Anybody, and I mean that, who believes Iran is a threat to us has serious cognitive problems owing to being under the spell of the psychopaths who own the media. There is no other way anybody could arrive at a conclusion that Iran posed a threat other than it was put there by a third party. It sure as hell doesn't come from not watching TV, ignoring newspapers and magazines or meditating. No! Iran as a threat is an inserted idea. Anything else is complete delusion.
Thanks for posting some Smedley, Calz. He saw this country for the organized crime syndicate it is almost a hundred years ago. His speeches are more recent, but he was beginning to form his opinions very early in his career. What he has to say is invaluable to anybody trying to orient themselves to some sort of sanity from a global/political/economic perspective.
Hope I'm not being too subtle.

It was very decent of you to warn about the images, Calz. I was able to start the video, scroll down the page to make it disappear and then listen to it safely. Muchas gracias.

I am posting an article that is not only informative about Iran and the area, it is irreverently funny. The article clearly states that Iran is not the enemy, the government of the USA is:http://www.rense.com/general95/stup.htm
A good title for it would be: Stupid is as stupid does.

Our talking among ourselves is not the big problem for the folks who like to think they are in control. the problem for them comes when you wander out into the realms of the great unwashed..and start informing THEM... in simple clear unadulterated ways.
Do it with zero emotion and rancor..and do it as if it is established fact and reality....and that you are operating within those parameters. Make the great unwashed feel as if the ignorance is in their court (by not recognizing their ignorance, they should have none, you see?)..and that they have somehow lost track of the way things are done in their world.
Put them on the defensive, and off balance so they look at what you say and do as if it is a childhood like thing that they have to learn. Like those first few days in kindergarten and daycare, trigger their inherent wiring need to get along and into the flow of the herd. Be the herd 'normal' component, in their presence.
That's how I get them to look and learn. treat the situation as if...everybody knows (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mEQldSi-heE).
Through this sort of method, one can begin to change the numbers (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2xAJVri2a1U). Never engage them in argument. Speak as if your world is the normal world and they are the confused ones. Act as if you are literally, deeply surprised.... that their position and understandings are 'not normal'.
This..confuses them and puts them into that childhood 'learn to mimic and fit in' mode. specifically.. Do it without emotion or any underlying tension, at all. You'll have to practice this and some of it will go awry, but sooner or later some good tactics and methods will emerge.
This is the base psychological stance required to bring the 100th monkey effect into existence.

We like to call it the Discordian Bomb. It only works on strangers, as those who know you have already categorized what you have to say. It kills me how people come up to me talking excitedly about what they saw on history channel or discovery last night, and it's something I told to their deaf ears years ago.

All Hail Discordia ! :)
Love Robert Anton Wilson Illuminatus references. His writings had a large influence on opening up my awareness of programed beliefs verses open-minded consideration of things....

Here is a good quote from Gordon Duff. His intelligence contacts are enormous. He is an intelligence guy with a bad attitude towards his former employer
.We aren’t going to be able to keep Iran as an enemy for long. Iran is politically unstable, inherently pro-American and an excellent market for the hundreds of American companies violating sanctions through their offshore branches, half headquartered in Zog, Switzerland.
You didn’t know? Sorry.

The purpose of the Syria and Iran propaganda is to draw China and Russia into a war, a war that would result in enough damage to Russia and China, so that the rulers of the failed/bankrupt monetary system of the trans-atlantic region would still come out on top after the financial collapse.
Here's the EIR article proving that the nuke threat is a load of crap.
Top US Nuclear Expert Tells Obama: There Is No Weapons Treat From Iran
January 16, 2012 • 1:29AM
The former dirctor of U.S. programs for production of nuclear materials and components for nuclear weapons, Clinton Bastin, sent an open letter to President Obama the morning of January 13, explaining that there is no weapons threat from Iran's fully safeguarded nuclear power and research programs. A copy of the letter, which the nuclear scientist also sent to the Iranian Ambassador to the United Nations, was made available to 21st Century Science & Technology magazine yesterday. It is reproduced below in full.
Bastin, who has served in leading positions in government since the 1950s, laid out the case on Iran in greater detail in an interview with 21st Century Science Nov. 18, 2011. The interview, which devastates the arguments for an Iranian nuclear weapons threat, is available at www.21stcenturysciencetech.com/Articles_2011/Bastin_Interview.pdf
To: Iran Ambassador Mohammad Khazaee to the United Nations Subject: NUCLEAR IRAN
Dear Mr. Ambassador:
THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE SENT TO PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA THIS MORNING IS BASED ON EXPERIENCE-BASED KNOWLEDGE
There is no weapon threat from Iran's important, fully safeguarded nuclear power and research programs. Sanctions based on false claims of a threat have disrupted Irans economy and Iranians' day to day lives, preclude effective negotiations with Iran to resolve problems and increase world dangers.
The ultimate product of Iran's gas centrifuge facilities would be highly enriched uranium hexafluoride, a gas that cannot be used to make a weapon. Converting the gas to metal, fabricating components and assembling them with high explosives using dangerous and difficult technology that has never been used in Iran would take many years after a diversion of three tons of low enriched uranium gas from fully safeguarded inventories. The resulting weapon, if intended for delivery by missile, would have a yield equivalent to that of a kiloton of conventional high explosives.
Drawings of weapons found in Iran by International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors are fakes, prepared by dissidents to harm Iran. Any drawing for a nuclear weapon program would be stored in a top secret vault and never seen by inspectors.
Please share this information with your cabinet, Members of Congress, all Americans, and leaders of other nations, and the United Nations; end sanctions against Iran's nuclear programs and support strengthening Iran's economy.
(Clinton Bastin directed U.S. programs for production of nuclear materials and nuclear components for weapons and the successful U.S. nonproliferation initiative with India. He was a consultant to U.S. national security agencies on proliferation threats in other nations and a leader in the U.S. Nuclear Weapons Freeze Campaign. He reviewed in detail 1970 U.S. and Iranian plans for nuclear cooperation, and has maintained cognizance of Iran's plans since that time.)
MR AMBASSADOR, PLEASE SHARE WITH OTHERS AT UN AND OTHERS AS APPROPRIATE, AND LET ME KNOW OF ANY SUGGESTIONS OR COMMENTS.
BEST WISHES!
I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE HELP FROM YOU AND OTHERS CORRECTING THIS GREAT WRONG.
CLINTON BASTIN

Let's take it one step further and say that NO ONE on the planet is OUR enemy. Just a figment of TPTW's imagination...
