The elites have some interest in keeping Wyoming functional. Dick Cheney the dark lord himself grew up in Casper so his family lives there, and has a ranch in Jackson Hole.

Here's an interesting observation. The Casper Star-Tribune article this story links to is the only news coverage it's getting in the state. I've seen this article on a half dozen alternative news sites already, but in there is no coverage in this state by the newspapers or TV news except for the Trib. And I live in the state capitol where these bills are the news of the day.
