounds like a very childish game of who has the longest ...
there shouldn't be an argument here, this is not a subject open for opinion there are clear facts & they are being expressed. the US has been spending in that proportion to the rest of the world for around 20+ years (and even before that it was still a lot higher than most countries) mostly due to the efforts of PNAC ( http://www.newamericancentury.org/ ) which is the core group of NEOCONS that probably architected 9/11 (i'll say definately...) & is the same group of scum that have been circling the drain in washington for like the last 50 years!
I could go on, but its important to note that yes, this empire is falling, but guess what, our **** is WAY longer than anyone elses & if it comes to using it some damage will be done; this is not an opinion and should not be forgotten.
the point is this, yes this tiger is dying, but its still a ****ing tiger!

Yes, very helpful, Tony. LOL
China has a stealth weapon system that the West cannot track. It was proven a couple of years ago now when North Korea sent some missiles up as a test. The US and its allies could not detect all of their missiles through the usual methods. Those missiles came from China. I'd be really careful about those #'s also, regarding economics. I've read some of those recent articles pertaining to the economic instability in China as well. I think they are part of the information warfare and psyops. They may be true, as far as they go, but they don't go far enough to take into account the power China currently has to affect the global currency markets and the standing of the United States and the petro-dollar as the world's reserve currency. China has been coopted at its leadership within the past year, it is true, but how deeply that cooptation goes and how that will affect its future in relation to the West and the rest of the world remains to be seen. They do not have the same history as the West nor do they seem to have the same motivations. So, attempting to determine what they want and what they will do from the perspective of the West and Western culture is a doomed proposition and will lead to misinterpretations of their actions as well as their intention and the desired result.

The only hope for humanity is that concern for others and peace becomes higher on everyone's agenda. If not then we will keep voting for fear and politicians who will go to war to protect various areas of the economy.
Believing in the continued perceived threats of other countries and terrorism just enables politicians to reinforce the military and police states keeping the control and material orientated people in power.

Militarily the US is stronger. China owns $3 trillion dollars of US debt. They don't need to fire a single bullet to bring the US to its knees. It merely dumps the dollar and hyper inflation will do more than any soldier, tank, jet or Chinese missile will do.

Actually that is not so impressive. You put a sub in known trade routes. She sits quietly at the bottom until the CVN battle group sails overhead. Then you pop up.
What was more interesting was the cruise ship that suddenly lost all engines and had to be towed back to port. I read it was a Chinese fired EcM missile that exploded some distance from a carrier. Of course the carrier is protected against such threats but cruise ships aren't. It was the Chinese way of saying stay out of our waters because we can play in your waters too.

I apologize if I misinterpreted that to imply that Americans are so hopelessly racists. Someone else's words perhaps? I don't see another interpretation.
I know all about the KKK and the Civil Rights movement. I was there.
I trust your credentials that you're not a racist and I'm not a racist either.
That's nice.
Accusing everyone else of racism is racist.
Perhaps I should have include the word "some Americans are so hopelessly racists", but I was using another person's statement, which I thought was appropriate to the video in light of how america is viewed by the general population of the world. Or am I wrong there?
Is not, for instance, the attitude towards the chinese not racist?
I've seen this pattern before of: A. providing ignorant comments; and then, B. Claim constructive purpose by stating either what you wrote were not your words or "it doesn't have to be this way."
"Perhaps," you should not make posts that:
1. Lower the Vibration of your Audience; the opposite objective to what I understood this Forum is to advance; or
2. Distract those of this forum that intended to participate for constructive purposes; or
3. Insult a significant percentage of your Audience; or
4. Broadcast our "immature" human condition as lacking the intelligence for self-determination and self governing; (unable to find ourselves out of a wet paper bag); or
5. Causing further depression and lack of confidence in saving our species, with reorganization for self-reliance and winning against the current PTB.
I am losing patience for you and others here; I am now attempting to determine to what extent there is incapacitating anti-American prejudice. Is this reflecting organized Psy-Ops objectives or simple idiotic buffoonery, parasitic to any group?
The only positive, that is also vital in any situation when people speak up: You, and others that perpetuate hostility (and thank those who do), are identifying yourselves to all as Members with malicious intent who are to be avoided; and, at the least: Taken seriously.
"Perhaps," I should thank you for that.

No, no, no, no...Indian is stronger.
Authentic Chinese cuisine doesn't use strong curry at all.
For something strong, you'd be better off going for an Indian - ask for a Vindaloo or Madras...
Hope that's helpful.
;)
Americans are so hopelessly fast-food chained. An all out vindaloo attack would burn holes in their resolve. Even when you ask for 'super-mild'.
Oh and ktlight,
You're a Brit calling Americans racists?
First, I must say that those were not my words, if you read the post correctly, you have have realised that.
I do know historically there was extreme racism in USA that still carries on. KKK, for one, 'Strange Fruit' describing another. I was born in UK from Irish-American and English, with South African Scottish/black roots. I do not claim, except through a passport, to be from here. I am married to a black american, who was on the road during the 60s and 70s, having to use a separate entrance to restaurants and hotels.

Yes you should have included 'some'.
American politics and brainwashing would be more accurate. Also British and European. Australian and a lot of South American. South African. Who else?
Who's exempt?
The people are generally ambivalent or appreciate the Chinese. There are a good number of grownups there as well.
And for the rest, who supplies them with most of their trinkets and gizmos? And shoes and the guts of their cars and chow mein in a tin?
No, you make no sense to me whatever.
And then the party escalates into a scrap about who's tougher. Good grief. About how much money they spend on robots and aircraft carriers that they can't afford to lose.
A couple of rounds of ICBMs from both parties would make a war very short.

ktlight,
This thread was intended to be funny? Are you laughing now?
For the reasons I previously listed and will again, this thread works against our most dire circumstances, wasting valuable time, international good will (aren't we all brothers and sisters?), that is most necessary: Because your original post, as well as the "thanks" and supporters that followed:
1. Lowers the Vibration of your Audience; the opposite objective to what I understood this Forum is to advance; and
2. Distracts those of this forum that intended to participate for constructive purposes; and
3. Insults a significant percentage of your Audience; and
4. Broadcasts our "immature" human condition as lacking the intelligence for self-determination and self governing; (unable to find ourselves out of a wet paper bag); and
5. Is causing further depression and lack of confidence in saving our species, with reorganization for self-reliance and winning against the current PTB.
Would you ever consider a simply apology, or at the least, recognition, that your attempt at humor failed?
I am coming to realize that this, like other posts, are shot at Americans on a regular basis. Is there an Avalon rule stating that obnoxious and inappropriate comments are not to be rebutted, and acknowledged as such?
My fellow Americans are indeed a tolerant bunch. That says a lot about our thick skins developed over the years.
Has no Yank called you out on this before?
This negativity is very disconcerting; I am not laughing. You have succeeded in Point Number Five above, at least with this group, for me.
Whether you choose to take this to a positive response, I would ask that you would ask yourself your original purpose; and, at the least, consider my five points aboveprior to making any further posts.
Sincerely,
ktlight

EnergyGardener, when I showed the video to my husband, who is american, he laughed, and I could see why. I am just saying that the video will be seen for what it is whatever your perception.
I think it is a serious subject to bring out whatever is within, and I refuse to submit. All has to be faced before you can even think to proceed to winning anything, and the most healthy reaction is laughter.

I've never quite understood the need to tear others down even humorously. I find it small minded, small hearted, and hopelessly ignorant. It tends to only be funny to those who have an issue with that subject. With all the so called talk of raising our vibrational level, I guess that is meant for only some and who really cares if others are offended in the process. There is a definate anti X attitude on several subjects by some here. Now, if you want to talk about real issues and problems without taking a broad brush approach then I find that a constructive conversation, otherwise it's just mean, and as I've said, I've never understood mean people.

I find it a pretty flimsy excuse to quote such a hateful quote and then say, "I didn't say anyone was racist" or "I was just joking". I think that was what the bully said when called on their behavior, "Can't you take a joke?" As if it's the one who was intentionally insulted by the perpetrator is the one who is negative and has the problem. Yes, the bully plays the victim again, and makes those who have the nuts to stand up to them somehow the aggressor that the bullies supporters can then start finger pointing and claiming how bad their behavior is. Bad EG, Bad EG, Bad Serenity, Bad X how dare you point out truth. Now go to your room, no cookies for you.

The video says that China has a bigger army and thatīs a fact we all know about. Whatīs wrong with it?
The USA has bigger guns. Thatīs a fact as well.
So, whatīs wrong? Can we move on?
Thereīs better things to do here instead of pointing the fingers on each other faces.

Hey Raf,
It's the OP's chosen quote to put with the video that is the problem. That's the issue. It's rather bad form to insult an entire nation and shocking to find the perpetrator offended when called on it! It's sort of like kids on a playground and one says, "Your mom's a whore" and then shocked when he gets punched for it. Wow, how shocking. Bad person for punching the instigator. Bad EG, Bad Serenity.... no cookies cause you can't play along and enjoy having your entire country bashed, slammed, ridiculed. Can't you just let it go?
Serenity says, 'Why sure I can sugar, just why don't you tell the others to put away their paint sprayers and behave like good lil boys and girls as well and we'll all get along just fine."

Let me throw in a little different perspective. I'm in no position to know the truth about the topic of this thread from the ground level. However, I believe the masses of Americans are being trained to be afraid that they China/Asia et al are becoming stronger. About 6 months ago there was a commercial where Chinese young people were being told they "own" us (wish I could find it.)
I sell furniture though. Over the last 10 years, I've noticed customers are extremely sensitive to buying furniture from China. My answer to them???? Well, American consumers didn't want to pay the price that American furniture costs, so China's (et al) just gave you/us what we wanted. Or maybe I should say, what we were "programed" to want. We furniture sales people are so tired of this conversation cause it's a situation that just "is".
You know the story of the boiling frog??? Ever so slowly that little frog is boiled to death cause the heat was raised very slowly until it was too late for him to jump out and save himself. How hot is the water right now?

Militarys are tools of the elites on all sides, regardless of there make-up.a discussion on the backround to the pantomine would be much more constructive i think.
Very dodgy video in addition.
