Some experiences I've been having

I've had a couple of experiences that have never happened to me in my life. The first thing has only happened twice. When I went to bed and closed my eyes after about 10 minutes my whole body got really heavy. I felt like I was filled with wet sand and I could not move for the life of me. Still having my eyes closed I saw a pulsating ball of every color imaginable. Then my spas husband jerked and the ball went away and my body didn't feel weighted down anymore. The second thing happens all the time now. I will close my eyes and see flashes of light a bit dimmer than a flashlight being shined in my face. Has anyone else had this happen or does anyone know what is going on with me? Thanks.

To me (how I describe this to myself), you are experiencing out of body experiences and are revealing (to yourself) your truer nature, that of a lighter density being.

We are all that. Balls of light.

You are just witnessing it.

It is nothing special (to get upset about).

Ah ok. That's very interesting. It was actually kind of relaxing even though I couldn't move. lol

For about the last year or two I've been seeing an intense ball of colored light through my closed eyelids after I go to bed. This happens maybe a couple of times a week. I can actually see it whenever I think about it instead of just going to sleep. Usually the color is an intense pulsating purple. I have left my body many times and this isn't like that although it's similar in that I am seeing without eyes which is how I see when out of body.

Maybe if I could stay awake and concentrate more on the color I would leave my body, but I haven't been very interested in leaving my body for several years. Been there, done that. I'm getting pretty old now (almost 65) so if I die in 10-20 years I'll have the fun of finally leaving THIS body permanently! I'm excited. LOL

As I understand it, you were seeing the light of spirit through your eyelids. I wouldn't worry about it. As for the wet sand feeling, I'd say your conscious mind was stopping you from leaving your body. It essentially weighed you down. You didn't feel safe enough to allow it to happen. Your husband's jerking brought you to full consciousness. IMO you were about to have an OBE....
This is one explanation anyway....

I have the lights around me all the time, especially while meditating... It feels so good!

I've seen those swirling colours through my closed eyelids for many many years.... I enjoy seeing them. I'm not to the stage of OBE yet but I believe I've come close a few times.....
