"My friend Rupert Sheldrake, said Dawson Church of EFT Insights, author of the just-published book The Science Delusion, and originator of the theory of Morphic Resonance, is running a new experiment in which you can participate. It's fun, takes just a few minutes, and is one of a whole series of experiments Rupert is doing that demonstrate the interplay of consciousness and reality.

The way it works is that you register your mobile phone number, and those of two friends. At 6 random times, you'll get a call from a computer that will also have called one of your two friends.

Before answering, you guess which of the two it is. In a random universe, you have a 50% chance of guessing correctly. Yet in his previous studies, callers guess significantly better than chance would suggest. Register, and see how you do!

I told Rupert that he'd receive an enthusiastic response from the EFT community, so please register (http://www.sheldrake.org/Onlineexp/portal/mobiletelepathy.html) today"

This is the second time in less than 24 hours that I have heard or read the term "telephone telepathy". I experienced it hundreds of times in the days before mobile phones and caller ID. I often answered the phone by saying something like "Hi mum" or "Hi Glenn", naming the caller before they spoke.

My dad does it too. When the phone rings, he often says "that'll be Jane" (or whoever) before he walks to the phone to answer it and almost every time he is right about who is calling.

Another common variation is just thinking of a random person and within seconds, the phone rings and it is the person I thought about. That happened to me today - I thought of my daughter and she called.

I never deliberately try to have telephone telepathy, it just happens. The feeling of knowing who is calling is instantaneous and without any doubt or hesitation.

Rupert Sheldrake's experiment sounds interesting. However, I'm not interested in participating in the game, er, research because I don't want to give my phone number or the phone numbers of two friends to a stranger... even if he is your friend, kt. No offence. Nonetheless, I would like to read the results of the experiment.

Choose two people you have a heart connection with and I bet the score goes up!
