View Full Version : FBI says paying for your morning coffee with cash a potential terrorist activity

FYI:
"Purchasing a cup of coffee using cash instead of a credit or debit card, using Google Maps to view photos of sporting event stadiums and large cities, and installing software to protect your internet privacy on your mobile phone -- these and many other mundane activities are now considered to be potential terrorist activities by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). And the agency is now distributing a new series of flyers as part of its new "Communities Against Terrorism" (CAT) program that urges shop owners and others to report such "suspicious" activity to authorities.
"The Communities Against Terrorism program is funded by the Bureau of Justice Assistance through the SLATT Program to provide law enforcement agencies with a tool to engage members of the local community in the fight against terrorism," writes SLATT.org, the program of the U.S. Department of Justice's Bureau of Justice Assistance that is promoting the program, on its website. "To assist law enforcement in the outreach effort, templates of flyers containing potential indicators have been created for distribution to specific industries" (https://www.slatt.org/CAT).
The SLATT program offers both on-site and online training (indoctrination) for coffee shop owners, financial institution employees, tattoo shop artists, and many others into how to spot potential terrorist activities. Included among the many propaganda flyers the FBI is distributing as part of the campaign are ones for how to spot terrorists at local hobby shops and beauty supply stores, for instance, as well as flyers for owners of farm supply and home improvement stores (http://publicintelligence.net/fbi-suspicious-activity-reporting-flyers/).
This little gem warns internet cafe owners to watch out for and report customers that always pay for their coffee with cash, as they could be terrorists (http://info.publicintelligence.net). Another ridiculous flyer intended for owners of boat shops warns them to be on the lookout for people interested in becoming certified scuba divers, as they could be terrorists (FBI - Communities Against Terrorism - Potential Indicators of Terrorist - Activities Related to Dive/Boat Shops (pdf) (http://info.publicintelligence.net/FBI-SuspiciousActivity/Internet_Cafe.pdf)).
Be sure to check out the entire set of flyers here:
http://publicintelligence.net/fbi-suspicious-activity-reporting-flyers/
A few years ago, this type of outlandish fear-mongering and Stasi-style spying on citizens would have been considered a crazy conspiracy theory by many. But today, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) with its "See Something, Say Something" campaign, the U.S. Transportation Security Administration's (TSA) "First Observer" citizen spying program, and the TSA's Visible Intermodal Prevention and Response" (VIPR) internal checkpoint force, together with the new FBI spying program, are making this police state nightmare in America a tangible reality."

Can't keep up. They are laying it on thick, brick by brick. Now I just sort of nod my head, grimace, and then go on with my day. If they start arresting everyone (we've all done something now to get on their list), then it isn't America anymore. Just another third rate dictatorship. I see how those people in such countries live their lives. Full of fear and trying to just survive. Theirs is a testament on what to do when everything you love turns to dust.

As long as you don't use your store loyalty card which is designed to track people who pay by cash!

They are pushing and pushing people against the wall. Maybe this is the only way that those who are loosing their rights finely do something about it. Maybe it's the brutal way to say wake up!

Is the USA populace really that dumbed down, to let these kinds of obvious ensnarement and loss of basic freedoms pass passively?
Seriously, if this happened in a dictatorship, the people would resist it.
If these practices were to take place in let's say Germany or France, not to mention Poland or Tsjechia (former eastblock states), the officials responsible would be fired and prosecuted the next day, because the populace will be outraged.
wtf is going on in the US, its really impossible to understand.

So all the poor that don't have good credit to have a card, are now suspected terrorist?
Paranoia, does not deserve positions. Facts should be the basis of decision making, not some trumped up warmongering weapon's dealing dream.
Oooooo, these people make me so mad, stereotyping the whole populace, so they can have a war right in this country among the sane citizens and those who are still asleep and gullible.
Buckle up people, we're in for a bumpy ride if we allow this. Who's making these laws, Chertoff?
He's a Cheney droid of facist plans of the 70's.
Why do older men who have lived a full life, continue to kill off the young in mindless wars of profit?
This is the focus, and I am about, retiring the old phychos. Is there any alzheimers in the house of natural causes? The longer they are here doing this, the worse it will tick off the camouflage squads of militants and they's simply don't like credit cards extortion. The companies that own the cards are now a "pay to join to be a citizen?"
Amazing. What type of maladjusted planning is this?
Talk about needing Divine Intervention, Hitler made these same moves, only his favorite was "papers? Have your papers ready." History repeating the cycle that wasn't solved after WW2. America took these NAZI criminals under their wing through Bushs, and created a nightmare world of delusion and distraction, until all the departments of takeover, were in place for a "super dept of facist, to dictate to the lower authorities, what their plans are.
God we need all the help we can get, if we can't stop their plan. It is God Source's call, judgement and we will fight side by side against those that harm the innocent.
World waking up to common sense, and the elites still refuse to quit gaming US like puppets or dolls.
Amazing.

Reading through the triggers for each area of potential concern literally points the finger at everybody in this entire country!
I, for one, have really cut down on using credit for purchases. I used to not carry much cash at all (maybe $20-50 total), but now I carry much more than that and strive to pay for everything I can with cash. I will use credit cards for some online purchases (and have focused more and more on local businesses or small independent websites even if the items cost more...)

They've finished their study session on China's government system and are trying to enact it themselves as they want a population they can beat up, mistreat and walk all over without resistance or care for what they are doing.
I am still amazed that the US, and Australiaian citizens are so eager/put up no resistance to it.
I know they controll the media, but realy, is it that hard for us to see/know what is wrong and do something about it?? Similar to how you can hear about a video of someone being hit by a car, and have people just stand there and stare and not bother to assist..... yet you see another video clip of a dog that has been hit by a car on a fricking freeway that is dragged to safety, in the middle of ongoing traffic, by another dog. (without being told whats wrong by someone like the media that something is wrong or they should be getting angry/active/protest/do something about it?)
It is times like this i am so ashamed of being part of the human race.
I'd have more pride in what i was if i'd have been incarnated as a Maggot this lifetime.
I realy hope things change.

i dont know about the last two sources for that article, but infowars is the site of Alex Jones (which has evidently been merged with his main site prisonplanet.com). Alex claims to be a giant whistleblower and has already admitted that TPTB leave him alone because they don't want "his wrath". I suspect that he is left alone because he does such a great job of hatemongering and gets people riled up and ready to fight. HMMM... all that strong negativity ... makes for a good way to fall into their trap or at the very least increase your belief in their power over you.

I am not one in favor of the paranoid mindset of "omg they're following me", and I certainly don't like where this looks like it is moving toward, but I already have too much paperwork I need to file and store, and paying for stuff with a debit card helps me avoid having to keep track of a myriad of little sales tickets, and all the purchases are listed on my bank statement if I ever need to research or verify anything.
EDIT: plus (and this is a big one) it helps me avoid impluse spending on that junk food meal or the useless shiny thing ...

Hi Stan, I go to my local supermarket , buy the food that I need including my coffee bag, use my debit card and drink coffee at home with family.
I spend less money than in a coffee shop. I drink my morning coffee at home and then go out and attend my business.
You are right, staying at home doesn't solve the problem. I never said staying at home would solve any problems, just preparing my coffee at home.

With that See Something, Say Something Campaign doesn't that just take us right back to the 1690's and the Witch Hunts? I seriously thought this was 2012 not 1690. Bugger it, I'm sticking to paying cash , and guess what...next year when they require Bio-Chipping here in US for passports and drivers licenses, I'm going to refuse to comply with those too. Screw them and wanting to turn us all into a bunch of CyBorgs.

I don't think Americans or Westerners are dumb. They are brainwashed. I just watch a movie and it was 100% propaganda. Nothing in it was real or the truth. Very sad indeed ("Contagion"). If I hadn't known better already (from being an reader of PA and so on), I would have believed every word and I suppose most if not all people do (of this movie.....'vaccines are good for you' garbage).

A lot of people commented and said, "Americans what's wrong with you guys, why don't you do something about it etc." What do we do?? When a country has a monopoly on force - what can we do? Any suggestiongs?
The thing is, all of these draconian measures being taken are so subtle and non-threatening at the moment, nobody will think it's a big deal...

Is this legit, or just some advert for a website. All the public intelligence links in the OP point to the same home page.
Has this been corroborated?
Anyone got who owns a coffee shop get the flyer?

Sorry I was mistaken, the OP has not copied the links correctly. Follow the links in the source article.
I'm going to download the flyers and see if they give me any clues on causing mischief :)

Here is an example of the internet cafe one (attached)
I've read most of them now.
I conclude that they are common sense and the sort of thing that if I were in charge of genuine anti-terrorism, I would be very happy for people in the businesses targeted by these flyers were aware of the tell-tale factors.
Of course that is if there was guenuine terrorism problems and not just a softening up for a PANC style full-spectrum dominance exercise being played out

Fill a population with fluoride from birth and you will get the passivity, dumbing down and docility you are seeing in the population. Itʻs in the vast majority of food grown with water; in beer and wine, eggs and apples, rice and chicken. This includes organically grown fruits, vegetables, grain and animal products.
Buy a water filter thinking youʻll drink cleaner water, but read the small print on the box. Is fluoride is added to the filter? I have found that some do just this.
Fluoride is only a small part of the controls that are in place here.

i pay my coffee with cash because the amount is too small and the 2% the coffee shop pays to the credit cards company is not worth it. So they prefer my cash and I prefer to pay with the outstanding change I always have to pay for parking.
Does that make us both, the coffee shop owner and me, terrorists? ridiculous! Mostly that the said coffee shop is always full of cops paying cash as well.

Let me take a crack at answering this. America, the UNITED STATES, INC. corporation went from infancy to the largest economy in the world, larger than the next six economies combined, in about 100 years, with only 300 million people today. How did they do it and why?
My take, is that early in the 1900's, the global power elite wanted and needed a society to quickly engineer the emerging technology, so they decided that the US would be the best place to do so, since it was a fairly new country and not impeded culturally with ancient history and notions, and was rich in natural resources. They could implant any cultural notions they wanted to further their agenda. So, they imported the best scientists and researchers from all over the world and began to expand the money supply exponentially, for at least the last 50 to 60 years. They actually allowed this all over the world to some extent.
Now, we here in the US acquired every convenience known to man, and were taught that we were the bastion of freedom and liberty, self determination and rugged individualism, while in reality we wound up being the global military force and the most imperialistic country on the planet. This was done to further the globalist agenda, not in the hearts and minds of the American people.
So, we were conditioned by our schools and churches to believe certain things, all the while having all of our needs excessively met and catered to, while the lie was being perpetuated without our knowledge. Most American's are good hearted decent people, just like people are around the rest of the world.
One thing which may wind up being a problem for these global elite, which they did not count on, is that we got a good dose of quasi freedom and liberty, and this generation has the chance to keep it and not allow the slavery of the whole planet. American's are heavily armed. We will see if they are truly dumbed down or if they are just asleep and about to wake up.
