Australia has grown from a stolen country used as gaol (jail), to the "lucky country", and now the political arse (ass) lickers of the world. There is no excuse for the direction of the political administration of this country - only the understanding that this country has never been a nation unto itself, since invasion day 1788.

We are owned by the United States of America. Being sold off, day-by-day, to any and all international corporations (satanic pedophiles), wishing to frack our small percentage of useable farm land.

I'd move to New Zealand, but theyre twice as f**ked.

http://antemedius.com/content/expendable-story-schapelle-corby

The story of Schapelle Corby - the story of the politicial sacrifice of a young Australian woman who en route to a vacation in Bali was sentenced to 20 years in a Bali prison when 4 kilos of marijuana were found in her boogie board, who has always maintained her innocence and whose incarceration has resulted in severe mental illness - is the story of how a western government wilfully withheld vital evidence from a court of law, deceived its public, orchestrated an unprecedented media campaign, and ruthlessly deployed its organs of state against one of its own citizens.

This is a frightening but entirely true narrative; a grotesque political horror story which is still unfolding today. It exposes what happens when an individual’s human rights conflict with strategic political need. It reveals the ruthless use of a government’s organs of state, and a regime of unprecedented opinion management, against a single working class woman and her desperate family.

It presents, and demonstrates, the crushing, pre-meditated, and often brutal acts which a western government is prepared to inflict upon a helpless citizen, in pursuit of political expediency.

The film is an hour and 42 minutes long - you can watch it here or watch it on the website http://www.expendable.tv

In addition to the film, Expendable says evidential proof of every abuse documented in the film is available in the report and exhibit sections of the website.

I would love to see more Aussies commenting on this! I tried to get Jackovest to watch it but he is completely decided that she is guilty. My comment was that if the evidence stated on this movie is false then the Australian government would be suing the film makers big time!! And yet! Nothing!

Thank you Gio and I do see Aussies commenting here, thanks! I thought the movie was quite powerful and to the point. As a kiwi I have known about this case but didn't really take much notice. This movie has certainly opened my eyes. Aussie government is ignoring it!? That is quite damning to them. We have our own miscarriages of justice here, some of which have been turned around, but this case involving Govt and police corruption, should be a catalyst for huge change!!

Hello Everyone: I remember when this young lady was arrested. The first thought I had was she was innocent! There hasn't been any information on this case in my part of the planet since she was put in jail by someone elses guilty act. At the time I thought she would be out of prison within days or weeks. To see this travesty of justice and to see a young women treated worse than an animal is very sickening! To think that humans are capable of putting so much blunt hate and anger at one innocent person really puts out human race in jeopardy.
From the judge right down to the australia government for not looking out for the innocent.
There needs to be a great push by someone with the ability to get this documentary to every man, woman and child in australia, indonesia and the rest of the world. To show the very criminals that put this young woman away that we as human beings are NOT going to take it anymore!
Remember the saying: "I didn't say anything and when they come for me there will be NO one to say anything for me!" Do we really want this on all of us too for doing nothing?
Let's get this young innocent gal home with her family! We all have the ability to make it happen.

Great thread, thank you for bringing this tragic injustice to the attention of PA Max really needs help getting the information on the details of this case out to the general public, it's obvious Schapelle is nothing more than a scapegoat who's been set up to take the fall for high level drug running.

Please do what you can to help bring attention to Schapelle's case, maybe the Australian/Indonesian government's will realize it's in their best interest to release Ms Corby, granting her freedom...thank you!

Here's Max's show from last week where he dedicates most of the show to this Schapelles case

Yes, this case was (and still is) a real tragedy.
Even blind Freddy (escuse the Aussie colloquealism) could see that this young lady was set up right from the get go.
It's a real shame she's not been given more support from the Australian government or the Australian people, for that matter.
Essentially, she's been left over there to rot in that prison with little to no (serious) effort being made to bring her back home.
Each of you reading this should also understand that Indonesian prisons are NOTHING like prisons in Western countries, they are rough, tough and filthy beyond belief!
The Australian media has done a very good job of perfveting and manipulating public opinion with regspect to Schapelle's case.
They have essentially painted Schapelle and other members of her family as a bunch of hard core drug users, pushers and dealers in an effort to make Schapelle look "obviously guilty".
So, sadly, the general public opinion here in Australia is that she's guilty and simply got what she deserved.
The majority of the population are completely oblivious to the fact that our governement (at its highest levels) are involved in full blown drug trafficking operations.
And, if you tried to suggest that was the case to the common Aussie out on the street they would most likely look at you like you were a total nut job.
So, this is what we're up against.
A full blown coverup, instigated and perpetuated by the very people who most Aussies assume are there to protect and serve them.
Things in Austalia are going from bad, to worse, to downright deplorable.
And yet, the majority of the population are either completely ignorant of what is going on, or just too lazy/apathetic to get off their arses and do something about it.
What a sad and sorry state of affairs we are in.
I used to be proud to be an Aussie, in many ways I still am, but when I see stuff like this going on it really makes me wonder why.
