FAQ:
Is it a script?
Maybe. I was able to write down my personal understanding about meditation and human since I started years ago. You should try to found out unique methodology that works for you. I doubt humans invented meditation ever. One thing I like to suggest putting aside the brain when you meditate. I got to the point "Meditation is living" what Jiddu krishnamurti said.
How long should I practice meditation a day?
Honestly time is irrelevant. A brief moment, few minutes of mind clearance, or few hours of session. Heartless repetition will lead to dead end. Look at the Buddhist monks or see established meditation institutions. What does it tell? Why would they become corrupted, asking $$$ for human liberation technique?
Follow your inner feeling, do it when you feel like. The important is quality not quantity after all. Why there are so few true meditation masters? It tells all. Some people probably live in harmonious life which doesn't need to exercise meditation.
What's a good place for meditation?
One needs to work around to find quiet space. I have ear plugs, eye cover that blocks light just in case.
What's the best meditation posture?
Probably the lotus seat. But you can sit on a chair, lay on a bed or couch.
What clothes I should wear?
The best is completely naked body at room temperature. One who has own bed room can do it.
If not wear loose clothes that keep your body warm not too hot nor cold. Having meditation in naked under the sun either late morning or afternoon is bliss. I personally doesn't like the sun gaze with open eyes. One layer of eye lid does it makes so different? It's come down to mind and intent of oneself. I close the eyes when I do sun gaze. City life sucks.
What kinds of experiences I will have? A lot.
Unless you are seduced by eye candies, you will experience a lot of things. High feeling on drug, sense of oneness, various physiological effects, ecstasy. The intensity will get stronger as you move on. Then suddenly you will become one with universe, sense of complete hollowness yet interconnected with everything. It's hard to explain by words.
What is difference between hypnosis and meditation?
A thought has power of manifestation itself. To me hypnosis and meditation is same at the end. Once you obtain the ability to enter the state by will any given time, I would say you become the one. But there are so many humans, non-human entities that exist at such state. Because in non-physical realm there is no boundary at all.
