If the millions protesting get the right exposure this war will never happen. However, if only a few are willing to demostrate what they actually feel about this... America will eventually be fighting Iran and more deaths will be on the hands of the wicked and those whom did nothing to prevent it.

It's what we do and don't do that shapes our reality. As you/I/we can see...it's not something to be proud or happy about.

Ultimately, our individual action/inactions will be the final judge of our deeds.
May good will, propserity and blessings find a home with these protesters (as they always do)...they wholeheartly have my support.

Peace

Not to belabor the point but seriously ... some hundred protestors in LA vs ***HALF*** of Zombie Americans (if this is true?).

All the psychopaths need is a sniff of approval ... perhaps not even that now we are entering into (what they consider) "end times".

Polls: Half Of Americans Support Attacking Iran :frusty:

Obama uses executive order to impose harsh sanctions on Iranian Central Bank

Two new polls ominously highlight that almost half of all Americans are willing to go along with attacking Iran in order to prevent the country from developing nuclear weapons.

In a poll conducted by The Hill, forty-nine percent said military force should be used against Iran, with Sixty-two percent of likely voters adding that they were ‘somewhat’ or ‘very concerned’ about Iran attacking the United States in a terrorist event.

The poll found that just 31 percent did not approve of using military force, while 20 percent were undecided.

The same amount of voters also revealed that they are opposed to cuts in military spending in order to reduce the federal deficit and work toward balancing the budget. 40 percent said they felt reductions in military spending were acceptable.

In a separate Rasmussen poll, forty-eight percent of voters said that the U.S. should help Israel if it decides to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities.

The majority also said they believe an Israeli attack on Iran is likely to happen within the next year, with fifty percent believing it is ‘very likely’ that Iran will develop a nuclear weapon in the near future.

On Monday, president Obama announced stricter sanctions on Iran via an executive order. Obama stated that the government was freezing all Iranian government assets held or traded in the U.S., directly targeting Iran’s central bank.

“I have determined that additional sanctions are warranted, particularly in light of the deceptive practices of the Central Bank of Iran and other Iranian banks to conceal transactions of sanctioned parties, the deficiencies in Iran’s anti-money laundering regime and the weaknesses in its implementation, and the continuing and unacceptable risk posed to the international financial system by Iran’s activities,” Obama said in a letter to Congress.

“We’re not going to take options off the table. And I’ve been very clear, we’re going to do everything we can to prevent Iran from getting a nuclear weapon and creating a nuclear arms race in a volatile region,” Obama said.

“I think we have a very good estimate of when they could potentially achieve breakout capacity, what stage they’re at in terms of processing uranium,” he added.

Obama also said that the U.S. and Israel were “in lockstep” in their policy towards Iran, but that he believed Israel has not made a decision on whether or not to attack Iran.

That statement directly contradicts Defense Secretary Leon Panetta’s statement last week that he expected Israel to strike Iran in April, May or June.

Last week Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called for a stop to “chatter” among government and military personnel regarding the likelihood of an impending attack.

Intelligence gathering website Debkafile notes:

“In Israel, no knowledgeable source any longer doubts that the Netanyahu government has already reached a decision. It was instantly assumed that Maj. Gen. Amir Eshel, whose appointment as the next Israeli Air Force commander was announced Sunday, would lead the coming operation against Iran.”

The Iranian government has responded by “publishing a paper which suggested for the first time that Iran would not wait to be attacked but was preparing pre-emptive action of its own against Israel.” The Debkafile report states.

“The paper spoke of a surprise missile offensive targeting Israel’s military installations.” In addition, Ahmed Tavakoli, head of the Iranian Parliament’s research center, echoed the paper’s sentiments, calling for a missile confrontation with Israel before the year’s end.

Where's that article that was posted here were that Defense Secretary let slip that Iran doesn't have Nuclear Weapons, and the real reason this whole thing is over is preventing them from gaining a foothold in being a real nuclear power in producing power and other stuff. And, it's the nuclear industry that want this war, and the Israelites. Oh, but wait...a minute. It's not going to happen anyway. We're not going to have a war in Iran.

Were in Iraq, Afghanistan, invaded Libya, drones in Pakistan, Yemen, and next on the list is Syria and Iran. It is straight madness....

I believe in world peace and focus on it daily but I am ready to play my part in ending these wars.

The United States needs to end support of the Israeli (rothschild) state.

Runaway Train: Stop the War Against Iran — Now

CHRIS FLOYD
Empire Burlesque

Almost every day brings some new barrage of fear-mongering lies and vaporous accusations from leading members of the Obama Administration and other nabobs at the top of the political-media elite, all of them aimed relentlessly at one goal: justifying military action against Iran.

It is an almost exact replay of what we saw in 2002-2003 during the build-up to the war of aggression against Iraq – with one significant exception. The “progressive” opposition to the baseless warmongering is virtually non-existent this time around – because the warmonger-in-chief is their own champion, their partisan standard-bearer. Many voices that hurled thunderous denunciations at the Bush Regime for its brazen manipulations toward a baseless and unjustified war are now silent – that is, if they are not actively supporting the increasingly rabid saber-rattling by the Peace Laureate. To them, Obama’s re-election is more important than anything on earth: certainly more important than the thousands (or tens of thousands, or hundreds of thousands) of innocent people who will die in the long-running, far-reverberating hellstorm that an attack on Iran will create.

So now there is even less resistance to the fever-stoking against Iran. Yet what is playing out before our eyes is even more brazen than the build-up to the war crime against Iraq. Right now, in real time, in real life, the Obama administration and its allies in warmongering are telling the American people, over and over, that Iran is preparing terrorist strikes in the United States, that Iran is joining hands with Al Qaeda, that Iran is killing American soldiers in Afghanistan (just as they did in Iraq), that Iran is building long-range missiles that launch their nearly-completed nuclear weapons straight into the Heartland. The Obama administration is carefully – and deliberately and knowingly – building up the Iranian “threat” to such monstrous heights that it will be impossible to back down: Tehran terrorists striking in the Homeland with Al Qaeda while they ready their nukes to destroy America – we’re supposed to negotiate with such monsters? There is only one way to save our sweet little children from nuclear obliteration – strike the Persian aggressors before they kill us! It’s a plain case of self-defense.

There is of course absolutely no substance to any of this. There is no substance to the claim that Iran is building a nuclear weapon. And there would be no “threat” to the United States if they did build one. (And no threat to Israel either, which is sitting there with its vast nuclear arsenal, fully able – right now, in real time, in real life – to “wipe Iran from the map” at the push of a button.) The only “threat” Iran poses – with or without nuclear weapons – is to the domination of the Middle East and its oil wealth by the American elite and its international partners.

Yet here we are, genuinely on the brink of another war – a war which will make the mass-murdering, $3 trillion FUBAR in Iraq and Afghanistan look like the Summer of Love. Yet the “professional Left” is bending all its might to re-elect the perpetrator behind this Bush-like push for aggressive war. (And of course the professional Right is fully on board.) Can anything stop this runaway train?

In his latest post, Arthur Silber lays out a number of practical, effective steps that can be taken today to bring the danger of this lunatic course to public consciousness. They are there if anyone wants to take them up – especially those in the “dissident” world who already have a broad media platform, and could leverage that position to force this issue to the forefront.

Will anyone do it? Like Silber, I have my doubts. But the alternative is a numb acquiescence to an enormous evil being prepared right in front of us. If it happens, no one can say that they didn’t see it coming. When the thousands lie dying and the world grows darker, the only question will be this: Did you try to stop it, or not?
