View Full Version : Carbonated Drinks: Learn the Truth

A study by a Brazilian Professor from Matto Grosso Federal University has revealed the shocking truth about the effects of having a can of a carbonated drink. Learn what happens inside your body in the sixty minutes after you glug down your refreshing sizzling drink…and think carefully!
After just ten minutes, 10 teaspoons of sugar hit your body, 100% of the daily recommended dose. You do not immediately vomit from the overwhelming sweetness because the Phosphoric acid in the drink cuts the taste.
After twenty minutes, the level of sugar in your blood erupts, forcing a rush of insulin. The liver responds by turning all the sugar it receives into fat.
After forty minutes, the caffeine absorption is complete. Your pupils dilate, blood pressure rises, the liver responds by pumping more sugar into your bloodstream. Adenosine receptors in the brain are now blocked, preventing drowsiness and giving you an energy rush.
After 45, the body increases dopamine production stimulating the pleasure centers. This same process takes place with the consumption of heroin, for example.
50 minutes. The phosphoric acid binds calcium, magnesium and zinc in the intestine, increasing the metabolism. High doses of sugar and artificial sweeteners also increase Calcium excretion in the urine, or in other words, you are urinating your bones away, one of the causes of Osteoporosis.
60 minutes: One hour after consuming. The caffeine's diuretic properties come into play. You urinate. Now it is guaranteed that will be putting out of your system calcium, magnesium and zinc, which your bones need. As time goes on, you'll experience a sugar crash. You'll be cranky. You will already have excreted everything that was in the drink, but also essential properties which your body needs.
Then you’ll reach for another one.
No wonder President Vargas banned Cola from Brazil.......eh....did he ??? ;)

Yep. Sugar is the scourge of our current society, and soda is the carrier. I stopped consuming refined sugar and grains a couple of years ago due to a reoccurring illness, and not only did the illness go away but so did countless other problems that I didn't even realize were problems.
It's quite disgusting really; here in the states you can't buy many foods without sugar or corn syrup. Almost all canned foods have it, and most packaged foods are grain or bread based. Tt comes as no surprise that such a large portion of the population are overweight and suffer from a wide-array of health issues.

Why not using "good" water , source (bottled) or purified water, with a drop of lemon in it.
A good refreshing taste and it cleanses your teeth and intestines in the mean time !!
And....cheap !!!
OK it doesn't taste sweet, but you get used to that.
The US really has a sugar issue. Even the bread in your country tastes so sweet that I can't eat it.
Some shops sell what they call the "French Country Bread" which is more to the European taste :)
Yes I agree....sugar is poison.

You are fooling yourself if you drink apple or grape juice. Any juice is simply pure sugar. Sugar is sugar, with a few exceptions. Xylitol is a sugar that does not disrupt normal body function. It's actually good for killing bacteria in the mouth and sinuses. Xclear is a good nasal spary containing Xylitol. No, do not drink apple or any juice. You are wasting your money and harming your body. Eat the fruit itself!

Great Info thank you for sharing it..
Stay away from diet drinks too!!
As the most widely used non-nutritive sweetener in the world, aspartame, sold as NutraSweet or Equal, can be found in thousands of foods, personal care products, and pharmaceuticals. Though it has been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, many nutritionists and researchers believe it is far from safe. In fact, the FDA has received more complaints about adverse reactions from the artificial sweetener than for all other food additives combined.

Thank you, celine, for allowing me the opportunity to reveal more evidence that the Mass of Humanity is being controlled, and lied to.
By your mention of aspartame, you have opened the door to an entire evidential trail. Anyone knowing the whole aspartame story will immediately recognize the principal participants involved:
http://www.rense.com/general33/legal.htm
While reading through the link you provided I was reminded of what Jim Marrs has so often said, "the Nazis didn't loose the Second World War, the German people did".
Formaldehyde (according to your linked article, the chemical aspartame breaks-down to in the body) was used by the Nazis in the concentration camps in connection to heinous medical experiments. Is it any surprise to learn modern day Nazis (the likes of those responsible for legalizing aspartame) are behind the manipulation from the fog of the smoke-and-mirrors?
Here's an article that might help to tie-together the dangling loose ends:

Sorry to hear that...we Americans are just terrible sugar loving people...gotta watch us!
No wonder President Vargas banned Cola from Brazil!
How do you know that President Vargas banned cola from Brazil? Vargas was president from 1951 until 1954, and the other president Vargas was president from 1930 to 1945. I like to search statements made by people and this was one statement not found through a search. Brazil still sells soda's from what I can tell, and the only thing I see about President Vargas banning cola is this statement!
Everybody should know by now that soda is bad for a person...it's been a known fact for quite some time! In fact, many items up for sale are known to be bad for a person, yet people still buy the stuff. I believe it's up to each ADULT person to make their own choices in what to buy and consume, and when the government starts butting in telling us what we can and cannot buy, then we are allowing them to become our parent telling us what we can and cannot do, or buy, or eat, or drink...right?
I see a lot of controversies from people. On one hand they don't want the government telling them what they can and cannot do, yet on the other hand they allow them to step in and tell them what they can and cannot eat. If we allow them to make a decision on food, then they will see no reason why they shouldn't step in on many other issues. Ok, I'll hush up now :tape2:

I'll throw in my vote for coconut water as well. I love it, it's absolutely refreshing when it's ice cold; I like to carry a liter when I go running, with a few drops of lime juice added.
And for you guys/gals that have never tried it, be sure to get the coconut water and not the coconut milk. You might not be to pleased with a mouthful of thick coconut fat :p

its more then "knowing it is bad for us"..
it is understanding the tools that are being used to manipulate us.
Once we know...we are better armed to awaken ourselves to the truths surrounding us.

Many people know, yet they don't care! They know what they like and they continue on with their eating and drinking habits. Don't you ever hear people say..."Gotta die of something" They know, so why allow Uncle to step in and take away because they choose not to stop? Goes the same with smokers. They know, they understand, yet they continue on!

PS. The air you breath may be bad for you, and so the water too; the food has been poisoned, and the additives too; so what are we to do - do not eat, do not drink, do not breath, do not get up in the morning because it might be bad for you? Be wise, be smart, be humble, but most of all BE YOU. :)

This is one the reasons why you shouldn't waste your money on any shampoos anyway, its a proven waste of money not to mention the long run health effects many of the chemicals can do to your body alone.now i am only putting down info about why is a waste of money if you wanna know the negative health effects do your research.Use that money to buy some extra veggies or fruits perhaps!!
It’s the dirty little secret shampoo companies don’t want you to know—when you wash your hair with one of those nutrient-rich shampoos, most of the nutrients and active ingredients in the product don’t actually end up in your hair, they wind up down the drain… along with all the money you spent on the shampoo.
Why does this happen? Because the shampoo molecules they contain are too large to penetrate the cells of hair and more importantly the tiny hair follicles where our hair actually grows. They sit atop the follicle until we wash them away.
Why is that a problem? Think about it this way—if you wanted to fertilize a plant, where would you pour the fertilizer? On the leaves? Of course not! You’d pour the fertilizer on the root and the soil where it’s needed most. Our hair works basically the same way—if you want to treat your hair right, you need to treat the roots.
But if regular shampoo can’t penetrate the hair follicles where our roots grow, what are we supposed to do?
Fortunately, a California company called Kronos decided to tackle this problem. Their team of researchers designed a more-effective hair care system —one that contains tiny microscopic spheres so small that they penetrate hair follicles and deliver nutrients to where they’re needed most. They call it “T-Sfere Technology”.
Once they had solved the delivery method dilemma, they turned their attention to formulating ingredients that targeted the 5 most significant signs of damaged hair:
1. Thinning hair that lacks volume
2. Dry, frizzy, unmanageable hair
3. Limp lackluster hair
4. Damaged hair with split ends
5. Hair with poor color retention
Does it work? Check out the results from the product’s clinical testing. In a recent study, the Kronos system was shown boost hair volume and body by an unprecedented 96%; increase hair hydration by 91%; improve luster and shine by 96%; reduce split ends and breakage by 96%; and virtually eliminate color fading for up to four weeks. It’s rare that a shampoo can provide so many amazing benefits.
Already, Kronos has quickly become one of the most talked about hair care systems out there. It was recently featured on the Today show and was rated the #1 Overnight Hair Treatment product by The Good Housekeeping Institute.
Since Kronos is still relatively new, the company is offering a limited amount of free trials of its 2-piece introductory kit, just so new customers can see the results for themselves before deciding whether or not they want to pay for their products.
The special trial includes a full, 60-day supply of two products that each feature the line's key ingredient complexes and delivery technology. In addition to samples of Kronos Shampoo and Kronos Conditioner, you get to try a full size of Phyx Overnight Repair Masque, that repairs damaged hair while you sleep, and the Liquid Theory Conditioning Detangler, that protects hair from thermal damage due to heat styling. You won’t get benefits like this from shampoo and conditioner alone.
If you want to try this new way to shampoo, visit the Kronos website to see if these special Internet free trials are still being offered.
P/s I am not in any way advertising this kronos product,i dont use anything to clean my hair then water itself and it works great, eating almonds and other nuts does wonder for the hair!:yo:

And there is nothing wrong with just plain water for your body either !!
You hardly need a towel afterwards. The water just "runs" off your body !

And don't forget the almonds and other nuts . Does wonder for hair and skin !!!

Check out the reviews for Kronos hair products there seems to be a lot of problems with their return policies ... As a Hairdresser I have always recommended washing hair no more than once a week but you can rinse with water every day to move the oils around especially for dry or frizzy hair.

Ha, ha, ha !!
Well this never goes without a good brush with a towel, or whatever, afterwards (or before, since regularly dry brushing the skin is best)
http://www.naturalhealthtechniques.com/healingtechniques/dry_brushing_technique.htm
They are mostly the dead skin cells that are the problem, or better, it's bacteria that eats dead skin cells and thrives in moist conditions that creates an unpleasant odor that start smelling when you don't remove them. (as you have to put on clean clothes without dead cells)
But dead skin cells alone smell as well !!...oh well...do they??? LOL

Once or twice a week I use some good quality olive oil soap without perfume to clean my "three armpits"
For the rest of the days, a good rub-on the-pits under the hot water shower is OK with me. LOL

Fruit juices are full of sugar too, but many of them (if pure) are naturally occuring sugars granted by the earth......same effects, but everything in moderation. Same as caffeine. Well, I really can't speak for anybody out there as to if they are clean or not clean after their shower. I can only speak for myself. At the present moment, I am cooking for my mom at her restaurant, and every night I go home with grease all over my face, neck, and arms. What removes the onion odors from my hands is Coconut Oil. :)

Hi all,
I posted this on another thread a few days ago, so here it is.... seen as 'juices' are being discussed and other nasties in Carbonated drinks
Please click on link below to see juice types, the companys involved and the fluoride amounts.
The Journal of Clinical Pediatric Dentistry
Volume 16. 1991
Jan G. Stannard, Youn Soo Shim, Maria Kritsineli, Panagiota Labropoulou, Anthi Tsamtsouris
Increasing consumption of beverages as a replacement for water have made fluoride content in beverages an important issue. In this study. forty-three ready-to-drink fruit juices were examined for fluoride ion concentration. It was found that 42% of the samples had more than 1 ppm of fluoride. It was also determined that "pure" fruit juices, often grape juices. contained high levels of fluoride. Juice made from grapes separated from the skin did not contain any fluoride. Since it is common practice to use fluoride-containing insecticide in growing grapes. it is believed that contamination of these juices is occurring. Washing of grape skins produced appreciable quantities of fluoride. Given that increasing numbers of people are consuming beverages instead of water, fluoride supplementation should not be based solely upon the concentration of the drinking water, but should also consider the amount of different beverages consumed and their fluoride content.
Few studies have investigated fluoride exposures from juices and juice-flavored drinks manufactured with water. on this study, the authors analyzed 1532 juices and juice drinks for fluoride. Fluoride ion concentrations ranged from 0.02 to 2.80 parts per million, in part because of variations in fluoride concentrations of water used in production.
Children's ingestion of fluoride from juices and juice flavored drinks can be substantial and a factor in the development of fluorosis.

I can advise you this one:
The versatile Imperial Berkey system.
My daughter has been using it at home for over a year now.
She lives in the USA (Seattle) and has to cope with the fluoride amongst other things.......
It is the ideal system for use with small to medium sized groups, at home or outdoor activities or during unexpected emergencies.
This powerful system purifies both treated water and untreated raw water from such sources as remote lakes, streams, stagnant ponds and water supplies in foreign countries, where regulations may be substandard at best. Perfect for outdoor activities and a must in hostile environments where electricity, water pressure or treated water may not be available.
The Imperial Berkey system removes pathogenic bacteria, cysts and parasites entirely and extracts harmful chemicals such as herbicides, pesticides, VOCs, organic solvents, radon 222 and trihalomethanes.
It also reduces nitrates, nitrites and unhealthy minerals such as lead and mercury.
This system is so powerful it can remove food coloring from water without removing the beneficial minerals your body needs. Virtually no other system can duplicate this performance.
