----------------
An opportunity here online via CNN to post questions to Egyptologist Dr Zahi Hawass (http://www.drhawass.com/).

Note that Hawass is one of the darker figures in Egyptology... and he sure knows a lot he's not telling about. Many of you will already know much about him.
Do try asking him a question or two - he just might answer. Be respectful, check your spelling, and sound intelligent and well-informed... that will help.
One question I would ask him is his view of Dr Robert Schoch's dating of the Sphinx (http://www.robertschoch.com/sphinxcontent.html). Schoch is a geologist, and observed rainwater erosion on the sandstone of the Sphinx that indicated to him that it was thousands of years older than officially considered. Personally, I'm sure he nailed it.

Unfortunately, my opinion of Hawass is so low I would be unable to hide my contempt. As such it is best I let others who are more able to speak truth to misaligned frequency sally forth.
It's interesting that you mention Schoch. I admired and respected him enormously, especially when he boldly came forth and stated unequivocally that there was water erosion that dated the Sphinx way beyond the age Hawass and university-trained Eqyptologists maintain as "accurate." I have to say I lost some of my respect for him when he wiffled and waffled over acknowledging that the underwater discoveries by the Japanese were indeed man-made structures of enormous antiquity and gigantic proportions. It was clear to me that he realized he had to tone it down and fall into line with his colleagues if he hoped to climb from Asst Prof to Asso. Prof. then full Prof.
I was pleased that Graham Hancock DID go out on his own dime to research the Japanese underwater structures and that he concurs with what appears to me to be OBVIOUS -- that those structures are NOT NATURAL ROCK FORMATIONS resulting from ocean current erosion, as Schoch stated. Schoch at least had the decency to look uncomfortable as he LIED to the camera to save (or at least not further undermine) his chance at full professorship.
Blessings.

Most questions will be answered like a politician, don't trust anything that comes out of the man's mouth. To me he skirts around things.

How I which somebody with great knowledge about the subjetc as Carmen Boulter would interview him. They know each other (of course!) but this time she would be the one asking questions!

I have dismissed him as a source of reliable information because of the monopoly Egyptologists have over what is allowed, cameras, further excavations for the lost libraries at the foot of the Sphinx...and their lack of an open mind. We all know history is not exactly as it is told and an open mind is essential, but thank you Bill for trying as always to get to the heart of a story any way you can.

Unplugged;
As a kid, I traipsed around after my father, (http://fredsitelive.com/personal/dad/) who was a "large project" civil engineer on three continents. To this day I can not figure how anyone could say this was a "natural geological formation".

Zahi Hawass questions , three stand out , given time i could probably come up with better ones
if the real owners and creators of the pyramid complex and the sphynx came back to reclaim thier rightful belongings:
a. what excuse would you give them in the likely obvious nature of thier more highly advanced technology as to why thier material possessions are in the govts and private collectors possession and not in the pyramid complex where they were left and
b. would you give them back without trying to secrete away some of the "good bits" ?
c. would you be willing to come out in public and admit to the world various distortions of fact and ommission of details that would offer a more clear perspective on what's really been going on ?

Blues....
You'd never get on the air. All three are of the "when did you stop beating your wife?" variety.
I doubt any screener would let them through.

ah ok , got it , would ask him if he thought that the creators of thier descendants might one day return , cos they obviously believed in reincarnation and left provisions for thier return , and does he have any theories on that, (more gently and gives him plenty to work with )
¤=[Post Update]=¤
creators of the pyramid complex ...does he believe the sphynx and pyramids were built at the same time or the sphynx added later
