The Universe is unforgiving.
We have (and still are) creating an illusionary world around our-selves.
Our job is simply to undo this creation of clutter, to realise what we truly are... no one else can do it for us.
I'm sure there are enlightened beings (the enlightened universe) who would do something if they could to help us, but we seem very intent on keeping our door shut. We may have the wish to be knowing, open, carefree and awake, but some of us are holding on very tightly to the door handle....! We are not going to giving up that easily are we?
Self-centred-interest requires quite a bit of letting go ...Laughter..!
Actually there is nothing to forgive.
Someone who decides to 'not' wipe their bottom, will have to put up with the discomfort, until they do something about it. Some learn this faster than others, while the Universe watches on.
'We' have to clean up our own mess! In doing so we will learn to know, understand, find true inner confidence and compassion... we may also find time to discuss what paper we find suitable!
We all have the same potential for awakening, but right now we are at different capacities due to the time involved in practice of, knowledge, understanding, compassion, and finding true inner confidence.
Unfortunately we all practice something as we all have a belief system of some sort, and this may be detrimental to our mental health, as we mainly practice self-centred-interest.
Every-thing stems from our point of view. How we see things, is what is holding it all together.
It is so easy to say,” I am awake.. it's all an illusion!” Try walking through a wall!
It is all about what we trust.
In Buddhism it is said, that if one sees the lama/teacher as an ordinary person, a nice person, a wise person or a Buddha/Wake and Pure, one will receive that same value of teaching. Seeing the teacher as a Buddha does nothing for the teacher, but much to the understanding of the student.
It is all down to the students investigations. So in that way a teaching may be heard on many levels.
The degree of understanding and trust in the teachings, will have an effect on one's devotion and trust, and therefore the amount of blessings one receives, because we open the door ...slightly!
From out top to our bottom it is all in our own hands!
Someone can help by handing you a good quality paper, but you have to wipe your own bum!
If you do not know how to clean up your mess, the 'universe' will wait until you do!
The Universe is watching..... row row, row your boat 'gently' down the stream, merrily merrily, merrily merrily life is but a dream!
Yours, still cannot walk through walls,
Tony
NB.. still on a break!
