This might seem bonkers to some and expect some sardonic response, but i was startled (although accepted it as just perception and moved on) with what i saw today on the front cover of a British newspaper. It was George Osbourne posed to kiss Christine Lagrade. Except Christine Lagrade was not her ordinary self.

She is probably a lovely person but to put it crudely, perception said Snake head!

How did you see her? In the photo she looks perfectly normal, so if she appeared odd to you, I think you would have to tell most of us?

In the news paper George Osbourne-was ordinary human but the figure beside him appeared-scalely-green-black and white- I suppose like a human snake head. Glimpsed image for a fraction of a second before ordinary visual sense saw it for as it appears to be. Never seen this lady before and in clear light appears a charming, intelligent and sophisticated lady.

Cognitive misalignment, Classic delusion perception? Overlaying of deep conditional thought? Or intuitively interpretation of subtlety, what ever the view or analysis, we would probably agree it to be unhealthly, if such fleeting images become ones fixed or primary reality.
