I guess we're going to find out one way or another. I have a feeling its going to be fairly uneventful. I don't know why. It just seems that way somehow. Maybe we've been exposed to so much in the last few years 'normal' is now different than it used to be.

It is an interesting thought to carry as the year unfolds but, for me, it is much too early to consider this I will let my heart guide me as each situation arises. I think we are in such a state of flux that there is no point making predictions especially as I have no gift for that sort of thing :)

Something big will happen, I can feel it in my bones. I don't know what it will be, but I know it will be this year, not neccessary on the 21st December. By that date I think we will have had the time to realise what actually did happen. An increase in consciousness would be my biggest bet. Second to that the beginning of a change in how we run the world but that would be a process which when started could be many many years to fruition. I wouldn't rule out some electro magnetism going through the galactic centre happenning concurrent with my first bet. Sunspot activity looks like an inevitability along with more earthquakes. So happy days this year.

I think 2012 will be remembered for financial collapse. :eek: I believe many countries like Britain, the USA, etc. will be bankrupt and their currencies will become worth very little. Savings will be wiped out,:yuck: home prices will fall in compared with Gold & Silver - ie, if your home is worth 1 kg of gold now, it will be worth less than 1 kilo by 31 Dec 2012. :eek: I personally that hyper-inflation won't get very bad in 2012 in most countries, but in 2013 or 2014 it will be terrible so we need to stock up on food, medicine, etc.

I tend to believe what the Mayan people say, that there will be a positive change but depending on your own clarity and ability to sustain yourself. If you have little integrity and no way to feed yourself, it could be difficult. In the long run it will be good, but it could be bumpy getting there.

I agree, think there's a lot of capitalists profiteering, yet I'm certain many believe themselves and kill their cats too. Not to say that cosmic events have not happened in the past, because the geologic record is well documented, ice ages, polar reversals, CMEs and so on.

So, what will the world look like on 1/1/13? I don't know. I tend to take things moment by moment, day by day. You can tell that a lot of crazy stuff is going to happen if our leaders don't change some of the paths we are heading down....war/financial disaster. My guess is that the American electorate is dumb enough to re-elect Obama this year, but I try to remain open-minded about that and hope that if he does, then the world will end on 12/21/2012 so we won't have to worry about that disaster. Like I said, I tend to on day-to-day because I end up worrying about things that I really have no control over. However, I'll be happy to tell you how I'm doing on 1/1/13 if I'm still here. ;)

I believe in my opinion the event will be something to do with our Father Sun, the Cosmic Father, in the past year or so the sun has become brighter and hotter. At the same time Human Consciousness is shifting to a new level away from ego, greed and darkness, evil.

The human heart is opening and our minds are transforming. The sun is changing our DNA, we are becoming lighter. The 2012 event ties in with the gradual paradigm shift of consciousness since 2001; the human heart and the evolution of the mind are transforming.

But there is something missing, there has to be something that will happen that pushes us over the edge for the final test of humanity, either a solar burp, flare event, magnetic pole shift and or a world earthquake preceded by a dimensional shift of the ages event, the three days of darkness. the event will happen within 12 hours, it will happen fast, maybe even over night.

I too, just like aranuk have been experiencing the last handful of months, of what I can only describe as a tremendous "knowing" that something really big is just around the corner. I can not for the life of me shake this feeling, nor do I know what it could possibly be. Some people have suggested that "sensitives" like me are simply picking up on the energy as our earth moves into a higher realm, and I'm picking up other people's enlightenment or awakening. I don't know about any of that, but I just know that something huge is on it's way, or will occur. I do not fear it, nor do I believe it will be any huge horrific apocalypse either. I just feel in the deepest part of my soul that we are on the verge of a tremendous "something".

I must mention that I have had many, many experiences with what I can only describe as "encounters" with deceased loved ones throughout my entire life. Many times I have been given information about things that no one in my family knew about, which turns out to be completely accurate. I have been fortold of things that did infact come to pass, most of it positive, but at times it did involve the foreknowledge of a family members death and passing. I have also had many odd dream encounters with what I wholeheartedly believe are alien beings, or one might call, our space family.

I know many people think that day may be a chaotic event that will kill or harm us all...and some believe it will bring in a New Age and a changing event to human history. I think the Mayans were trying to state that something good will happen, not a bad one.

I was discussing this with some friends last year. Some of them believe it may increase the crime, murder and suicide rate because of all the fear and hype. ( I know...that's a terrible thing to say).

But with all the research I have done and the things I have encountered... I believe wholeheartedly that it may bring a spiritual awareness, perhaps an awakening like some of you mentioned...a higher consciousness and improved intellect, DNA, etc. But whatever will happen, I will just focus on living everyday, grow spiritually deeper with myself and my beliefs, help out others and to love and cherish the ones close in my life.

Perhaps the neanderthals, the dinasours, and the frozen mammoths (with tropical food remaining in their bellies) didn't see (or believe) it was coming either. Perhaps also the Atlanteans, and many others...

However, not to worry, there are options:

1. Hang on or let go and enjoy the thrill (better than any amusement ride)? Thus far (because so many seem unaware and disinterested in the latter), I believe the majority have chosen this option.
2. Request to be removed prior to the shift, returning "home" to a more familiar, intelligent, loving and peaceful environment.
3. Request to be removed prior to the shift, and return to rebuild a new civilization.
4. Request to be directed to a safe haven prior to the shift within or upon the Earth to remain to help others before and after the shift, to reduce suffering of others and rebuild a new civilization.

That is my opinion.

I can hardly wait until the end of the year. I have a list of members and W.B. I would love to see what they do when the year passes and nothing really changes but our rise in conciousness.

I've yet to see a more effective plan for destabilizing a species. Years end can't come soon enough....

Maybe the whole concept of 2012 is like the mystery schools. As you begin to examine the phenomena it may mean one thing. The more you dive in and ferret out the truth the more you understand. Maybe the whole concept of 2012 is to educate you about the Mayan Calandar and other ways of viewing the world. Maybe just the threat of something happening is being used to shape our consciousness. These consciousness changes whether fear based or not take place from simply considering the concept of what 2012 is supposed to represent. We are all going through that even if we don't welcome or like it. You are being exposed.

I provided an analogy. Our job is to prevent that, and many other things, from taking place... that sitting around and postulating whether real is real or not does not necessarily prevent things from actually happening, except perhaps, taking action.

Plenty of real absurd things have been allowed to happen for quite some time now, because humans were largely unaware. That is changing fast, but, to the key point:

Knowledge, Consciousness, Awareness (being "Awake") means nothing unless acted upon. That means many things to many people; we all have our different perspectives and roles that are often not understand by others— myself included.

I think that there will be a lot of global turmoil, wars will still be fought because that is what humans enjoy doing in 3D. I dont think there will be a mass human consciousness awakening even though I wish this finally happened. If there is an ET invasion then it will be orchestrated by humans, and hopefully majority of humans will not fall for the lie. Hopefully the next world war and a nuclear explosion will be somehow prevented. Mother Earth will continue to be restless, but that is what she needs to do, she is not stupid she knows what she needs to be doing and we cannot stop her. There won't be the end of the world because this planet has not finished its journey and neither have humans. We still have a long way to go before we destrust ourselves. If there was such a thing as one creator and if I was IT (anyway we are all creators), then I would find a way to kick everyone's as s so that everyone would finally awaken and do the the job that they were meant to do RIGHT NOW so that we would not have to reincarnate again.

Personally, I hope I will meet in person in 2012 like minded real flesh and blood humans, and hopefully I will not die. Hopefully I will get rid of more baggage this year that I have brough with me from past lives into this life, there is still a lot I need to do before I die, so 2012 is not the end for me personally. The last past life I had was not very pleasant.

I imagine that all the structures, ie: Government, Economy, etc. will all change as a product of a Conciousness Shift, but none of it will happen overnight!

2012 is just the centre point of an 36 year window of opportunity that we, as a species are experiencing right now, nothing as big as a shift in the conciouness of humanity can happen suddenly, and will take at least 2 generations (if a generation is defined as about 20 years) the old mindset has to pass away for a new idea to take its place!

Having said that, I still think we are in for an exciting time this year, as there is so much awareness, even in the general population, and we do create our own reality!!

From my perspective, 2012 will be remembered differently, depending on where do you end up. In my understanding, there will be a split of realities on the second half of the year, and all of us will co-create our final destination according to our intention and level of awareness and conciousness. What we focus our attention on during this first part of the year, pretty much will determine our destination, so we should pick between fear and caos, or new and different (better of course). It's up to everyone.

I feel your frustration and impatience. I believe there is a gradual transition (to a point) so that we can dust ourselves off from sleeping for so long (figuring out who is friend and foe), awaken the person/s next to us, do a bit of house cleaning (resolve outstanding kharmic issues/ guilt & forgiveness resolution) and try to round up as many of our friends and family as possible. I believe the latter part is as important as the first.

Please consider this. If you didn't know anything about all of this you may be happier than if you didn't. It is important to not let this depress you or anger you to the point you can't function. This is how the world really works. Now you know. Use it to make your life better. It makes you more aware of the real line of history and how people treat each other. Most of us don't approve of it after we find out. Don't let it destroy you. Use it to make you stronger and better.

Blessings Cartomancer, energy gardener and others, thanks for the encouragement. Yeah sometimes i feel really tired and really want some instant change like the three days void, darkness dimensional shift. I guess the universe is teaching me patience, humility and living in the moment.

Anyways I have contacted a shaman from Peru and another wise man who now lives in Calgary and they both state the coastlines will be flooded due to either a magnetic pole reversal or sever earth changes. I don't know why they would be lying. Obviously many others are saying a similar scenario like George Kavissilas, Dan Winter, and Drunvalo. Are all these guys wrong, they seem to know more than the average Joe.

Sloppyjoe, I believe you are describing many an Avalonian, certainly myself. I cannot determine at this time if the "New Earth" will be acceptable or not for long term habitation for me, but I am hoping I/we can help effect human consciousness and Earth's new culture closer to what I am/was familiar with: The natives and environs of Avatar would be terrific, no?
