The nature of Love is to express itself, so Love expanded and created density with physical properties. These principals could not grow and bring forth life, however, because there were no spaces within the wholeness of Love for the principles to draw breath, so Love was moved to cleave itself in two.

Two types of interactive principles resulted from the split, and these are expressed in many ways: the positive and negative electrical charges that bind matter and energy together in the dance of life; the female and male dichotomy of higher life forms; the spiritual principles of light/dark, or yin/yang; and the archetypes of the divine mother and father. The principles, being emanations of a whole, are connected to Love with threads that we refer to as magic or spirit.

The nature of the fully realised expression of Love is to return home to unity, which is only achievable through the internal integration of the dark and the light principles within the Love of the source via the threads of magic or spirit. While awaiting full expression, the nature of the principles is to oscillate from one to the other, so our physical reality is continually shifting from one to the other, rapidly at the microcosmic level, but slowly at the macrocosmic level.

Macrocosmically, we have been in the time of the father for many, many years. In this time, the principle of light has been preeminent and exalted, while the principle of the dark has been debased and seeded with fear. More and more, this has been an intentional process, as those who have prospered under the energies of the father seek to hold on to their power at all costs. The coming time signals the return of the mother for the final time, and once unity is achieved, we have the choice to move on to a realm of increased dimensional awareness, or to split again and return to the restrictions of our current limited awareness. A third choice exists also, being the withdrawal of emanation, and quiescence.

The return of the mother is actively being blocked, but it cannot be prevented. Every time we engage in fear in relation to the machinations of those who would kill the mother, we feed the mechanism of delay. When we remain unaffected by externally generated fear consciousness, and engage and relate only in Love, we hasten that day when we truly become ourselves. The choice is ours, in every second of every day: choose fear and prolong misery, or choose Love and hasten joy.

Late in the summer of 1993 we had three days of unseasonably cold rain where I live.

On day two or three of this rain, in the evening, suddenly spiritual energy began to flood into my mind and being. It was very high frequency and carried information. What flowed into my mind was information about a 26 thousand year cycle that the earth transits through. And about how we were now at the 1/2 point in the cycle, about to transit into the second half of the current cycle. And about how the ending 13 thousand year half of this current cycle has been dominated by the masculine principle, manifesting in this case as hierarchical, competitive consciousness, and how the coming half cycle would be dominated, or perhaps characterized would be better, by the feminine principle, by love, harmony and cooperation.

The experience was very joyous. I've never forgotten it.

Thank you lakewatcher, I love to read your comments, and it was a blessed day, the day you decided to join us here. There are so many correspondences in what you write here with the findings of science, and from many spiritual traditions that there can be no coincidence. I like to say that the truth of the all is a pie, and all sciences and spiritual traditions are but pieces of that pie - our personal belief is nothing at heart but a serving suggestion :)

Bon appetite!

Thank you very much music, you are very kind.

May I say that since your Avatar appears to me to be a possible newer rendition of card two of the tarot "The High Priestess", I would not be surprised to find that you are already thoroughly familiar with this series of symbols. But after reading your comments about yourself in your profile, and in consideration of your OP above, may I make a suggestion? If you are not already familiar with the tarot, you may find the symbolism of card eight of the esoteric tarot to be of interest. In some versions of the esoteric tarot, this card is numbered as card eleven. It is usually called "Strength." I personally found it of value to look at several versions of the card.

If you are familiar with it, and feel like sharing your insights about it, I would be pleased to hear them. If it is something new to you, I wouldn't mind knowing what your impression of the symbolism is, that is, if you have time for such.

With regard to your pie analogy, yep! Personally, I like quiche. :)

Regards,
lakewatcher

Justice, or strength, is there much in the way of difference between the two for the enlightened soul? To pursue justice requires strength, and without justice, strength becomes unjust, and so oppression or domination. Which is strength - 8 or 11? Is the prime number that resolves to unity stronger than the balanced double square? Does it matter? But the number is immaterial, as mathematics and numerology are but tools to bring what is within us already to the surface. Well, for starters, I am the lion, but leaning toward cancer, so introverted, but quietly secure in my power. And I do have power. As do we all, but my purity of intent means that I am fully in my power, and not held sway within the power of others. I am human, and make mistakes, but my background state is purity, and that purity is manifest as power.

From my profile, I take it you mean the vision I had as a seven year old of St George, The Maiden, and the Dragon? So, the True Trinity, as revealed to me by the feminine Christ Consciousness, Mother/Father/Magic. I have seen the Christ many times, and seen myself as the Christ many times in visions, and each time, the energy is feminine, not masculine.

Depending on the deck, I am not a user of Tarot, but the Rider deck displays the infinity sign above the head of the woman who subdues the beast. My vision concerned the uniting of the masculine and feminine within the heartspace, after the feminine has enabled the masculine to subdue his beast with the red thread. Another analogue of this is Theseus and the Minotaur where we have positive pole (Theseus), negative pole (Ariadne), unsubdued beast (Minotaur), and the blessed Magic (the Red Thread). The heart is the place in the body where what is above meets what is below. The lower three chakras are analogues of the lower three dimensions, the upper three of access to (throat), and contact with (pineal, crown), higher dimensionality. The place where these meet within the body is the human heart, also the Grail, the eye of the needle, the alchemist’s retort, the never ending tale of serpent eating tail, or the cross-over point of the INFINITY SYMBOL.

Masculine and feminine are united within the heartspace as an analogue of unity consciousness (divine union), but only after the overweening pride and ego of the masculine has allowed the feminine to instruct it into how to subdue the beast generated by its own fear. As in all things, we turn to the mother for comfort.

Higher consciousness is accessed most readily by the tandem use of the sacral and throat chakras. In Sanskrit, the throat is the “gateway to time and space”, and in the Kabbalistic tradition, the throat is but the dual sacral centre swinging upon a higher arc. The dual nature of the sacral centre is the control or otherwise of psychological fear on the one hand, and the power or perversion of the sexual impulse on the other hand. And so we come to the card Justice, where we have the expressed and unexpressed poles of sexuality and psychology hopefully (but rarely in practice) in balance. In this we see the disempowerment mechanism of society at work, wherein we are kept from higher dimensional consciousness by the twin evils of sociatally fostered psychological fear, and socialtally fostered sexual perversion or dysfunction. This also reminds us that another analogue of divine union is the uniting of the masculine and feminine within the heart during sexual congress to create magic that may be used to promote the greater common good within the whole of physical manifestation.

There are other ways that we are magically compromised, but they are not relevant to this discussion.

Thank you for your comments music.

For me, the imagery of the Strength card boils down to this: The lower self is not forcefully subdued, but rather is gradually tamed by the persistent and gentle action of love applied by the higher self. It struck me that the themes of your vision were rather closely related to this interpretation of the Strength card imagery.

It wasn't my intention to address the imagery of the Justice card, merely to note that in some decks Strength is assigned the number 8 and in some decks the number 11. I personally don't know what to make of the Golden Dawn's alteration of the numbering.

I have found the imagery in the esoteric decks, to be helpful in my study of many archetypal themes. I am aware that the tarot is used by some for purposes that are corrupt. I find that sad.

I appreciate you sharing your knowledge and insights with me. The knowledge you display above goes beyond my current knowledge, at least in the last two paragraphs I got lost, so it will take me some time to understand and absorb all that you said.

I can also see that I was actually off topic to pose my question to you about the Strength card in this thread, and that I should have sent a PM to you about it instead of posting here. My apologies.

Off topic is fine with me lakewatcher, but your insightful question is far from off topic! In the vision I describe, indeed, it is the nurturing quality of the feminine that encourages the masculine not to conquer the beast, but rather to assimilate and love the repressed aspects of self upon which we put the mask of the beast. In my view, there is no evil except that which exists in the mind that is ruled by ego and fear. I like to say, and you will probably at some stage get tired of hearing me say it (! :D) - magic is the intelligence of love. In a love based intelligence, there is no fear, no evil, nothing but joy, joy, unbounded joy.

Pure magic.

Your expression above seems to me to essentially be identical to the Jungian Shadow, or the rejected self, which we can only transmute and reintegrate when we've grown in our capacity to love enough to overcome our fear and finally face our shadow, accept it, love it (which is just finally loving our whole self) and bring our shadow back home again into the light of the Source.

Namaste my Brother

And happy Memorial Day!
