View Full Version : Did anyone just see a fireball hurtling through the sky in the UK?

I unfortunately did not, but just been on Facebook there and a few friends are talking about a huge fireball that was racing through the sky 15-20 mins ago. So far I've seen posts from people in Manchester and Rotherham saying that they saw it.
Some one suggested that it was a Chinese lantern, to which the reply was: "It was massive... Not a lantern!! It was utterly hurtling across the sky!!! Amazing!!"
Saying as others, separated by a fair old distance, appear to be describing the same thing, I'm confident it's not a lantern. Big ol' Meteor perhaps? Joyriding extra-terrestrials? Who knows?!

LMAO Chinese Lantern. I highly doubt it.

$10 says it was a Chemtrail plane that became "someone's" Target Practice ;) , or probably just an asteroid. But, we can wish right?

Nope. The weather is bad here at the moment. Plus I live nowhere near England.

It was going west to east. Definitely not a meteor. Travelling low and straight. Not sure if the siren was coming from the ufo but there is no way a car could keep up with this thing. Unless it was a coincidence. I heard it at exactly the same time it sped by.

Does anyone else think its strange that these objects are appearing all over the world.
So many this year alone could be coincidental

Yes I think I saw it but it had no tail, just an orange ball from where I was and I was in a vehicle travelling quite fast.

I'm telling you this wasn't a meteor. It was travelling in a straight horizontal line, no debris and it didn't burn up, it just kept going. It would have to be one big meteor to last that long in our atmosphere. Also it was so low. I'd say 300 meters up. Max.
The MSM are on damage control again. Why does anyone believe their clap trap. Honestly.

One of the comments made is of interest, that the thing also looked like it was going upwards at one point, NOT on the downwards trajectory.

I saw this over Sedgley, West Midlands at around 9.45. It looked like a sky rocket but it was too big, too high and the tyrajectory was too shallow. I knew it wasn't a plane because it was moving too quickly. One thing that puzzles me about the meteorite theory is that my first impression was that the object was not falling, but climbing at an angle of about 30 degrees.

Maybe those Objets are entering in our atmosphere.

hi peeps my son saw it last night too, we live in the east midlands, he described it as a meteor, orangey yellow glowing ball with a tail and sparks flying off behind it, he said he heard a siren too. but said it suddenly just fizzled out and then the sky went red. blessed be aquamarine
perhaps another stage light fell out of the sky :)

I saw it last night too I was on my way to the pub the trajectory was very horizontal accross the sky not falling like previous meteors i have seen, I watched it cross the sky it was orangey with a sparkyly tail. In my opinion still a meteor though as I suppose the direction it travels in is just based around the trajectory it is on when it hits the atmosphere.

I've seen about 5 fireballs over the past 2 years. I started sitting outside in the middle of the night begging to be shown something..that's when the fireballs started. I saw a green and orange one about a month ago that dozens of other people reported seeing up and down the east coast. Although everyone said it was low to the ground and we all reported seeing it at the same exact time. It doesn't make sense that we could all see the same green and orange fireball low to the ground at the same time if we live 400 miles away from one another. I still can't wrap my head around it..was it a meteor or some inter-dimensional object? I would like it to be a UFO. the night after i saw it, i walked outside in the dark night, and i said to myself..was that a UFO? And then all of a sudden another Orange flash of light bolted down from the sky again. And i have been tested to have better then 20 20 vision. I still want to know..meteor ..UFO?

Based on the talks in the thread here and my experience, it is a UFO. You can be sure.
This I havent seen though, I saw black triangles with something orange glowing in the center. I read a lot of reports on army trying to reproduce these machines. Not much success. You see they use a spectroscope I thing to identify whats going on in the UFO and then try and remake it.
Have you ever seen a gray-blue thing spinning on the sky? I had one following me for hours.
So its a UFO for sure. Trust me :D
