However the article asks which timeline we are on from a doom/survival perspective.

I would say, without a doubt, survival but that in thinking this I am not kicking back and relaxing.

I am not a "doomer", but I am to a certain extent a "prepper". I am prepared to undergo some "inconveniences" as we make progress along a sometimes turbulent road.

I dont dwell on it. I maintain appropriate reserves of food and water etc, I have bug out bags and I maintain a readiness disposition. But - and this is significant - I am not afraid of it at all, and I think whatever happens will be quite survivable for all those that follow thier inner guidance from now onwards.

But I do hope that now the well has been capped things don't just return to normal and people don't go back to sleep.
As high as the pressure has to be on the BOP that's at least how high our pressure has to remain on anything that has to do with oil or anything that compromises our survivability on our planet.

I fear that 2012 is nothing more than a fear mongering hoax created by the illuminati [sic] & the New Age Religion that they founded. There is no evidence to suggest that anything is going to happen. The Mayan calendar predictions/prophecies are nothing but a very bad translation, speculation, guess work, make it up as they go along money making scam.
There are predictions/prophecies in other cultures, but they mostly point to the years 2010/2011. The return of the king! Ancient Cymry mythology to which most other cultures have stolen & now use as their own.

There is now a possibility that folk who have been fooled into believing this lie will in essence manifest the events into reality.

Just to elaborate, and you can take my opinion as you will ; We are entering into the cycle of concsious co-creation. This means that our manifestations come to fruition with much ease.

At the moment there are two main categories ;

Those who believe we are entering a time of extreme upheavel and negativity. (Many who frequent this forum, and concentrate most of their energies on the "doom and gloom" which is currently underway)

Those who believe we have the power to create a new earth, and ascend from this vibrational density.

Those who are unaware will simply be carried along by whatever vibrational frequency is dominant in their energetic/emotional body.

If it happened, why are we just hearing about it now? I figure it would be more widely-known outside of the U.K.

Also, a similar incident happened in the U.S but it didn't involve aliens, but rather a practical joker that somehow hijacked a station signal.

The Winter 1977 Fortean Times (issue #24) [15] featured a transcript of what they described as the 'short message' that was broadcast:

"This is the voice of Asteron. I am an authorised representative of the Intergalactic Mission, and I have a message for the planet Earth. Whatever ;) Even the fortean times article was wrong, the message was much longer - assuming the audio in the YT vid was the real deal.

And even if the speaker spoke the Queen's English, that wouldn't matter as they would have to speak in a manner where people could understand them. Speaking in an alien language would only bore people and they'd just put the TV on mute!

I've been awake for most of my life so that's not an issue for me.

While I'm not a doomsdayer per se, when you look at all the evidence of just the earth/universe history there are some very real and serious possibilities for bad news...

I'm much more negative about the state of the state and less optimistic for the future of the planet, especially the U.S., with so many sheeple still asleep.

I believe that whatever is happening most people will be blindsided and steamrolled, then will have no idea or understanding of what happened.

That aspect sadly acknowledged, I do believe this period is the best time in all of human history to be alive if you're awake.

It's very surreal to be in this position, fully prepared, eyes wide open and waiting.

I'm just really looking forward to whatever happens...

Right now as we type and read, everyone across the planet is being exposed to high enough frequencies to purge out old emotional baggage. Most of this emotional baggage is from this life and others before it. We can allow these things to be removed from our consciousness for us so long as we are ready to forgive them. I'm of the opinion that the 2012 ascension and the 2012 armageddon predictions are just distractions. I don't see why we, as a planet, get a "free pass" to leave the mess we created, nor do I see why the entire planet is going to be destroyed come the winter solstice of 2012.

Now, I do believe that we are up for some very strong changes in the near future, somewhere around 2012; but I do not believe these changes will end humanity. I believe they are necessary, as we are living in a system that allows for far too much destruction of both each other and our environment. Change needs to happen, and it's quite possible that whatever happens in the next several years will be the catalyst for a growth in consciousness.

I had my first full 'birth to death' past life recall when i was 12, and was tested on prediction and other phenomena when I was 6, so I've been at this a long time. I gotta say it was a bizarre experience to wake up as a 12 year old kid after dying as an old alien 'gray' type (weak star, blue light, commune-like lifestyle) after a long and frustrating life.

As for doom and 2012, I've looked ahead and found a disaster earth but not a soul in it, so I think at least in my particular understanding (all our individual visions are flavored by the emotional underpinnings of our given ego function) , we've moved off of the current most disastrous outcome timeline.
