I live in the midwest of the states, Kansas to be exact, last night we got hit with severe thunder storms and 40 minutes west and and hour south of me both got hit with a tornado. straight line winds caused damage in other areas surrounding me.
The reason Im telling ya'll about this is...its not tornado season yet.
I live in whats known as Tornado Alley. For the non Americans, Tornado Alley is a section of several states that usually always gets tornados during tornado season, which is usually between April-June.
Its still winter here, spring doesn't technically hit till late March. It had been an incredibly mild winter. tomorrow is gonna be 70 degrees when its suppose to still be 40s.
Last year we got hit with many tornados several very crippling, maybe some of you remember the Joplin Tornado, I remember there was a thread made about it because it took out an entire town including a hospital.
Its gonna be a long spring and summer.
Just thought I'd inform people of the strange weather here in the midwest.
Peace!

Pixie,
Part of this 'strange behavior' is do to the pole shift we're in the middle of, and also the rest of it likely is part of the 'attacks' being hit at us from Russian Scaler Weapons, or HAARP. But, most likely Russian Scaler Weapons. Their weather control technology is worse than what HAARP can do.

Thanks Pixie dust I live in Tennessee and we are under tornado watches and expecting bad storms after 4 this evening, same system hit you all is heading our way. Everything here is bloomed out it as it looks like April. I am just getting repairs finished to my house from last april, I so dread this spring if it is this bad already who knows what to expect, I am dreading tonight, hope we make it without any destruction. Though, Im glad you are safe and ok.

I figured. Im also right next door to the new madrid fault line. (i think i spelled that right??) So if their plan is to blow it anytime soon I'm sure the weird weather is only going to get weirder the more they focus on this area. Just crossing my fingers they hold out till i get a chance to move. I have plans to get out of here but not the means yet. As of now, I'll be under water if it goes.
Seko and Ria, Im in an apartment currently so shelter is limited but i have a plan and know where to go and what to do. I have a small survival box in my coat closet. I'll be alright for a bit anyway, but luckily i live next to a big hill and a creek so the natural landscape shouldn't allow a tornado too close. But last year one touched down where tornados supposedly couldn't form. So we'll see!
Davy, I'll send good energy your way! Hopefully the storms weakened and youll just get a pretty light show and some rain. Good luck tonight! stay safe :)

Greetings PixieDust! I grew up in Tornado Alley--- I SOOOO wish you had a basement, as ours saved us on numerous occasions, but very glad to hear you have a plan.
I don't know if you're familiar with Dutchsinse? He has a Youtube channel and gives weather updates & possible scenarios long before the system even develops. I hope you'll subscribe to it/ or at least check it often. He's usually spot on.
Many prayers of safety flowing your way... Be safe!

I'm seeing a lot of attention from the MSM today about all
the bad weather going on down in the southern and midwest
states, so i'd like to say, please be safe. Tornado's are nothing
to joke about and i fear for everyone that make be in the wake
of one. Please get out of it's way until the danger has passed....

I live in central Kentucky, and we had at least 3 tornados strike our area today, thunderstorms (and have had for weeks). One of the tornados came within a mile of our home, no damage, we're okay. It was in the upper 60's today and has been well above normal for quite a while with only sporadic cool spells and almost no snow this winter. The daffodils and some of the flowering trees are already blooming and have been for about a week now, the frogs are croaking, the mosquitos are out, birds are singing, this is very different, not normal for our area, for this time of year.
And to add to this strangeness, the USDA Planting Guide has been updated, showing a growing warming trend and the addition of two new zones.

Branson Missouri ... beautiful spot (although it's gotten way too crowded and commercialized). We went there summer before last.
Anyway ... tornado took out *7 miles* of the city's commercial strip.

Resort city of Branson takes a direct hit from tornado
By Phil Gast, CNN

(CNN) -- Officials in the resort city of Branson, Missouri, were relieved an EF2 tornado, which damaged some of its marquee musical theaters, struck before the prime tourist season began.
They said Wednesday the town was still open for business, although tourists might have to change some of their entertainment plans.
"We are getting through it," Mayor Raeanne Presley said of the storm that moved through early Wednesday.
The tornado had winds of 120 to 130 mph, was 400 yards wide and was on the ground for about 20 miles, according to a preliminary report from the National Weather Service.
The storm smashed at least seven miles of the city's commercial strip. Although tourists were in town, the numbers would likely have been much higher in about two weeks, when entertainment moves into full gear through Christmas, officials said.

I live in southern illinois, about 10 miles from Harrisburg, where a tornado killed 10 and injured hundreds early this morning. VERY early. Some of the redbuds are in FULL BLOOM. It's crazy. I saw the radar last night before I went to bed, and that line of storms looked kinda manufactured to me. I don't have a basement either, so it's gonna be a longggggg spring.

I agree with the manufactured. Plus as it moved across the country it kept its form pretty well. basically a long line. I noticed the radar over the eastern states looked a whole lot like the radar I was watching the night before.
Youd think with that much wind the storm would separate and break apart and become smaller storms cells. I'm no meteorologist, but this section of states keeps getting hit with these unusually strong storms that keep together. They always make the news, how are people not noticing weather not behaving normally?!

Here in the SW Virginia Mountains tornados are unheard of, none the less ,we are under a tornado warning and the line of extreme weather heading our way is incredible.
The worst part is my 82 year old mother who has dementia thinks I have taken her back to Kansas. And she heard the weatherman say that we should have certain emergency items in place . . . she heard flashlight and that if we had bicycle helmets that would be good to protect our heads.. . . . trouble is I have no helmets of any kind . . . which greatly disturbed my mother.
And so my sweet 82 year old mother is sitting on the coach holding a flashlight, with her rubber river boots on . . . . with a metal colander on her head . . . I don’t know whether to laugh or cry . . . .

PixieDust,
I grew up in Kansas too..20+ years..But it's the Midwest and we go through this all the time. I am sorry to see anyone hurt or even worse from such crazy weather. But what I will say this about growing up in the Midwest..we don't cry to the government for help..we take care of our own.
I live in St. louis now and I have to worry about the storms and that damn fault line.
Best Regards.

Blufire- I hope all is well with you and your lovely mum! That was such a lovely human image in such a horrible scenario. The tornados were on our news last night- and I thought of the Avalonians I had read about in tornado country, and hoped they are all safe and out of danger now.

Praise be to the Gods , we made it, tonight was so frightening but we made it with out any damage and our lives! I feel so blessed and my energy goes out to all those that was not so lucky, please pray or send your thoughts and energy to those affected in these storms from Hell, we were in the basement, myself, my Partner Casper,my brother and sister in law. We were prepared with glassy lights and at least a hundred gallons of water I've been saving for two years now! I told everyone at least we wouldn't thirst to death, lol.
It has been one wild day!
I just want to send my love out to everyone and say you are all in my thoughts and prayers remember the more You do for others the more rewarding your life will become! Hugg. Davy,

"Sat, Mar 3: It's called tornado alley... Residents from the deep
south to the U.S. Midwest know they live in the path of some of
the most intense and potentially destructive storms. But when the
tornado sirens sound, nothing can prepare you for the fear that
grips your heart, and the knowledge that devastation is bearing down."
