Darkness in Srilanka @ 3:30 pm on Feb 14 2012!?

A Srilankan i know told me of a sudden darkness @ 3:30 pm, followed by rain storms...

Sounds like a squall. Experienced one when I was in my teens while driving in a car. Night time and then torrential rain. We had to pull the car off of the road as visibility was impossible. Passed by and day returned withing 10 minutes.

Rain squalls in other countries qualify for threads now? Must be a slow fear porn day. :doh:
