This photo was taken last night Saturday March 3rd, 2012 in Rome Georgia USA. It came along the news feed on facebook. Imagine the photographer when they took this photo?!!! It shows lightenning within the tornado! Wild indeed!!! :jaw:

That is incredible. It would be interesting to see if anyone here knows about Tornadoes and Weather in general that could comment on the implications of this, and how such a tornado could form with that kind of electricity etc. If it even could possibly be considered Natural.

Does lighting really appear inside the eye of a tornado? I saw the movie Twister and never expected it to appear there. If so, what causes it to?

Answered by: Ron Holle, research meteorologist, NOAA National Severe Storms Laboratory, Norman, Okla.

A: If lightning ever occurs inside a tornado, it is extremely rare. There is no conclusive evidence that it has done so.

Both lightning and tornadoes are caused by strong convection - cumulonimbus clouds - with strong updrafts in deep clouds. Lightning needs an updraft that reaches high enough for some water droplets to freeze and form ice, which occurs above about 15,000 feet in warm seasons and locations. Similarly, tornadoes need strong updrafts and other wind conditions in the convection. But the likelihood of them occurring simultaneously in time and space is extremely small.

Anyone think this is a natural phenomenon (just rarely photographed)?

Or, evidence of man-made ("HAARP") weather?

I don't even think its a HAARP attack,
it's an act of God.
Note the eye, right about in the middle, with the lightning pouring out of it.

looks quite similar to this photo, taken during a volcanic eruption:

However rare they may be, you can't dispute the awesome power of nature!

It's the same picture.

Volcano makes sense. Tornado didn't.

Thank you BlueGem, I only posted it as I saw it on my news feed on FB. My mistake for not catching that one! Incredible photo either way isn't it?! :)

Just went through the FB news feed again and it does seem I jumped the gun on this photo. Hey I got broad shoulders,,,no probs! The news feed further confirmed it was a fake sadly.

" According to ECHO storm team, the photo is a fake and actually fom a Peruvian volcano shoot."

Haha, whoops. Did a quick google search to find an article I read a couple of months ago. Oh well, more sleep for me before I post in future.

Above is a link to the actual article on the Chili volcano eruption where this picture comes from.

It may resurfaces for a useless hoax but it's still a pretty impressive and humbling image.

It's the same picture.

It's not actually the same picture - same volcano, different shot. Look more closely at the lightning.

I was on the 2012 site, because of an e-mail, and it pertained to the Most Holy ArchAngel Michael. He said that we were to have patience, he has permission to deal with all the negative influence on the people's of the planet. That he was sending the four winds from the corners of the planet. This tornado, has lightning in it. Rather different wouldn't you say?
He said He would send the for winds from the corners of Earth to deal with those with evil intention and all that thought like them, producing the negative influence and enslavement of humans around the world.

I guess it's time for ALLpeople TO LOOK INSIDE THEMSELVES AND SEE IF THEY ARE LACKING IN SPIRITUAL MATURITY, TO MOVE FORWARD AND STOP PRODUCING NEGATIVE, UNPRODUCTIVE ENERGY DURING ASCENSION.

It won't be tolerated, and there is no stopping it. He said. He has permission from Jesus.

The message from Michael was posted on the 23rd of February. Count back the days, and there was 24hrs before the storms.
