View Full Version : Minding Our Own Business

As we can observe from the frequent contentiousness within our own camp, humans by habit are very quick to judge each other, even though we're totally unqualified to do so.

Essentially, we simply do not have access to the necessary and relevant background information required to make an accurate assessment of others while incarnating in this lower density virtual reality program.

Nobody here sees the whole picture -- that's just the nature of this game. If we did, it would prevent us from believing this human experience is real, which is necessary in order to get what we want out of the experience.

Nevertheless, most of us tend to be much more concerned about the apparent faults and failings of others, and so neglect to look into our own mirror to see the scary mess pocked with oozing wounds and warts of cummulative hatred, greed, and envy staring right back at us.

We arrive here alone and we depart alone -- that's a good indication that we are here to attend to our own business first and foremost. The rest of our fellow billions of earthlings are likewise here to do the same (save for any compassionate volunteers who may stop by to help us sort it out).

As a rule, nobody can help another until they themselves get their own house in order, and that's a full time job for each one of us. Consequently, we need not dwell on how others are doing -- whether they're failing to meet our imaginary standards, or are less awake then we believe ourselves to be, or are missing some key point we feel privy to (like so-called "spiritual" knowledge). We have our own work to do right now, and it's plenty enough to occupy us for the duration.

And what's that work? If we're here, in this particular psycho-physical realm (or classroom, if you will), it basically consists of learning how to "do the right thing", how to behave, regardless of the situation (or test) we find ourselves immersed in. When that effort becomes spontaneous, then graduation time is near, and we're ready to move on beyond elementary school (or boot camp).

Throwing stones, glass houses, all that. I hear ya. This understanding is basic amongst most spiritual paths, that our individual work is paramount. I think perhaps it is our personal communicative skillsets that are at issue. Along with the fact that in this venue there are many consciousness levels, from very confrontational and combative to placid and accepting. The interplay between oppositional alignments, to some extent. Like life, the world, eh? Perhaps a microcosmic representation of macrocosmic truths? Hm?

Good points, Brother!

Although we all may be coming from different levels of awareness, everyone wants to love and be loved -- that's the simple truth. To the extent we complicate that by superimposing all sorts of arbitrary conditions that must be met by others to satisfy our provisional prejudices is the same extent to which we become bewildered, fearful, and antagonistic when our expectations are not satisfied.

Provisional prejudices, that is certainly the case. To a large extent, I am of the understanding that much of that may be biological, in our brain's wiring. Our neurons fire together through synapses, connecting interrelated bits of data in streams and pools of light, we become hardwired into our beliefs. Changing that hardwiring engages the hypothalamus which sends neuro-peptides into our cells, changing thier structure to reflect our belief system, irregardless to any relationship those beliefs might have with greater or lesser truths. Change gives rise to fear, which gives rise to anger and other emotions, which often fuel our interactions when discussing the ephemeral 'realities' that we mistake for material 'realities' that we call belief and "small t" truth. Our expectations become further encouragement to hard-wire ourselves further unless we've also cultivated the capacity to incorporate new ideas into our 'belief systems', thereby leaving a back-door in our brains that gives us a way out somewhere this side of trauma to change.

That takes a while, generally, from what I've seen, as we are not generally taught how to learn here in the West very well in our school systems and so our brains become bogged down quite early with misconceptions about our true capacities as well as the nature of reality and the subjectivity of our perceptions.

I think people are quick to develop a sense of loftiness at times, attributed to their perspective (which is unique). This can slow down detachment from the Ego. People have their tit-for-tat debates, and if they can't see the folly in it, then leave them to it.

Often, we don't listen enough, for we are merely waiting for our turn to speak. I'm sure we can learn at least a little from opposing opinions, or at least we could try to understand the other person's perspective.

You raise some interesting points, Rahkyt. Indeed we are hardwired. I'm sure it is intentional that we have turned out the way we have in the west. Many constructs have been created and maintained to stop us realising our true potential, which is limitless.

Well said!

That takes a while, generally, from what I've seen, as we are not generally taught how to learn here in the West very well in our school systems and so our brains become bogged down quite early with misconceptions about our true capacities as well as the nature of reality and the subjectivity of our perceptions.

That's why we're given plenty of time -- all the time in the world -- but it is within our power now to recognize the inherent limitations of the traditional education system and make the necessary changes for the new ones coming in. I really like what Matias de Stefano has said in this regard:

"For this to happen it is necessary to break the education systems we are used to, which is based on memorizing, competition, abuse of authority, lack of creativity and imagination. The importance of what's mental over what comes from the emotions. A new system should base itself on the emotions, learning through experimentation and discovery that encourages integration.

This is what can adapt best to an indigo's vibration, because it hasn't got a system that directly conducts the learning of the person. It's a wide system that accepts any type of system, ancient, modern and even future. It allows an extension of the vision of learning that goes further than just educating. It goes towards the integration of the Human Being, from when one is born until one dies.

It allows every pedagogical system to unite and debate, not to create a new school, but to create a new way of learning. It goes further than what any of us have had to come and work for in the education. This is actually why us indigos and crystals have come here for: to learn and to help learn. To learn and to help learn, and nothing else.

Narrator: Where did we learn about the ecosystems? Visiting a forest or with a photograph in a book?

Where did we learn about how to use our bodies? Dancing and playing or in a notebook with complex words?

How do we learn a language? Writing and reading or communicating ourselves with a group?

How do we learn the Theorem of Pythagoras? Memorizing the formula or discovering it the same way Pythagoras did?

We know that the Earth spins around the sun, but do we ever look up at the sky trying to understand why?

So learning happens through practice and experience, not theorizing. The theory is only useful to understand a part of what's important. Some tools with which one can work with an indigo child: well, more than work, is to help guide so they can fulfill their mission, is that everything they teach, that is useful, for example, things they have to do at home, school or in society, must be applicable inside the school, house and society. They mustn’t teach useless things like learning every bone in the body, every element in the cell or complex mathematics.

We are Beings (indigo/crystal) that come from the 6th to 13th dimension, to try to promote the 4th and 5th dimension inside the 3rd. If they close us in a class to teach us mathematics of the 2nd dimension, when we are promoting the 5th, it's a bit difficult. So everything that is taught should be applicable to the everyday life, because that is really where our job is, where we must all work.

Now the world can be seen in the 4th dimension, it's wide and circular towards all directions. So to use a blackboard to give the information is not a positive thing, but it would be to use the walls, it's a tool, all the kids now write on the walls. What they use the least is the blackboard of the class.

Also, they must be taught to not feel afraid of nature, the dark, thunder, wind... this would help them a lot to move in the integration of things and not in the polarity of things.

But the most important thing to manage this is obviously the parents and teachers. They are the first ones that have to change their vision, and the first ones that have to break with their concepts about sociability. This means, the parents for us... stop being parents. Parents really should start to be guides. Guides of life, not to tell us what must be done and how. They should give advice about what is best to do, so to be a guide or companion.

The same with the teacher, he shouldn't be someone who tells you what you have to learn. The teacher should be someone who learns with the student, a learning companion. Someone with who you can reach an argument to learn, and it doesn't matter how much one thinks they know about something, there is always something new to understand. And it must be learned together.

So to take into consideration that the parents must become guides, and the teachers must become companions."

Hi...

Wonderful posts, it's like music to my ears...(thanks)

But dropping a line, there a conversation seem stuck. Might get a calm soul to take a step back and see the larger picture, while the next one might be insulted.
This we have no control over, just do what feels right I would say.

I like the quote you shared. Excellent. A more holistic and synthetic modality of learning. As an educator, I approve. I've seen firsthand the depravations of the traditional learning methods and the state of young adults - and older - when challenged with information outside of the traditional struture. I've been lectured by religious students, complained about to my departments, turned against by classrooms lost deep within the control structure and unaware even of its existence. It is programming, to be sure. Even though I'm not in the classroom presently, my memories of those students in whose eyes I got to witness the birth of a brighter light once they realized that the world was more wonderful than they'd been taught, were well worth everything that has happened to me because of my unwillingness to continue the indoctrination process. Don't get me started on the education system, I can go on for days. :)

In thinking of the above, another thought came to me. A mind in perfect stillness, one that has reached a point where it is no longer concerned by past and future, that has learned to exist in the Now, that has overcome their emotional triggers, must, according to the science that I described above, look like the heavens above.

Such a mind must consist of Neurons firing, bright in the mind as in the sky above, brilliant points of light co-existing within the physical framework of the brain yet independent, each interacting with the other based upon immediate input rather than pre-determined or ingrained pathways of relational agreement. This must speed up the thought process to approximate a multi-dimensional consciousness and awareness, as there are no physical limitations as are imposed upon the brain by the firing of neurons and the subsequent creation of synapses. Instead, synapses must form and dissolve immediately - upon conclusion of the thought process, words or actions - leaving the Neurons in a continuous state of constant readiness to be queried by life, by each moment, by experience, fresh and able to respond in unique and holistic manners to whatever life brings. The connection of this super-structure to the resonant field of quantum entanglement, of conscious awareness that connects us and within we all exist would then be immediately accessible and we would truly become One, united. All sidhis must be available in this state, as it must be the evolution of the physical station (body) in preparation to live that state called enlightenment or to exist able to access that non-physical location called nirvana. In another parlance, the form of multi-dimensional awareness necessary to be able to co-exist at the galatic scale with entities and civilizations whose technologies and cultures have already reached this state of evolution.

Another example of "as above, so below", perhaps.

Being aware is the beginning of repair and growth & change.

Indeed. Actually becoming aware of the existence of the hardwiring renders it malleable to further collapse. This thread has resulted in a new blog post, which this discussion with Another Bob gave me the impetus to write.

Provisional Prejudices and the Brain: Peace and the manifestation of BEing (http://rahkyt.wordpress.com/2012/02/14/provisional-prejudices-and-the-brain-peace-and-the-manifestation-of-being/)

Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye. ~ Matthew 7:5

This understanding is basic amongst most spiritual paths, that our individual work is paramount. Often, when we engage in combative or argumentative stances, it is not the argument persay that is at issue. It is not some abstract ideal of right or wrong which motivates our pursuit of an abstract ideal. It is really our personal communicative skillsets and our mindsets that are at issue.

There are many consciousness levels, from very confrontational and combative to placid and accepting. We engage others of different mindsets constantly. In the office, in the classroom, on the streets, in the clubs and bars, churches, social gatherings, wherever humans get together to interact, we are co-creating the moment, interacting at the level of neurons and synapases, engaging the creative resonant field that surrounds us in a constant and ever-shifting interplay of perception, a dance of sometimes oppositional alignments, or mutually agreeable associations. This is the very stuff of life, that which we come here to engage in, a microcosmic representation of macrocosmic truths. The undulation of yin and yang around the median reality which binds them both in eternal harmonic resonance.

Provisional prejudices are our subjective stances defined, we are who we think we are and our limitations are exactly what we believe them to be, belief being key to ego formation. To a large extent, much of this process is biological, a part of our brain’s wiring. Our neurons fire together through synapses, connecting interrelated bits of data in streams and pools of light and we become hardwired into our beliefs. Changing that hardwiring becomes difficult, because our brains tend to follow the paths of least resistance, and synapses, once formed, are therefore wired together and will fire together thereafter unless new connections are made.

Thanks Bob! :clap2:

"What fires together, wires together" Ramtha

Takes 29 days of daily repitition,ie, speaking, visualization, of something we wish to change in ourselves (ie, a limiting belief) for a baby neuron to become hardwired and therefore, reality!

Great thread! Love hanging round while you two swap wisdom!

Completely true what Matias di Stefano said, but I would like to twist the last sentence.
At one point the kids become guides to their parents and teachers. When kids are reminding their teacher to be more "like a kid".

Or what kids are showing us everyday...be open to learn, be open to experiences and do not have fear.
The very kiddy kids are moreorless pure to experience, the learn from experience so lets do not get stuck in "one thing"
And over and over again

And this change of the educational system, I can see in my friends which are 0% spiritual, or they maybe are and dont have the word "spiritual" attached to it

Indoctrination versus let them figure it out with guidance, knowledge and help
