This is a half-hour presentation that makes the troubles we face as a globe crystal-clear in a way that every person can precisely understand.

There is no doubt that we need to come together as a global community - the only question is; under who's authority? We need to make sure it's OUR authority and vision and not the infamous 1%

So, none of this is new to the meat suits that own Big Energy. They either:

a.) are going to allow it to run this way until they are personally inconvenienced (regardless how many other humans and non-human species perish in the meantime.) Then, they take their fortunes out of Big Energy and put their money elsewhere - finally introducing (or simply stopping the suppression of) "free energy" (FE) when they are damn good are ready and when they personally desire its benefits. Possibly, they will even invest their fossil fuel fortunes in the commercial FE field. They could go for at least a few more generations as the manufacturers/distributors/maintenence industry of FE. In fact, if they control the manufacture of the devices, they can assure a low mean time between failure (MTBF) by design (planned obsolescence) just like lightbulb manufacturers have been doing for three quarters of a century (see: "The Lightbulb Conspiracy.) An alternative manufacturing strategy would be that they could declare that the scale of the devices must be very large - electricity generation plant sized - and only release FE electricity, metered, rather than releasing the technological information that could be used to make small scale, off-the-grid devices (just as is now true to a large degree with atomic energy.)

b.) really are planning to kill off 95% of Earth's human population, so that they don't need to worry about population control (and any of the adverse affects of population regarding rapid consumption of resources) for centuries. They could even create 2 separate subspecies of people: their ruling class, and a modified sub-human class with deliberately impaired brain function in some areas, that literally would not have the ability to rebel or complain, but that could be taught to do the physical work that robots don't do very well. (Kind of like the one theory that small gray ETs are a genetically engineered sub-race, subservient to other - fully functioning - ETs.)

c.) something else I'm not thinking of.

Because these people are megalomaniacs, they will attempt to remain in control forever. Because these people are sociopaths/psychopaths, and don't have any emotional or spiritual connection to the rest of humanity, they are ruthless. What this reminds me (really, what it screams to me), is that we must usurp their power. We cannot reason with them, bargain with them, or beg from them - we need to take over as controllers of our own destiny. It's really our only chance.

I took exception with several of the themes within the video, for example at around 22:39 there is the misstatement that organic farming cannot keep pace - yield-wise - with non-organic farming. This disinformation (probably inculcated by the agri-chem industries) was dispelled once and for all is a nearly unpublicized major 30-year study, showing that as much or more food per acre could be farmed organically, with the bonus of all the numerous environmental and human health benefits of organic food and farming. (Article: "Organic Farming Outperforms Conventional Practices in 30-Year Study (http://www.sustainablebusiness.com/index.cfm/go/news.display/id/22918)" )

Another thing it does is to mock the very possibility of exotic/alternative energy. In fact, that theme is repeated several times, and hammered home with the white lab coat wearing scientist crying about how problems with alternate technology would leave scientists crying and bashing their heads against the table. If anything, to those that are unfamiliar with FE, this little video is propaganda against FE (as well as gloom and doom about any other non-fossil, non-exotic technologies being an answer.)

Dennis, (in response to your first post) those were my thoughts almost entirely as I watched this red-flag presentation, thank you for spelling it out so succinctly.

To use a very simple analogy;

They have fed us a poison soup one sip at a time. Now we know the meal is meant to silence us at best, or kill us at worst.
Time to throw out the soup, raid their pantry and partake in some of the fine foods they refuse to share. -or- keep eating the poison soup :(

edited to say:

very possibility of exotic/alternative energy.
Funny you should say that - I wrote to the producer after viewing this the first time to say essentially the same thing (since it is our greatest hope for a brighter future, I had had pointed out some of the possibilities currently out there and hoped that there could be more of a push towards that conclusion)

I have to say that I believe this video was absolutely made in good faith to WAKE UP THE POPULACE

Thanks for pointing out the "flaws" however ..
The big picture remains the same -

I don't doubt that. It is actually easy to see that a belief in some sort of an unknown technology that could solve our energy problems could honestly be seen as a 'cop-out' and grabbing at straws of fantasy.

If the video's authors knew about Zero Point Energy, and knew it is a real technology that is simply being suppressed, I think they would have pointed it out as the solution (to at least the energy portion of all of the problems discussed.) They leave the distinct impression that exotic alternative technology, as depicted in animated caricature as a sputtering contraption, is fantasy

Still (and I have not studied enough to dispute this notion), it does make sense that even with free energy, there may still be a maximum carrying capacity on Earth of humans. Maybe the number is 20 billion, maybe 100 billion, but there are only so many resources that could (for example) be mined from asteroids and brought to Earth. So, we as a species may still - at some point - be faced with recognizing the carrying capacity of Earth that will also allow non-human species their sovereignty and habitat to prosper.

I was pleased to see the inclusion of "debt money" being presented as unsustainable in the video.

At the end of the video, I did get the sense that overpopulation - or more precisely, too many humans using too many resources too quickly - and increasing ("growth") - was underscored as the problem. If Zero Point Energy does not enter into the equation , then what is the solution besides a drastic drop in the population?
