America's controversial use of its drones in Asia may have caused overwhelming anger, but now it's threatening to do the same at home. Washington's key spying weapon in overseas operations is becoming a common tool for U.S. police, stirring up privacy concerns among more and more Americans.

So far I have seen two drones over N. CA. The first time it was flying very low over the treetops. The second time it was probably at about 5k feet and moving at a very high rate of speed absolutely silent. Also have been seeing lots of unmarked aircraft lately (in the last year).

Wonder how well those hold up against bullets or buck-shot. Just a question. I know of some crazy hill-billies who would love nothing more than a live, mechanical target.

As they become cheaper, I suspect we'll be seeing these all over the place, they will become common and people will be numb to them. Creepy idea thinking a drone could be stalking above me like a shark waiting to pounce.

You can get good RC like the Parrot AR.Drone on Ebay know! and even add a HD camera to it. So we can all do this also.
Let's have fun also.

The drones are bad enough. They now have blimps that hover at 60k feet and you can't even see them. They can follow you around from 60k feet or simply use the red light cameras around town.
