OMG, God bless each and every one of them. I never knew there were so many people stranded in the particle infused air around Manhattan. They are to be commended for being humane and risking their lives to save others with whatever floating boat they had. That is one of the reasons I love the northern states so much. There are many heroes in NY, NJ, just waiting to get to work.
HalleluYah for the human heart that beats for all life in times of trouble, we pick up our cross and roll forward.
Thank you for reminding me, of why I need to continue to help my fellow American, regardless of the small sect, that hate me for my color.
Thank you again for the tears of joy I shed in this video.
That's the American Spirti, I thought we lost, since moving to the south. maybe it's time for this green heroe, to save people some money by saving them on energy and water cost. We all have something to contribute and if the south doesn't get on board with green, then they will be so far behind, won't be competitive with revenues in other states. The states that save on energy for services, will be the survivors of the recession.

I am still crying. What a wonderful uplifting film. Ordinary people just doing unordinary acts of kindness, compassion for their fellow humans. Why has this film taken 10 yrs to come out?
Thanks Viking

We are at our best when things are at there worst.
It takes a lot of hard work, time and brainwashing to create the type of people who did 911. That is not our natural state.
This took one radio call. And it happened in seconds.
Thanks Viking

Wow! That was amazing, it's unbelievable that more than 10 years later, this is the first time we knew about this.

Just plain ordinary folks, HA!!!!!! I don't think so :)
Absolutely amazing folks that readily show what the human race is all about and capable of at the drop of a hat.
One day SOON, we will just be free to care unconditionally, without fear or needing a tragedy as a catalyst to make us all come together.

You have to love what is instinctively inside of all of us when darkness makes it's stand, light will shine thru !

I think it took time before that video came out because it would not have suited the PTW frenzying people into fear and war. That would be the last thing that video would do.
In some way it is an anti-war film.

There is a hero in each of us. Sadly it often has to take a tragedy for it to reveal itself.
Perhaps these are signs that all yet has not been forsaken in the midst of greed, poverty and scarcity across the globe.
That mankind indeed at the precipice will come to terms with his true nature of love, compassion and service to one another.
How is it that we seem to have lost our way, amidst our daily lives, that we fail to see the world around us.
What are the steps we each must take to insure our sanity for a peaceful and just society? Mankind cannot exist in fear, wage continual wars and oppress so many that the few may live in luxury.

Stan I think you are right on there. I paid pretty close attention to the news at the time and never saw anything about this.
Would lead one to believe that this is the sort of unity was not exactly in the plans. However, unity in the name of retribution
sure seemed to be a common thing at the time. I have to admit there are some true masters that understand the importance
of shaping belief to further an agenda. These people moved 500,000 people out of there according to the film, thanks for the help
in understanding why I and many others never knew of it. A little true justice was served by the actions of those involved that day.

In the video it mentioned that the Dunkirk evacuation by ships took 330,000 men back to UK. Those ships at a minutes notice, without orders ferried 500,000 worried people to safety. Everyone involved at Dunkirk was paid money for taking part (my old man was one of the last to leave) The New York evacuation nobody was paid. I loved the bit where ordinary workers were helping businessmen and they in turn were helping older women. No class distinction there. I love New York I was only there for 4 nights about 20 yrs ago. Crazy but lovely people, a wee bit like myself.
Stan
PS If anyone doesn't know what unconditional love is then tell them to watch this video, then they WILL KNOW.

Went back and replayed this. Got even more out of it and as some one noted above this was probably kept out of the media because you could see what we could do without Homeland Security. We can now see how Homeland Security is even more of a joke. And most important, we would have been united in strength of who we are as a people with all the good stories up front that only came out years later, instead of of herded by fear to unite to bomb a country that could really do nothing major to us and in fact, had nothing to do with what happened.
And now they want us to forget all this and do it again to Iran. Are we awake yet, as to who the American people really are? A toothless dockman of 20 plus years will be there when you need him and stronger if you give him thru his union health care and a pension. I grew up in the America that to work 40 hours meant you could provide for yourself at least food, clothing, and shelter. Not any more. How many tent cities are there now in this country. More than the Hoovervilles that's for sure.
