Yeah, you would think so.
But experience shows that, no matter how wrong the predictions, there will always be people willing to follow the failed prophet to the bitter end.
You can see that even here, on this forum.
(And I know a person who is a devout follower of Sylvia Browne.
I thought she would see the error of her ways after the series of Sylvia's notorious debacles in the past years.
I was wrong.)

People that have recently discovered Cliff might not be aware of the changes that have happened with the man and his work.
This thing about predicting specific dates and very detailed events linked to them is kind of recent.
I have been following him since 2008 and have seen the changes.
Yes its true that he has cried wolf in the last year or so and the predicted events never happend.
I cannot think that the man is that stupid to do this without just cause.
So it has occured to me that by the very nature of his work, when he does put out there predictions in writing, he might be doing us all a silent favour.
The fact that by putting all this info out there could check mate the actual planned events, chain of probabilities happening in the materium construct as he would say.
Or maybe his ego has got the best of him and he just can't help in doing so, but I doubt that.

On Sunday's new episode of the Simpsons - Valentine's Day episode 499, at 18 minutes Lisa asks Grandpa Simpson to take her on a romantic voyage and he says he doesn't know if he's free and checks his calendar. Every other day says "waiting to die". Then the week of March 2nd every day says waiting to die and Friday March 2nd obviously says die. Coincidence or are they messing with you? Because, February 6th Clif says your last 26 days of life which is March 2nd. Then February 12th the show airs.

I don't know about you but I did not sell everything I had to build a bunker and go hide after what Cliff said.
I have learned over the years to trust myself and my intuition.
People who get scared and believe the fear mongering have a great opportunity to learn that we should all believe no one but ourselves.
I myself find that these fear mongerers do me a great favour. They give me a comparison point with my own intuition and opinion.
This world of duality is the way it is because it gives us all a great opportunity to reach our own center, our own eye of the storm.
Only when you fear the fear that you can bitch at whomever brought you there.

A few points to be made:

George Ure has been saying that the odds of this event happening are only 15%

Cliff has admitted that he has made stuff up that didn't arise from the data set in order to try to nudge the future.

There have been two posts on HPH since this one

I have seen a picture of him, he had it posted on one of his boat building articles for a while before he took it down.

He has always said that he is only right part of the time, but better than chance. Lots of misses but a few pretty spectacular hits.

i don't know everyone, after listening to john kettler last nite on project camelot, it appears that these are extremely dangerous times and anything could happen. the future, however, is not set in stone. cliff is on a timeline that i don't think is going to happen.

It's all in how you read them. A great example is his predictions that swine flu would sweep the globe with dire consequences.

Instead what we had was the financial contagion news stories about the PIIGS affecting the global financial system.

It would appear as if the underlying language was correct, but it was the interpretation and overlay by Cliff that was wrong.

The other thing that everyone seems to miss is that his reports are not nearly as doom and gloom as the appear superficially. When you first read it the impression is that we are all going to die, but when you read the predictions in the context of the overall report, you see that he thinks that we are still going to have the internet, governments, international trade, the power grid, etc.

The biggest danger means that with exception of a natural event (which lets face it do happen from time to time) that we will continue to believe all these "apocalyptic" memme and we do go to WWIII but that will be a self fulfilling prophesy that we are still in time of stopping

Other than that, we just have to get more balanced with the explotaition of the planet so we can co-exist with the planet and the rest of the creatures in the world. Though...and not surprising the reason why so many want it to end it because then, they do not need to roll up their sleeves

I think that it is as simple as valuing his anonymity. I used to have a very visible job, and it was such a PITA to go into the grocery store and spend an hour talking to people about "work" that I did my shopping at odd hours or out of town.

I now have an "interesting" job and I don't tell most people what I do for the same reason. I don't like talking about "work" all of the time.

The data speaks for itself. It's all in how you read it. Notice that George Ure is still planning for retirement. See my above posts. He always uses the extreme language but the real value is in the context and what's between the big scary stuff. It took me a while to figure it out.

Yeah, I have heard anecdotal stories of people quitting their jobs and otherwise changing their lives based on the webbot reports. It really is sad and unfortunate.
